V.Had an issue with malfunctioning equipment and the experience which can happen anytime. This situation was managed poorly by one of the staff on duty.
However the manager resolved this in a very professional manner. Happy to go back to use the range and book in for some lessons.
F.Great friendly service and problem solving from Alana and Bruce - two knowledgeable and approachable staff members. We had some issues with a new golf bag bought for my wife. The problem was quickly assessed and a solution in the form of a replacement bag was quickly sorted. All with friendliness and good advice.
A.I wasn't going to write about this as it happened many months ago, but it's been bothering me since then. I thought this would be a good heads up for groups wanting to come to the driving range.
My group of friends and I came here in January around noon to use the driving range. For some of us, it was our first time even golfing so they were very excited. While we were taking turns to use our bay in the driving range, we were all talking, chatting, and supporting each other at a moderate noise level.
As we neared the end of our session, an older European lady (I'm assuming she regularly comes to the driving range) approached us as she was leaving and firmly said to me "Hey. Do you see anyone else here talking? (proceeds to point to the all the other driving bays) Exactly." She then walks off and leaves.
I could've said something, but honestly I just stood there in shock because I've never had anyone say that to me at any driving range before. It was our first time here so we did not realize there was a rule that we had to keep our noise level down to the bare minimum. For such an amazing experience, it brought down the mood a bit.
If you're planning on coming as a group to the driving range to cheer your mates, laugh or chat a lot, this may not be the best place to come. But regardless, the facilities are amazing, parking is great and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful!
A.Good range, and I like the automation. Beware of maximum shot distance limits if the horses are about - you might not be able to use your longer clubs. The bays face into the morning sun so sunblock/hats may be necessary.
D.Its a nice driving range, staff are helpful and good experience. Only one issues is some people at the bays dont like people talking much, which is something the staff cant control. Ive had two incidents now with an elderly white lady saying “no one else is talking”. The staff are super nice however.
R.Had no idea they don't accept cash. Not on any signage.... maybe an idea..
They accepted my cash only just but I was made to feel like I was in the wrong??...
Maybe they could have been a bit more friendly 🤔.

R.This was a great place to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. They were relatively busy and there was a small wait for the driving range booths but the staff managed this well and communicated with the customers efficiently as to the wait time and when your allocated booth had become available.
If going as a group I would recommend going at a less busy time or sharing booths so the group doesn't get split up as the booths become available.

I was in contact with their management who seemed to genuinely want to make changes, and when I went back there had been major changes to their customer service.

Awful customer service. They're a busy store and feels like they know that they don't have to work for their patronage. Have been there multiple times. At best I'm greeted with a neutral expression, and at worst left feel like an inconvenience.
D.Always love coming here to work on technique, and with the added benefit of being able to use the Top Tracer system to see how I hit, it makes practice fun and insightful - rather than making a wild guess on your shot results
D.Their driving range is excellent, possibly the best in Akl. $10/50 balls, $16/100 balls! Their automatic tees are a dream & their TopTracer video tracking is top notch. I’m officially spoilt! It is a well maintained, small 9 hole course. Each hole is around 100-125 yards. Only $14/round. I go with a foursome and we can finishing 9 holes in under 2 hours depending on how many people are in front of us.

E.Great. Has a computer measuring facilities for each bay, although some bays may need calibration. Balls are mostly good. Staff is friendly. Some bay mats may need replacement.

S.Have bought a few items from them. Happy with what I got and what I paid. The driving range is always in good nick and the cubicles have ample space for a tall fella like myself. Bought lessons for my wife recently, will see how that goes. Overall a good place to practice your swing, chips and putts.
N.They've recently expanded to more bays and now its easy to get a spot. Reasonable prices, plenty to aim for, tracker seems to work fine.

A.A nice driving range with automated tee systems and swing speed measurements. In my opinion, the swing speed system is a novelty, which accuracy is about 50% at best. It got a good short game practice area, very handy for the people without proper golf club memberships. Also have a very short, very flat 9 hole, par 27, course. Their staff are more motivated to sell you new/latest clubs, set, or gear than not.
