Lovely setting, the course was in pretty good condition and I thoroughly enjoyed playing the course. The only downsides, no cell coverage and the green staff were mowing the greens in front of a 60 golfer tournament field...not useful

Always play this sweet course on our golf trips to Wellington. Situated in a beautiful valley. A great mix of holes and amazing shades of green blanketing the surrounding hills in this valley.

Really nice course tucked away. Holes laid out nicely so even if it is busy it doesn't feel it. It's not pga quality but you can't expect that for a course like this. Definitely good bang for your buck, highly recommend

Best course in Wellington. Great staff and a really nice atmosphere. The course is forgiving with a couple of real challenges to keep you on your toes. Not as busy as other courses which I prefer. I paid $25.00 on Grab One which was great value. I will definitely go back.

While it is a bit of a drive to get there, Wainuiomata Golf Course is a good course with a variety of challenging holes. From a chance for a hole-in-one on some of the Par 3s to some of the longest Par 5 holes in the region. The course itself is kept in excellent condition. There is also a very nice clubhouse. Prices are reasonable with $35 for affiliated players to play 18 holes ($40 for casual players). If you are a keen golfer is defunitely worth checking out this course.

Lovely people running the kitchen. Had a chicken cheese n cranberry panini was the best ever. They only open at the weekend check it out.

Hard to beat for value, down to earth vibe and challenging/interesting holes. It’s a country course so keep expectations realistic. Punches well above it’s weight and has super friendly staff.

Played it last in February 2018, they have had an issue with their greens, if I had based my rating on previous visits it would have been higher but the greens dropped it a star. Good test of golf.
