R. P.Lovely place to go for dinner on a friday night. $20 buffet, and boy was there plenty of food. And very well made. From fish,pork, beef hot veges salads, homemade buns and Yorkshire pudding. Yum is all I can say. Ooh and back for seconds. Opens at 6. Nice view to the golf course. We were only visiting so not members but still welcome. Totally recommend. Lovely people too. Bar staff were so nice.

G. G.I enjoyed my day play golf and also enjoyed the 19 hole. The staff treated my friends and myself very well. Even though I lost 1 ball in the round the greens were very good the the fairways when you are on them very fast. A pitty the sun has baked the grass. I would be asking the local council if you could use the gray water from there waist treatment station.

S. B.What a course, I played after a couple of days torrential rain. Fairways were dry and the greens were fantastic. We'll done the green keeping team.
Favourite green would be hole 7, some serious undulations. Favourite hole, no 14, made for a slicer.
Love the menu on hole 9, so you can send your order through and pick up at the Pro shop.
Staff were very helpful.
Would definitely recommend playing here.

W. -.Mangawhai Golf Club: In the developing seaside resort of Mangawhai Heads, lies one of New Zealand's hidden gems, a golf course which is growing in popularity and stature. The front and back nines loop out-and-back from the clubhouse, both containing a marvellous run of four holes that take you into some natural "wilderness" areas. Sea views are limited to a brief glimpse at the 12th and 18th back-tees, but the excellent layout, undulations and naturalness of the course are in themselves quite a feast for the eye.
