Home to some of the best greens in Auckland and also holds a very special place in my heart. The Akarana members are a great bunch and always make you feel welcome, really enjoy playing here a couple of times a year. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales

A beautiful course that I enjoyed except for the very slow play - both times I played there. I am talking slow - 3 4-balls waiting on a tee waiting for four players that prepare for putts as if its August National. The club needs a marshal. A good experience spoiled by the super slow play.

Great service for a corporate golf day! Awesome food, really great course for all skills, staff who are willing to go the extra mile for you. Central location. We will be back!

One of the best value for money green fee courses in Auckland. Very well maintained, slick greens, great challenge with lots of variety - and great winter drainage. Comparing to courses that are $80-$120++ , at only $50-60 Akarana is arguably a bargain. Very enjoyable.

Best greens in Auckland. Can be a little busy but definitely a course worth checking out. Tony behind the bar is 10/10 best barman i've met.

5 star Auckland golf club fantastic people running with space and excellent course.

This is the first golf course I play in New Zealand. I'm playing here because at this course I am entitled to reciprocal privileges from my club in Malaysia. I can say this course is easy and not too much challenging. Although playing for the first my score just 4 over. It is probably because I played in really good weather. The entire fairway and green is well maintained even though it has been around for almost a century. The green speed between 8-9 is perfect for recreational games. I'll be back to playing again in the future.

Perfect for a short walk (about 5 km round trip) including a cut halfway if you want to go shorter. Flat terrain for those who prefer to avoid elevated trails. Benches spaced throughout the walk to sit down and take a breather. Soccer, cricket grounds in the centre of the park if you want to hang around and watch some sports. A couple of play areas for kids are also present.

Our Toddler loves this playground! Toilets are quite far from the kids play area, not helpful in toilet training times. Nice coffee at the cafe that's very close too, which makes it great for parents as well.

Love this place I go here all the time the cafe is great. It is good for all levels of golf players and I love the layout. Like it how you can do classes there for if you are a beginner. The prices for renting trunders and clubs are relly good and also the price for golf carts are fantastic as well. The only thing that I do not like is how much construction there is but that dose not matter to much at least you can still play 18 holes. Hope the get the construction over and done with soon. Highly recommend going there and playing golf. Also has a bar.

Working in the bar at this function. Evening was a great success - dancing to the band, delicious catering by Foodsters, everyone left happy!

. (12/2017) A big size park with multiple playgrounds and leisure centre as part of its setup. Dedicated walkways and cycle routes exist around this park making it a good place for taking a leisure walk / run on a nice clear day or biking around. Well maintained and lot of shadowed places around playgrounds where you may spot small groups enjoying picnics on beautiful sunny days. This park is dog friendly. Nice place to organise sport matches and you can notice sponsor boards at different ends left from recently organised events. The park is surrounded by a little stream and you may spot ducks in it. A little Children playground is at the centre of the park. Seating and benches are provided for taking rest and enjoying the views. There is nice and easy entrance to the park at the end of Arundel Street but for some reason Google Maps takes you through the Vic Butler Street with limited street parking. Ample parking space for the park visitors. Wheelchair parking is available and there is wheelchair accessible entrance. Public restrooms are available at this location and change rooms are located next to them.

Been once for a party at the clubhouse. Golf bores me to tears though. But it gets 5 stars as it sells beer. Not sure if you can take beer on the course or if you are allowed to drive the carts when hammered. Beer doesn’t bore me at all. I only have good things to say about beer. Any friend of beer is a friend of mine. Beer has been a good friend tonight. Quite good indeed! Go golf! Golf rules! 🤘

This is a large multipurpose sports area in Mt Roskill. Swimming, gymnastics, ballet, football etc can all be found with the park or within the building found in the site. The playground is great for children with swings, slides, trampolines etc. Large green fields can be used for having fun, walking the dog etc. Easy access from the North Western and South Western Motorways

The park is a very good area covering all the sports and spread across a huge space. I would like to suggest that the dog owners to take care of their dogs not to set them free causing inconvenience to the joggers. They should ensure they tie their dogs with the strings and be after them instead the dog freely roaming everywhere. I am also a pet lover but there are some people who are scared of dogs we should also respect their feelings and understand them better.

Great course with plenty of water and sand, large practice green and great clubrooms. Holes 5 and 8 over the water are very fun holes. The $20 after 4pm deal is one of the best deals in the city but it sounds like they are taking it away.

Lovely peaceful place to walk. Other walkers and runners very friendly. Always something going on. Feels very safe for all. Good toilets and drinking stations.

Excellent place for an evening jog. Right next to club, there is 2.5km of walkway. We didnt go into the club itself, but used the walkway only. So not sure even if we order anything,they will deliver. Lol. Google maps has it mixed up. Dude we didnt visit the place.

Great sporting facilities including pool and gym. Plenty of space to run around and play sports. There are a couple of playgrounds as well as a flying fox.

Excellent facilities and well maintained course. Not overly challenging but fun none the less. The green on the par 4 18th is eminently drivable. Great way to finish a round

Just a great park for a walk.

Good park for runners & Walkers. Have pool also. Very peaceful, track length is near about 2.6km

Best golf course in auckland, in summer there are 9 hole twilights also, has very good prizes. Greens are running pure about 11. Good couse overall. Amazing stuff. Also you get a playing passsport where you can play twice on lot of courses, awell get to play whitford park and the grange for free on weekdays for full playing members i give a 5.1 star rating;)

Whole lot of activity. Gym, from YMCA. Swimming pool Cameroon liesure centre. Gymnastics for young. Lovely atmosphere with lot parking space. Just walk and observe the pleasant surrounding.

Nice course. But under maintenance so didnt get to play the full 18 holes. Will have to try again when the course is back to full operation.

Beautiful venue for my brother's 21st perfect size for 40-70 people. Bar staff were lovely too
