D.Why was it excellent? Where do I start? We were greeted by the lovely Sue and Coco at the beginning of our weekend getaway, and Sue's outgoing personality set the tone for the whole weekend. The gardens are amazing! We were given a guided tour by Sue and Coco and even got to take home some fresh fruit from the trees! We were provided with a cheese board, bubbly, a lovely 2 course dinner and a home cooked breakfast. Sue and Coco kept us company all weekend and nothing was too much of a bother! The rooms were so lovely and filled with exotic treasures. There was so much to do an see, such a unique experience! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a relaxing night away. Sue really goes above and beyond for her guests and she's a great laugh! We had such a fantastic weekend. Thank you so much for your hospitality Sue, Coco and Gary, I truly did enjoyed my stay.
M.We had the most wonderful afternoon hosted by Sue and Gary at Oak lane lodge. The setting under the trees is magical. We were lucky enough to have the house and grounds to ourselves to explore. The kids (and adults alike) loved seeking out the birds, sculptures hidden in the garden, and just taking in the gardens themselves. Had a delicious lunch set out on tables under the trees. Spent the rest of the afternoon around the pool… divine! Thanks so much Sue, such a memorable day x
A.Little slice of heaven!!! We spent the night at Oak Lane Lodge. What an enchanting house and an incredible garden with the most beautiful trees. If you are looking for a house full of period character features and a quiet getaway, I would highly recommend Oak Lane Lodge.
Sue and Gary were fantastic hosts and could not spoil us enough. The food was outstanding, the rooms and bathrooms clean and tidy and the beds very comfortable.
We would def be visie again!
I.We had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with friends hosted by Sue and Gary. What a magnificent place from the moment you drive in to be in awe of the splendid oak trees and then emerge into a peaceful oasis of a well laid out established garden. Sue and Gary were the perfect hosts the food was lovely the setting picture book perfect and the weather also was in harmony . we will be back and recommending to all our friends
E.Loved our weekend getaway under the generous hospitality of Sue at Oak Lane Lodge. Gorgeous surrounds, areas to relax and unwind, wonderfully cooked breakfasts and baking, with thoughtful and timely drinks on the side. Very friendly hosts and of course Coco (the dog) made an anniversary weekend very special. Recommended!

Sue will spoil you with her home bakes and food. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again. Family friendly, kid safe and relax environment.
L.Absolutely smitten with this place, a hidden treasure with history and mystic woven through every aspect. From arrival beneath an infinite canopy of oddly shaped oak trees that seem to dance and sing welcome, to the warm, understated yet proud charm of the homestead - Oak Lane won our hearts. Many thanks to our hosts who reflect the energy of the property beautifully. Looking forward to our next visit- asap!
w.We spent the night after our wedding here in the cork room, was amazing and very private area with out looks over fantastic farm land.
The breakfast was Devine the following morning.
The property is stunning with amazing mature trees, sculptures and gardens.
The host is very accommodating around each and everyone's needs.
C.We loved our stay at this historical homestead. The glamour of a bygone era in the spacious buildings and grounds. Lovely room with ensuite, and a thoughtful hostess. It had a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of room to find a quiet private spot to relax in one of the reception areas or out by the pool or in the generous gardens.
S.Stayed here while visiting family. Couldn't have asked for any better. A beautiful homestead in a peaceful garden setting, but only 5 min from a town centre. Relaxation in a completely different world. Sue was wonderful and extremely accommodating.
