Reviews of Levin Golf Club
I.Awesome views of Tararua mountains in peaceful rural setting. Well kept fairways and fast greens. I highly recommend a visit.

H. M.Levin Golf Club is quite a pretty course. The course itself is very flat, lots of tree lined fairways and plenty of bunkers, but no real water hazards to speak of. Quite expensive for a rural course ($40 for non-affillated players). Visitors are welcome. The course was in very good order and tge facilities are well maintained. It's a great local course for those in the Horowhenua, but not really worth the trip up from Wellington.

T. M.My favourite golf club on the coast. Beautiful setting, they've got the distances of holes just right, especially for mid to high handicappers. Back nine going into the par 3 far corner is a stunning part of the course. Friendly club members and pro shop reception most welcoming.

G.Quite a drive from State Highway 1 north of the township of Levin. Tucked away not far from Hokio Beach is Levin Golf Club. Quite an old establishment buildings house the clubhouse, bar, proshop & changing rooms. There is also a lovely covered patio with views over the first tee & 18th green.
I think I had gone to heaven when I played this course. My daughter caddied for me & we played off the competition tees which were challenging on some holes, but others, quite easy considering there was no wind on this day. The scenery is quintessentialy New Zealand parkland. The half millennia old trees, the bird life, & the fresh in tainted air is worth the green fee on its own.
I had a quick chat after my round with some of the hardy weekday warriors & they were all very convivial & friendly.
Would play here whenever in the region.
I suppose it's not a well kept secret now....
Was sad I didn't have time to do it all again.
