Gull Matamata. Good price on fuel. Barista made coffee. Clean toilets. Selection of hot and cold food. Friendly staff.

Probably the last service station before you head over the hills to Tauranga or head further south to Rotorua. Competitive pressure with Z service station at the other end of Matamata main street often causes this Gull station to offer good prices. Quite good station if you can't be bothered to stop at Matamata shops for a pie or ice-cream or drink.
