Reviews of Gull Atiamuri

Great prices for fuel. 91, 98 and Diesel. Was 40 cents cheaper than Auckland today. It's a typical pay at pump Gull so you must use a card to pay. Also there is no toilet as they are on septic system for their personal residences behind and can't let everyone fill up their systems. Lastly, snacks are really cheap for a petrol station and the pork crackling is very popular with motorists in the know.

Some of the cheapest petrol in the North Island. I often stop here. Pumps are self serve, but there is a store attached to the pumping area where one can buy snack foods and drinks. I've never used the store, so this review is for the pumps only. Note that you can only use EFTPOS cards and credit cards at the pumps. I don't think the store staff have anything to do with the pumps judging by the notice in the window, ha ha. Access is good but care needs to be taken when rejoining the flow of highway traffic.

If your going on a trip to Taupo or travelling further down, I'll definitely suggest you to use this petrol station which has drive through meaning op3n 24/7 and is always much cheaper to any other petrol station in Taupo. A small petrol station has a small shop where you can buy some snacks, cold and sift drinks and use toilets if you need to.

Be prepared to join the queue. The petrol has got to be the best priced in NZ as far as I know. All self service but totally worth it and worth the wait. Shows up the so-called service stations and the profits they're making - obviously can't just blame the Government and this station in the middle of absolutely no where proves it. Sure can't blame delivery costs. Never thought I'd say it as a loyal Mobil customer but running on nothing but fumes, THANK YOU GULL. The price left me gob-smacked and were a real eye opener.
