C.wow! What a lovely place,been a bucket list to play for years,got a 60th present in 2021,got to use feb 2022.
I would suggest arriving about 45mins early ,as you have have unlimited driving range balls to hit to warm up,though we only used one tray.
views are amazing,not a hard course if you manage yourself well,temptation can hurt,I did not play great but my son shot a 74,best score ever,everything just went great,a pleasure to watch.
The shop has good momento products,we may save up and go again next year.If it is a bucket list and you play once ,then do it! and enjoy
X.This is a beautiful golf course and the wildlife Sanctuary makes it a very unique and beautiful place to play golf. The staff are great friendly and helpful. The facilities are great. I love the driving range and practice and warm up areas. Highly recommend it. I loved it and played a total of 9 rounds in 2 visits.

I do not understand how you can be so amazing re the gold and so awful on the food - burgers are frozen beef Patties, onion rings are frozen, squid rings were frozen. Caesar salad used powdered Parmesan and mixed lettuce (where is the cos!).
Pick you game up guys. $240 for a round I get but not the food.
S.Can't say enough good things about this course. It is presented in immaculate condition every time. The course is set up perfectly for golfers of all abilities and every hole is separate challenge.
J.Amazing course, super peaceful, high class and always treated really well. Tough walking track, make sure you are fairly healthy. Greens are not great right now but the discounted rate helps. Outstanding practice facilities for driving range, chopping, sand and putting. Absolutely one I'd my favorites or of the 50 courses I have played so far here in NZ.
M.Emaculate course lined with trees & excellent practice facilities with a driving range that stretches back into the hills. Wairakei is a good test with plenty of interesting holes all with strategically placed bunkers & water carries. Greens roll good & true with large & suttle breaks that are sometimes hard to spot. This course is absolutely stunning & full of wildlife. Staff were friendly & helpful, food good & beers cold. Not expensive at all, would love to come back again & would recommend to all to have a round here, very enjoyable.
L.The only lowlight was the heavy rain when we played on 8th March 2019 . Staff kindly provided towels for us to dry ourselves and our clubs. Layout wasn't very difficult so allowed us to enjoy the scenery and wild fowls even as we sat out the rain.
O.Amazing place. I wish to come back soon. Absolutely beautiful golf course. I don't remember enjoying my golf time this much.
G.This course is absolutely stunning. It's easy to see why it is known as the Augusta of the Southern Hemisphere. The holes are beautifully laid out and the course is in superb condition. Gone to Number 1 on my favourite courses list.

G.As a member I enjoy world class golf all year round. The bunkers could do with a bit of work though - the matting is just a millimetre under the sand in some cases and this causes a very unpleasant experience if your club gets caught in it.
Y.What a great challenge this course was, in top pristine shape, the surrounds was just sublime. Felt like we entered into something out of Jurassic park, everything felt lush and green and natural - the wildlife was just brilliant, heart missed a beat when the deer family appeared on the 18th.
This course certainly isn't for the fainthearted - but a definite must. Watch out for the big tree on the 14th, it feels like the soul of the course, as EWYA was to Pandora in Avatar.
Big shout out to the fabulous hosts - absolute top service, and wonderful kiwi ambassadors!
S.Wairakei International Golf Course rated 4-1/2 stars: A bunker-strewn par-5 gets you underway on this superbly presented and excellently maintained Top 10 New Zealand golf course. The general environment is pine-forested hills, although many other species also adorn the mainly tree-lined fairways, including palms, birch and several more exotic bushes and grasses. The layout includes many elevation changes, which adds to the character and definition of each hole, as well as providing for several wonderfully elevated tees, and occasionally some great views onto the surrounding hills.

R.I have been lucky enough to have played golf on some of the most wonderful causes, all over the world, but this is my favorite. The quality of the cause and the setting make it spectacular. A true golfers cause.
T.It's a great place, I class it up market. Friendly helpful staff. A nice course for an intermediate. I like the predator free aspect too. 🤠

B.Im from Brisbane and had heard good things about this 3 day golf school in Weirekei. Wow totally impressed with the facilities, course, all staff, food and with especially head coach Steve Jessop. I learned Steve has trained NZs top golfers and is a sought after coach amongst the club golfing community. Steve is a great ambassador for the weirekei golf school and golf club.. I’m an 18 handicap and I can’t wait to get the “Weirekei Swing” down pat and shaving shots off my game and spreading the word about this unique and valuable golf school for golfers wanting a lower handicap.
