Played 9th Dec 24. It's not anything fancy but! 5 stars! I felt so welcomed here. No nasty faces or comments just friendly people all over. From Brett manning the Recep to our playing partner, Hiong Dongge. Everyone were just greets and smiles and all that candy. The quality of the fairway were good enough not great but for what we paid, I can't complain. Very easy going course and quite challenging due to the crazy ups and downs of the fairways and so even with the cool air and darkish clouds, still was a workout. Players are mainly Koreans and locals I think. All timely too. Can't help but not give a 5 star for the human-welcome-feel that playing here gave me.

A pleasant club. Good layout. Would love to see more par 5s and I think a little bit pricy compared with other similar clubs but well worth the trip. Greens very consistent which was nice. Stay on the fairway!! Good putting and chipping greens to warm up.

Great golf club on the outskirts of Auckland city. It's very challenging, living up to it's name of Big Mountain. Not the best views from the course, but a good outlook across the Waitakere ranges from the club house.

Centrally Located in Auckland, great beautiful 18 hole course with a challenging front 9 holes and enjoyable back 9. Lots of natural wildlife and parrots add to a very nice day out

The place for functions if you are looking for one. The only issue we faced for two functions was the cheeky attitude of the head bar tender. Not only is he plain out rude, but he is obnoxious. The management should not have someone like him behind the bar in such a decent venue.

Course good club house a mess undergoing upgrade

Used a room at this venue for a training day. Room was light and airy. Facilities had everything I needed. An on site cafe meant noone needed to go off site at lunchtime.

I had my work do here and thought it was great. Lovely big carpark and nice club room venue that looks out onto the golf course which makes for a lovely sunset view while dining. Although I was abit disappointed that the buffet was not available throughout the night considering there is a bar open there should be food available whilst the bar is open.

Beautiful day today. The greens were great. Course is up and down. Could be wet in the winter but they are working on the drainage. Pretty this time of the year.

Lots of character variation with each hole. Challenges are there and course has some steep hills to climb and that can zap some of your energy. 😅 Not very forgiving when you hit off fairways as sometimes the ground will eat up your balls! 😂 Overall the fairways and greens has been maintained well. The food at the clubhouse is good but some type of beers can cost a bit more than expected!

First hand experience today, If you are a 60+ golfer like muah, recommend a golf cart like i did. Funny enough a very enjoyable challenging course. Dont try and beat the course. A good straight drive n approach to the greens i found got me a few pars missed birdie chances but all in all gr8 clubrooms and gr8 staff.I will only give it a 5 star if i get atleast one bird but thats 4 another day.😎🤨😁

The Rotary Club of Hillsborough, Lynfield & Mount Roskill meets twice monthly at the Golf Club and enjoys an evening meal and a few drinks before meeting to discuss the Club's business. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities spacious and comfortable, and the view out over the golf course and Auckland's western suburbs to the Waitakere Ranges is nothing short of spectacular.

A good and challenging golf course. There are 4 holes which tee boxes are intertwined each other. A bit confusing at the beginning but you'll get used to it.
