Reviews of Mount Maunganui Golf Club

4th March 2019. Nice resort style course with very friendly staff and members. I'm envious of the folks whose homes border the course and just roll their trolleys to the Starters for a round. There's junior golf that afternoon - great to see the next generation of kiwi golfers coming up. Member recommended we drive up the peninsula and we had the extra bonus of great ocean side views and nice dinner.

The course is in an immaculate condition. Fairways are nice and lush, and the greens are running fast but true. 👍👍

Went for a quick 9 holes with a buddy, was really great out there, friendly support staff, 😊

Very slow waiting for ten minutes on tee boxes Fairways very nice.

Pleasant course, not most scenic though.

Excellent Golf Club. Immaculate greens & great lay out. The Professional’s shop was inviting & the pro very helpful. Service second to none. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Thank you for a good day.

Great presentation, good greens and a beautiful day too...

The Mount, as this excellently maintained parkland course is often called, comprises three very attractive 6-hole loops. There is a certain uniformity in the design, with each of the loops heading east for three holes, before turning back with three westerly-facing holes that return you to the modern and impressive clubhouse. This uniformity does not however imply monotony - far from it.

I'm learning Golf and loving the fresh air too.

Can't speak highly enough of Anna, Vicky & their team. We had our wedding reception there. We dealt with Anna to begin with from our home in Australia, and she was patient with our demands and schedule even though we were unable to see the venue first hand. We when arrived a week before our wedding, yet again she was relaxed to my on edge pre wedding nerves. But her and Vicky helped to relive my fears as they explained just how they had it all under control. The new recipe we asked them to make was tested. The room looked beautiful, and the view... The drinks perfectly organised and both non drinkers & drinkers enjoyed the punch. They had no issue with us bringing our own cake and wedding cheese tower. The day was a delight, and thanks to the team at the golf club the day ran perfectly smoothly. The food was amazing, the pekopeko a true delight and even now 1 month later people still talk about that amazing Salmon, the chicken so tender... I could go on. From the bottom of our hearts Kirsty & I thank you so much for making the day extra wonderful

The course in general is in average condition: the Club needs to do better?

Interesting but challenging course, good pro-shop and Club facilities

Great location, ample parking space, great service. Bartender Luke was awesome, customer service was excellent and so were the drinks he was making/serving.
