Great course, doesn't get too wet in the winter and has an excellent layout. The second half plays harder but that may be just me.

Very enjoyable evening.The Venue itself was ideal for our group,however we did receive several comments re Quantity of The food v The Cost of $16.Thanks to Nicki behind the Bar who was Excellent.

Excellent golf course, really accommodating Pro Shop (Steve Moye resident Club Pro), and excellent Bar & Cafe (light finger food, cakes & savouries, hot chips etc). Very reasonably priced green fees ($45), generally very easy to book a time to suit (avoid Club Day Saturday morning through til about 1pm - outside those times on Saturdays no problems booking)

Top class golf course, good for weekend warriors or people that can swing a golf club, good 19th hole

Have to be if not the best, one of the best courses in Canterbury. Lots of bird song & no traffic noise. Challenging wide open tree lined fairways. A must play & very cheap green fees. Fully self contained motorhomes made welcome.

This course wasn't bad at all. Nice fairways an greens, abit of a challenge which makes for fun. The thing that got me was the price. I realize prices to play at courses in chch have gone up. But the price for this course is not justified. There are other courses that can match or out do this course an have cheaper green fees ( next door ) 4 stars for the course layout minus 1 for price

Although obviously open to debate, we would rate this as the most interesting of the parkland golf layouts in Christchurch - a golf course full of character, full of challenge and full of trees. Towering poplars, as well as mature birch, pine, eucalyptus and many other species line the fairways, sometimes tightly, other times less so. In some parts the terrain is gently undulating, with many fine dog-legging holes to be negotiated, as you make your way to the often small and excellent greens.

Having traveled from the uk I have to thank Steve for a great welcome to Waitkiri golf club. He found me great members to play with, sorted tee times and made me feel like I was playing at my home club. The course is in very good condition with a challenging lay out protected be well placed trees, the greens are good, and a nice pace to play on, excellent value and I would recommend playing here to anyone visiting the area .
