C.A beautiful and well maintained golf clubabout 40mins away from Auckland CBD.
All of 18 courses are authentic New Zealand view such as greens and ocean. Affordable green fee is an absolute benefit. All staffs are kind and club members are all lovely peoples make all visitors feel comfortable to play their games every visit.
R.Joined recently and cant say enough nice things about the course and the people who run it, and the members, who are friendly and welcoming to say the least . Special mention to Mike and Craig, and the Prez, Ross. In very good nick considering theres just one at most two greenkeepers. Exceptional maintenance. The par 3's are hard, and its a good walk. Love this course.
Y.Great course, both in terms of design/layout and maintenance! I have played most of the courses in the great Auckland region and this one is surely in the top 5, a variety of layouts based on the rolling terrain, a good combination of par 3 and 4s, breezes from the harbour so this is the course that will not only test your driving but also your mid to long irons, and of course your short game! The greens are probably the easiest part of the lot but i can imagine how fast the roll will be in the summer and therefore, there will not be any "easy" bit.
The club is very friendly and we were lucky to play with a junior member, he is such a good representation of the local culture, friendly and yet determined.
This course is located in a rather "remote" (took us almost one hour from downtown) area of Auckland but again this is absolutely the hidden germ. Highly recommended and will surely return again in the near future!
