Different pool options with a big pool and hot tubs. Main pool cool enough for the summer months, bring shade during busy times. Big field with some great trees near the river for non powered sites. We loved finding the swimming hole at the river. The nights were soo beautiful and star filled but I found the wind picked up a lot at night.
The staff was very friendly and the store had some nice amenities and our daily ice cream fix.
L.
It was okay - unit could have been cleaner. Perhaps it had been empty for a while. Spider web and spider in bedroom and big dead moth fell on bed when I closed the curtains. Nice comfortable bed. Private spa nice but we found a lot of hair etc came into the water after turning on the jets. Suggest a good clean. Lovely environment with all the trees and tree ferns.

We had a great time. Thank you so much to be open for all and that kids and adults can enjoy being on holiday as it used to be and take a break from all the worries in the world.
The pools are amazing, the river refreshing, the bush walks adventurous and the staff super friendly and accommodating, especially Logan!
We will be definitely back soon.
You are amazing!!!
Thanks from Thomas & Family
C.
GREAT place to stay and what a lovely welcome!!
Would love to go again!!!
Thanks Jamal (sorry not sure how to spell your name), but you made us feel so welcome and I liked your humor!!!
All the best for you and hope you will stay in NZ for a long time!
You know how to look after "customers"!!!
Thankssss!!!

One of our TOP holiday parks so accommodating well kept grounds friendly owners plenty to do swimming holes, pools, bush walks and all on the grounds. Family friendly fun!! Non allocated camping some shaded areas if your in first.
I.
Great place for a family holiday. Variety of hot pools to swim and soak in as well as a cold steam with lots of water holes. Nice bush walks within the property and most of all Avery friendly stuff. Thanks for respecting peoples choices in these troubling times.
L.
The campground: good thing - it had vacancies during the prak season, so we could fit in. The downside - the playground is dull and dated, the only highlight being the trampoline. For young kids, I'd opt for the one by the pools which is great.
Pools: nice selection, layout and sizes. Downside: the nearest working toilets are a few hundred m away at the campground as those on facility aren't working due to maintenance. So I imagine all the kids who spend all day in the pool just pee in there, not great hygiene-wise. No proper showers, either.
J.
Amazing location immersed in the beautiful trees and bush. Plenty of spots for the kids to swim, whether it be pools or river. An ideal location to go 'offline' (internet coverage being somewhat limited.
G.
What a magical place! Plenty of swim heat options, cute playground, water slide... very affordable and love the little stream on the way there. We will be back 😊💦💦
K.
My family of 12 took a mini holiday and it was definitely one of the best places we have been together!! Great facilities and friendly helpful staff!! Kids loved the pools and we enjoyed the private spa pools as a great way to unwind at the end of the day. We will definitely be returning!! Thanks guys 😁
P.
Brilliant place for the family to stay. Campsite is clean, good facilities and staff are friendly. Plus, the pools are a huge bonus!
S.
Awesome, great camping, hot pools are great and the river holes really refreshing. We have a great first experience and will come back.
L.
I love going to this place very nice, tidy clean bbqs but would not recommend staying in cabin #5.I did not appreciate sitting on deck looking straight at all the garbage bins.bit gross n smelly when you are trying to eat or even just sit and relax...Im sure the owners wouldnt like it so im not sure why they think their guests would at $115 per night!
G.
Great stay, friendly staff nice clean pools bush walks are fun and sencic, happy to accpect dogs which is awesome and accpecting for all which is great thanks for the stay will be back
S.
Awesome, so good for kids, swimming in river water holes, hot pools, picnic areas, bush walks, campsite or day trip, lots of options
D.
Amazing place to camp with family.
Manager is a awesome host.
Very friendly and well run establishment
N.
Lovely place. Really well kept. Clean and tidy. And great surroundings.
J.
Management you rock👍🤩thanks for your pro choice acceptance and going out of your way to personally acknowledge my grandsons birthday. He keeps telling everyone Sapphire Springs is pro choice and sooo
were sowhete
T.
It is absolutely amazing 👏 😍. It is such a great spot for family activities. Will definitely be going more frequently.
B.
Real friendly staff. Nice and tidy grounds. An awesome relaxing experience
F.
Enjoyed our stay here. Accommodation was on point. We stayed in a cabin. The site went quiet approx 10pm good facilities, branh our own cooking gear anyway. Showers require $2 coins. Lots of families in the camp ground at the time. My first world complaint is super mild. The hot pools are not really that warm the spa is the temperature I had expected. We got over it of course and enjoyed the time we had there.
J.
Lovely hosts and great location with amenities. Perfect for family holiday
I.
Absolutely beautiful and relaxing. This is a little bit of Heaven right here on earth.
w.
I have been here on a few occasions. My children love it. There's spas, large sized cold pool with a slide and jumping platform, medium sized warm pool and a small pool (for parents and infants). Bbqs on site ($2 coin) with cooking utensils and cleaning items.
Reasonably priced for location. Always clean water. Not usually over crowded, even when there's a private function. Walking tracks, camp sites. Friendly, professional staff. My daughter had a birthday party here and organising it was reasonably easy.
If you're looking for a place to relax, have some lunch with the family and take a dip in a spa or pool. Don't hesitate to stop by and check it out. Beautiful scenery, easy location, definitely recommended.
P.
A great holiday park in a great location. Good services, plenty of options and a place that's great for families too.
J.
This is a great place to camp, the sites have ample space, and the lawn a perfect!!! The pools and ablutions are super clean and the owners make every effort to maintain it. The cleaners scrub the place everyday from top to bottom.
There is are some bush trails and a river with nice swimming holes if you like. We woke up every morning to the sound of flowing water and birds in the trees, making the experience even better!
The showers are paid ($2) but worth it as they are hot and have good pressure, but also because they are well looked after.
I noted that some complained about the workers that live here in season. But this is also part of a working farm, and these guys are very friendly and were keen to give a hand in the kitchen.
The owners are have done very well to make this campground a pleasure to stay at. The proximity to Katikati, the bird garden and even Tauranga, makes it a well placed spot.
Thank you for a great stay, we will be back.!!!
E.
Great little place, only stopped in for a swim in the pools with the kids but will definitely be back to take the kids camping
T.
Stayed 2 nights. 4 adults in two room apartment... plenty of room, comfy beds, friendly service. No internet available at present. Beautiful park like settings. 3km off busy main road. Would definitely stay again.
R.
We had a lot of fun here ... River, hot pools camping all good
L.
So that was awesome freindly staff huge pools nice and warm kid friendly
K.
What a hidden treasure! Have lived in both AKL and TGA and only recently found this beauty. 3 larger pools and 2 hot tubs all included in the very reasonable prices. We pitched a tent for $20 per adult, these guys are still realistic and fair on what a non-powered site should cost! Didnt use the main showers, but sure they are awesome too. Only thing I'd change would be having the hot tubs available until 10pm instead of 8pm. Dog friendly holiday park too :)
S.
Our group of ten enjoyed our stay immensely, thanks! Pools and surrounding area are well maintained, and they even have a volleyball net up. Rooms were very clean and tidy, and friendly helpful service too. If there was one suggestion we had, it was to put a privacy lock on the bathroom door, but we loved it and plan to be back!
T.
Awesome campground and springs. Staff have recently taken over and are super friendly, efficient and are doing big tidy ups.
The pools are lovely setting very clean and family friendly.
There's 2 hot tubs which are super warm/hot, then the other pools are varied temps, which is great to warm up or cool off.
Slides for the kids, bbqs nice grassed off area and clean changing rooms with 2toilets.
$2 charge for showers, and washing machines etc.
Good sized dining and kitchen with lots of hobs and sinks, microwave, oven big freezers and fridges.
Lots of awesome walks too ranging from 10mins to 1hr.
See old Kauris and a 500-600yr old puriri tree, which is HUGE.
Thoroughly enjoyed my 2nights there. Nice family camp, run really well.
Definately return in the future.
Thanks guys.
Tracy
e.
Beautiful spot, camping has a river going through. Very nice hot pools but I wouldn't stay there more than one night, facilities very dated, they charge you for showers no Internet, no dump station, so basically you are paying $24 dollars per person just for power. Lovely lady at the reception.
S.
Lovely people, awesome place, well set up, great for families.
M.
Nice walks,clear stream,awesome pool area
L.
A great location. Rustic and rural. We went as a group of girls in the evening for an evening spa and were very disappointed at the low heat of the advertised "38°" hot tub. Will give it another try when the water heats up
M.
The owners are extremely friendly and quick to resolve any issues.
We only had one which was our neighbour's thinking they were at Rythym and Vines instead of a family campground.
The owners were responsive and actioned it straight away. They reassured all other campers. I could not fault them if I tried.
Our first time camping in over 20 years and will definitely be booking this place again.
Pools are amazing, awesome bushwalks and the facilities are clean and well kept.
A massive shout out to the owners (sorry, I forgot your name). Keep doing what you guy's are doing and thanks for an awesome time!
(The Mcquillan/Smits family)
(We are still here at the time of writing, one day to go)
p.
Lovely spot up in the Kaimai bush. I've been going there for over fifty years...it's still a delightful spot...nice hosts good walks and excellent pools. Pity some campers had noisy brats.
Worth a visit tho....
S.
So good. A hidden gem. Casual atmosphere. The pools are nice and warm. Facilities are dated but very clean. You can take food and have a BBQ on site.
S.
An awesome place. The pools and bush walks are great. No cell service which is ever better because no one can track you down
L.
Nice Hot tubs, good price 😎☺️
L.
I'm very hesitant to share my rating here as it's so enjoyable. Wouldn't like it to get too crowded. Only negative is $2 charge for a shower...but good showers. The heated pools have now been added to with 2 hot tubs within the main pool complex...please stick to 15 mins...you can always cool down in another pool and come back for more. The facilities are Very family friendly but keep an eye on the kids as there's a river as well as the pool complex and no lifeguard.
J.
Nice setting and lovely pool. As a family we often come out for a day's swimming.
This time we camped for 2 nights. Facilities were fine. The camp site was not level so very difficult to put our tent up. We rolled down the bed all night. There was very little grass on it too, so dirt got everywhere. There is a cockcroach problem in the kitchen.
My husband packed up the tent and I took the kids for a swim. He went over time packing so they growled us for still being at the pool past 10am. Bit over the top if you ask me. We had just paid to stay all weekend. I've never had that at a motor camp before. Usually they're more than happy for you to have a swim after pack down. Not the friendliest people.
S.
Lovely atmosphere. Awesome pools
J.
Wonderful relaxing beautiful place to spend a few delightful days. Fourth year in a row for me. Friendly considerate staff who maintain the cabins, motel units and camp sites and swimming pools, as well as all the grounds, in immaculate pristine condition. Don't miss out. Come and enjoy. A+++
S.
Love this place for camping. We had a powered site over new years with kids ages from 5 to 14 and all the children had a ball. The river was possibly the favorite part it's just a fresh safe area for kids to swim. One downside was that the main pool during the busy season got quite disgusting but management soon closed it to be cleaned.
R.
Had great time with kids (2 & 7yrs). With 3 pools to choose from, all slightly heated but not too hot. Lots of seating areas for picnic etc. Price is affordable & well worth it. Took short bush walk through the park, there are longer walks also available, great lil adventure crossing streams & walking along river.
D.
Not the warmest of pools. Cheap price tho. Clean.
A.
I would recommend their hot pools (never tried their accommodations). Public one was nice and clean. Private one not as sparkling but at least it's indoor, good choice for rainy day. Bit small, would be ideal for 2 people max; 40 minutes and you need to get out for fresh air. But it's quite cheap for private pools. It even has jacuzzi-style bubbles.
t.
We stayed in the motel rooms over Easter and had an excellent time. The room was clean and the showers hot, the room had everything we needed and the staff were very accommodating getting us a spare bed for our youngest and setting it up. We used the pools daily and will definitely be back to camp over summer. It's such a family friendly place and worth what you pay.
T.
Great thermal pools in a lovely setting. Didn't get time to check out the nature walks or swimming holes in the river, so will definitely be going back to check them out. Only downside was there were no shower facilities for use with shampoo/body wash for after your swim.
G.
We stopped to look and when the kids decided to swim i went to pay but they charged for 2 non swimming adults too. At about 4.30pm I thought was a bit spiteful. But the pool and spa were very nice and the place very clean. Accommodation looks nice too.
R.
Review of the Motel units. 'OK' is a perfect word to describe this place. You can tell that the motel units have been recently refurbished but this has been done in a very low cost, minimalist cheap way. A sofa for two didn't seat all four of us. The kitchen could have been better equipped and the equipment that was there is clearly the cheapest money can buy. The motel building is constructed using thermal blocks which have been painted so it feels at times that you're in a prison cell but they have tried to brighten the rooms up with nice pictures. We were there for a week and were very surprised that our unit was not serviced at all in that time, nor towels changed. We felt they should have been changed at least once in that time.
The outside area was nice with a couple of chairs provided and some shared picnic tables, though our final three days were spoilt by a chain smoker next door whose smoke meant we didn't open our windows or door.
The thermal pools were great for the kids and the BBQ area spacious. We enjoyed the bush walks in the park and we found the staff to be very friendly. Overall therefore we had a good time and the units were comfortable enough and fair value for the cost but ideally we'd pay a little more for something better.
K.
This is a very well-organised and well maintained holiday park that has everything you could possibly want or need. There are a range of different sites, powered and unpowered, enjoying a peaceful rural/bush view.
We got a spot in the lower powered site area right next to the meandering river and a fab wee swimming hole underneath some beautifully shady trees. The river water is clear, clean and cools you off in the heat of a summer’s day.
The ablutions and facilities are clean and highly functional. The showers are $2, which is more expensive than most, but they have excellent pressure and temperature. You get ten minutes before the water reverts to cold. The kitchens are super clean and organised, and the cooking facilities looked near new. If you’re doing your dishes, don’t forget your tea towel. Everything else is provided. There are three washing machines and two dryers. A wash is $4, and everything dried lickety-split in the hot BOP sun!
The best part of this camp is the access to the tepid pools and hot tubs. There is a children’s play area, a BBQ shelter, and three different swimming pools to have a dip in. Access to these pools is included in your camp fee, which is $22 per adult per night for a powered site; $18 for a non powered site. NZMCA members get $2 discount per person per night. Excellent value, I reckon.
Very much enjoyed our stay here. It felt relaxed but also very organised. We will be back again!
D.
Beautiful setting and family friendly atmosphere
V.
Nice place, new management is great. Really starting to keep the place under control. Only downside is some people who stay or visit and treat it like a rubbish dump. But that's the people not the staff. Had a great holiday
N.
Beautiful location...calm n peaceful..hot bath and swimming pool were amazing...kids loved it. A stream running next to it adds to its charm.
J.
Great place to get away to, lots to do for the kids. Pools are great. Camp area has really good sized sections. Beautiful views next to the river.
S.
Beautiful surroundings and scenery. Great for kids to swim and adults to soak in the got tubs.
M.
Me and my family had an awesome day there. Looking forwards to celebrate my grandson's birthday in the next few months.👍
J.
A very tired holiday destination, not what we were expecting. No lighting near our campsite.Hot tub was cool at 7.30pm but pools were lovely.Childrens playground was so old & needs revamping.Grounds & river were really nice
C.
First impressions of this complex were very good, and I continued to be impressed. The cabins and units have all been renewed and were spotless. All up to date and of a high standard. Beds and bedding, carpets, drapes, etc. all new. The grounds and surrounding bush are beautiful. The man at reception was most helpful. I highly recommend.
M.
I'm almost loathe to leave a review as I'd love this hidden gem to remain exactly that - hidden! If you are looking for an idyllic, peaceful spot to camp or just for a day trip, you've found it. 20 mins north of Tauranga or South of Waihi, sapphire springs has something for everyone.
Beautiful, warm pools for all ages (including 2 new hot tubs). Theres a water slide and diving block that kept our 9 year old amused for days, a warmer soaking pool and a warmer toddler pool. Covered Bbq area ($2 coin operated). Well maintained grounds (no prickles!!!) and basic changing rooms / toilets with an outdoor rinse shower (cold). There's also a kids play area.
The camp grounds are spacious with powered and un-powered sites. The trampoline and mini golf were a hit with the kids. Some basic essentials are available to buy at reception, or theres a supermarket 10 minutes up the road in Katikati. Bring mozzie repellant against the sand flies.
Showers are $2 coin operated for 6 mins.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING ALL YOUR OWN KITCHEN EQUIPMENT. There are no communal pots, pans, cups, cutlery etc. Not even a cloth to wipe down benches. This is where the rating went to 4* instead of 5. There are cooking hobs, zip hot water, lots of fridge space but no cupboards. There's also a free bbq for campers.
The whole area is surrounded with native bush walks and a beautiful river.
On the whole it is a gorgeous place to either relax or have adventures. Great for kids though toddlers would need to be closely supervised due to the camp backing onto the river.
Staff were happy and helpful.
If there was any room for improvement, it would be having at least some kitchen equipment, and not having to pay extra to swim after check out on your last day if you have stayed a few nights.
R.
Absolutely brilliant place we love it
Y.
Everything is new. Ignore all old bad reviews
Brand new kitchen, toilets, cabins. Bosnue of sky tv. The park is huge and ofcourse pet friendly. The thermal pool is very big and water is so warm. There are 3 pools for toodlers, kids and adults. After the pool you can soak in the hot tub. BBQ, laundry, hot showers available at extra cost. Only 2.5hours from Auckland. Highly recommended. Plenty of spots to swim in the river too. NOTE: There is no dumb station currently onnthe park.
B.
Overall excellent holiday park, access to hot pools with accommodation is a nice bonus.
My only gripe is that the showers are coin operated AND limited to 5 minutes. Having one or the other is fine, but both feel like a bit of a rip off.
G.
Sapphire Springs met, rather than exceeded, my expectations. The staff were friendly. Facilities in the camping field were quite basic, and showers cost extra.
The pools were nice but could really do with some shade.
r.
Had an amazing day there two days ago. Pools have been recently painted and the grounds are immaculate. Water temp perfect.Price relatively cheap comparatively. BBQ area immaculate and perfect place for the whole family to enjoy. A+++++
E.
Lovely place to take the kids, I spent more time in the water than them.. lots of fun and has a bbq on site to cook along with tables to eat at.
J.
I stayed in a Motel Unit. The owners have done an awesome job of renovating these units. Was clearly a lot of thought gone into the layout and furnishings chosen. Very nice staff on check in and easy gate and room access with the security/ room key. Would recommend a visit!
S.
Thanks to the new owners for a nice stay away from home, found this little gem its old skool motels decent inside but definitely worth it soaking in the spas etc. We will definitley return in the future.
N.
Great place to take family for the day. Pools are lovely temp. Loved exploring the nearby stream with our kids. Good bbq facilities & sheltered area. Be better once broken bbq is fixed. Only gripe is having the charge/entry fee for babies & toddlers. Most under 5's can't swim & dont get in or aren't in long at all, so charging full price is quite steep. Other than that, its a nice place to go
R.
Traditional BIG swimming pool (but geothermally heated water) with big grassed area around it. Undercover BBQ area and picnic tables by the pool. Also a warmer soaking pool and toddler's pool. Forest walks. Glowworms by the stream. Lovely stream wuth stones for little explorers and budding dam-builders. LOTS of camping space. Clean facilities. Well-managed. GREAT for a family day out or camping holiday. Small dogs are allowed at the camping area, though they are not allowed through the main gate which leads to the pool area and forest. Highly recommended.
J.
Great spot! Brought our children for a night in July. Did the bush walk then a hot swim in the pools. Showers had awesome pressure and the staff were super friendly.
N.
I used to go to this place when I was a kid and I was pleasantly surprised when I visited there a couple of years ago to see that it hasn't changed much. I love the private spa, there are cabins to stay or caravan and tent spots. It's quite, has good cooking and shower facilities. Rates are very reasonable.
A.
3 heated pools & 2 hot tubs surrounded by nature are great.
Accomodations/ 2 bed rooms motels are very standard.
J.
Enjoyed another great week camping here with family and friends. Great facility's nice clear river to swim and play in. Nice bush walks in the area and the pools are well mantianed, and the two new hot tubs are a plus.
L.
last visited in 1968
Great to see the developments and nice to speak with the manageress and hear the plans for the properties future.a great soak after perusing the waihi classic car events
Wishing you all the best

I arrived with 4 grand daughters, all so excited to be spending time at this lovely place recommended by a friend. We checked in and a young woman gave me the key. She was VERY UNFRIENDLY and UNHELPFUL! Straight away our visit got off on the wrong foot and it spoiled our whole experience. The unit was great and the kids had a ball....but I was reprimanded for not getting dark towels for use in the pools....when I checked in. The young woman who checked me in didn't offer them...then she snarled at me for not asking for them. She never once smiled the whole time we were there....nor did she offer any local knowledge.
We paid to use the spa pool and the kids were hot after 20mins so I asked if we could split our time in the spa. She said NO WE GET BUSY!
We were the only people in the units...there wasn't any sign of life in the whole complex.
They have 2 spas and no one used them! I was more than happy to pay to use the lovely hot spa...but kids get hot and bored and surely it isn't a big deal to let the kids have 2 half hour dips instead of one hour. No goodwill here!!
She had a baby so I guess she was tired...but not a good look in the hospitality business. The park is wonderful and the newly refurbished motel style units were perfect for us.
It is a magic spot with lots to keep kids busy.
R.
I just came here as a visitor to spend the day with family who are staying. Is a friendly place. Service was awesome. Kids are enjoying the pools till they tire. Affordable and relaxing. Thanks for today😊
S.
Stayed in november then again in january. Owners have done the place up. Nice and clean. Not too busy and with no 2 night minimun stay suits us well with work commitments. Good value for money and nice bush setting.
R.
Great place to go camping ,lots to do and the pools and near by stream were very enjoyable. The showers and kitchen facilities were very clean and tidy .I have been there twice and can't wait to go back cheers .
L.
I came to leave a good review and I am flabbergasted at the previous review left, we stayed for four days over Easter and had an amazing time, amenities were cleaned twice a day, there was a group from Vanuatu doing kiwifruit work (but also many many other people), lovely lovely people, they were quite shy but as soon as you talk to them they chat away, great to hear how far they have come rebuilding their country after the cyclone! The owner had said they had the same group for about 9 years and were like family (they stay for 12 weeks to work in the kiwi packhouse before returning home), there were couples and a mixture of men and ladies who are away from home and away from their families to try and better themselves and come to NZ to get treated with horrible comments like that?! I can’t believe how disgustingly racist that comment is, Did you feel unsafe purely because of their skin color? Because they in no way acted in an intimidating manor.
You make no mention of the group of German and European backpackers also doing the “farm” (kiwifruit work) why, because they are white? The Germans seemed to get on really well with them and one of the days they were all playing volley ball together.
We have two children and will be back over Christmas, never once felt unsafe, quite the opposite, staff seemed to be very in control of the comings and goings of the place!
The owners/staff were very friendly and seemed very willing to help people, cannot imagine them being rude unless you were doing wrong? And with such a nasty racist review I’m assuming that would be the case.
Keep up the good work Sapphire Springs, places like this are becoming a rarity!
V.
Lovely place! Went here for a short swim. Water was warm and clean. Will definitely going back!
K.
Quaint and quirky place. Loved camping under the trees and having bush around us. Awesome pool complex and bush walk. Amenities average
R.
Beautiful grounds surrounded by big trees. It was all well looked after - clean and fresh. The warm pools were terrific with plenty of space.
S.
Wonderful campground with awesome staff
L.
No animals allowed, looks nice. Campervan was not allowed down to pools, so we left.
c.
I no a lovely eldery couple that were there a week ago . The house theyre building was taking a while so they approched the rude women at reception to ask for another 3 weeks extention. th before they could ask they got yelled at that they needed to be out by 12pm and it was after that. They were so abusive the lovely older lady left in tears and moved onto another camp site. Sad as these rude people are partners in this business and by the look of the reviews they are not doing this place any favours I wouldnt be able to sleep at night having partners like that killing my business.😈😈😈
L.
Loved the combination of bush, river, shade trees and hot pools.
Super friendly staff.
F.
An amazing place to bring a BBQ and have a swim. Great for kids. Lovely hot spas too.
J.
We went there to use the pool area only. The pool area is beautifully set up, the water is slightly warm. The changing rooms are disgusted, they stink of urine and had rubbish in them.,
N.
New owners were very friendly and accommodating. Nice site with well maintained amenities. Warm pools were an added bonus, great value in a tranquil location, would recommend.
R.
Had a great time here ,it a real gem .Pools were great weather not so much ,people there were very nice it the jewel in the crown of Kati Kati . lots to do close to town but far enough away to be peaceful . perfect place to have fun
V.
Great break away over Christmas. Good facilities, great price for camp site. Have rebooked for this Xmas.
T.
Family friendly, well maintained facilities. My 5 y/o son had a blast. Caught up with friends and family on a random note. And was also invited to a bbq feed from family. Most "DEFINATELY" a 5/5.
A.
Love this place... so laid back... good as vibes... favorite pools ever
S.
This is a really well looked after venue! Kids had a wonderful time. Great spot to come rain or shine ☀️☔😊
A.
Great place to spend the day with a large group of people. Includes BBQ, pools, bush walks, river & volleyball net.
C.
Sapphire Springs is always a joy to go too. Very relaxing and the pools are and extra bonus. Greta area in general to visit!
t.
Beatiful setting. Wifi didnt work but the pools are lovely. The motel units are old but well renovated.
V.
Hot pools good. Changing rooms basic. Expensive to stay in camp ground.
A.
Amazing place, clean and tidy facilities, lovely staff and awsome pools
C.
Cost effective. Great facilities and our port of call from Tauranga. Our kids live it... the pools and the fresh river are incredible in the summer heat.
N.
We came here for Chrismas day and ended up staying 2 nights. Just love it here. Will definitely come again
M.
My overall experience was just perfect : nice reception, nice pools, nice guests, nice kitchen atmosphere, ...
I lost my car keys during my stay and got so much help from the owners and from other guests.. Thank you!
s.
Was really busy today but always worth the drive out there. Nice big cool pool and good bbq facilities.
M.
This is a lovely place to go to for a barbecue or a picnic lunch. The swim is lovely too. We go there frequently. Love it.
R.
Beautiful setting and great facilities at the motor camp. Love the pool and bbq area too.
l.
Nice tidy clean motel unit. Friendly helpful staff. The hot pool and spa are great. Would stay again.
S.
Lovely spot, unfortunately the sewerage can get pretty foul. Hopefully something they can work on to fix it.
H.
Awesome place, great BBQ facilities and hot pools.
W.
Lovely location. Nice pools for the whole family. Well managed and maintained
H.
Lovely pools and SPA, staff were very helpful

Lovely pools, warm, not too hot, bring your own pool toys, plus hot spas to warm up in. 5 stars
