Good place for fuel ⛽ heading north

Has improved since the 90s 😄 a brand new building and canopy overhead would be beneficial for the town (subject to unlimited costs of course)

Great hotel especially as we needed a eftpos terminal out of hours.

Has 24/7 chip and pin! I was astounded to find that the fuel station in Hanmer shuts at 6pm. Really early. I was desperate for fuel as I was setting off to Picton the next morning at stupid o’clock (4-5 hours away). Luckily this place is about 30 mins away and has 24/7 chip and pin. I could fuel up even though the station was closed. Why on Earth the station in Hanmer doesn’t have this feature is beyond me. I’m just glad I didn’t have to trek back to Amberley.

The young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The fuel prices are quite expensive.

Just a shame about the entrance ways for long Caravans and motor homes we have a long overhang.
