R.2 courses, Centennial very good. Taupo nice easy course. Great pro shop staff and bar ladies very friendly. Nice view from deck over looking course on 19th.
H.Absolutely love Taupō Golf Club. Everyone has made me feel very welcome since my family and I arrived 2 months ago. A very proactive club looking to build equality in the game and boosting junior golf by having free membership for any junior under 16 in Taupō.
G.Taupo Golf Club has two courses- Tauhara, shorter and and the cheaper of the courses and more suited to the casual golfer, and Centennial, longer and more challenging, especially off the blue tees! I've played both in the past and enjoyed them both but today I played Centennial both because I wanted to get around it again and it was far less busy than Tauhara with holiday golfers.
I joined 2 members for the front 9. Bill and Wayne were in their 60's I think and a pleasure to play with. We all found our way around the course on our own different ways proving that the course is challenging to all golfers but also open to being played on different ways. The greens were in great nick despite being recently cored so I was told, and were running at a nice speed and running true. The scenery is fantastic as well. I liked the welcome I got from the pro shop to Bill and Wayne whom I met on the 1st tee. I'll definitely be back in Taupo again this year and I'll be coming to Centennial for another round too- I definitely recommend it.
PS I especially enjoyed the 9th hole, a real looker off the tee.
T.We took the boys, teenagers on a bit of a golf trip. We played rangitikei which was exceptional, turangi which was outstanding. And then we played centennial.
So centennial was pleasant. But you wonder about price gouging, a topic frequently in the news, based on tourism or supply and demand.
Why was a the same cart at centennial $60, but $25 at Rangitikei and $25 at turangi. At least the others supplied a clean cart.
Green fees for the fifteen year old we bought with us $70 at centennial but only $15 and $20 at the others.
The course was lovely, it not as well groomed as the other two.
It’s a lesson.
R.My sister and I had a game at Taupo Golf Club 7.30 Tee💥Lovely morning 18 holes and very hungry. So upstairs for Breakfast a snack with Latte and then a big Breakfast as you see we had a Great time ..Thank you so much. We'll be back..Oh the shop was spot on..I bought myself 3 Golf shirts..😍💕

J.Very decent course, front was tough but back played well with some interesting holes. Par 16 & 17 were very rewarding. Fast greens, had to land in front or they would roll on through. People were nice and staff were excellent. With playing
S.First trip to Taupo Golf Club and as a family we played foot golf. The course is set up for this however as you play parallel with some of the normal golf holes warnings wouldn't go amiss. Twice we were almost hit by golf balls.
As a course it is challenging, par 5s are really long when kicking a ball.

A.Normally enjoy playing Centennial course but have to say we were very disappointed in the state of the fairways...not only big bare patches of bare ground, but also very rough, giving some horrendous bounces. Hope you can get it sorted as its current state would not encourage us to return. Very sad as not at all what it's been in the past.
r.Not expensive and in good condition. A challenge as usual.very sandy and a lot of run.really a great country course when compared to its competitors wairakei and kinloch
F.Excellent golfing facility with two 18 hole courses side by side. Great staff in pro shop and the cafe. Plenty of playing opportunities for golfers of all abilities.
J.I love the Taupo Golf Club. 2 courses to choose from. Centennial is a championship course, long and a challenge. A typical landscape of the area. Good driving range and practice facilities.
S.Located next to the lakeside holiday resort of Taupo, this is a wonderfully natural and well layed-out parkland course. Although you won't see Lake Taupo from the course, the surrounding rural countryside provides some very pleasant views, as and when you can look beyond the tree-lined fairways, where tall eucalyptus and pines are interspersed with smaller trees of many varieties.
H.Great little playground. Good spot to walk the dogs and for kids to ride bikes
B.Had a great round on Centennial Course. It is a nice place to play. Like most courses it is a bit dry but the greens are ok.
