Stopped in for a walk around the Hamurana Springs that surrounds the Hamurana golf course today , it was okay but did need some maintenance done around the place

We had a lovely time watching the Rotorua lake and most of walking, very nice place to go biking with the kids or between friends

Popped in for winter lunch. What a pleasant surprise. A good menu selection, offering large meals of excellent quality. The best Pork Ribs ever. A compact, cosy restaurant with a nice wood fire. Situated by the 1st tee and 9th green giving a lovely backdrop to casual dining. A small bar and a coffee machine provide for most requirements. Situated across the road from the lake, the golf course is a 9 hole, with very reasonable green fees. The fanatastic Hamarana Springs are adjacent and are definitely worth a visit. All in all a great place to spend a few hours.

Don't know about the golf course...I don't play, but the food is divine and the staff are awesome, they're friendly, funny, efficient and helpful. Happy to recommend breakfast as well as lunch there. The Sunday entertainment is the best around too. Yay for HGC 👏👏👏

Great course, with plenty of places to ruin a days walk with a little white ball. Tony has done a fantastic job with new menus n the work around the place

Great 9 hole course, the first three holes offer great fairways to get into the swing of driving that little white ball as far as you can. There are a couple of challenging holes for beginners but once you have played a few rounds watch that score card number fall. In an amazing setting with lake views and running alongside a beautiful spring/river it's a awesome course to just play and enjoy your surroundings.

Beautiful walk and it doesn't cost anything. The tall trees are quite amazing and the spring is quite serene.

Great hidden gem. Was told about this place from a local....all these years and had never heard of it. Nice walk to the spring with a well laid out track and great viewing points. Nice and easy for the kids too.

GOOD BUGGERS!!!, friendly bunch and great food (get the platters), the course offers a challenge to most golfers, highly recommend

A walk around spring water and where it originates from. 15 minute walk and it is not for free. Adults around 18 NZ dollars. If you want a free track highly suggest Okere Falls free to walk the historical track 40 mins. Gushing spectacular water. They have rafting sessions at a cost.

A beautiful easy walk among the redwoods. Lots of great photo opportunities with the crystak clear water and wetland birds. Watch the tuis swoop over your head as you get around to the spring area. No swimmimg is allowed but instead enjoy spotting the trout as they swim along. We took our 4 year old and he loved it.

I really enjoyed playing a round of golf at Hamurana Gardens. The couple who run the club and manage the course are charming and very helpful. The course is only NZ$15 a round, the first few holes are straight forward, but then the last few holes are very challenging (and I have played some difficult courses in NZ, Europe and the UK). It is a 9 hole course, but if you enjoy your golf and like a challenge, I recomend the course. Great fun
