A. M.Really nice course. Not overly long with decent fairways and really good true greens. The tee boxes are a bit "rural" but at $30 for 18 holes, a bargain.
J. H.Great course, and in good shape. Greens a little fuzzy but healthy (no dead patches, balls rolled well) and fairways were a bit long but from the chat I had with one of the club guys its almost all volunteer work so understandable that it's not mowed every day.
$30 for 18 holes is very price conscious! I pay $25 for 9 holes in my home town, so this is a bargain. Honesty box system. Sad to hear that they're being taken advantage of, and regularly finding people playing the course that are not paying!
I recommend booking a cart because even though the course is short on paper half of the course is playing uphill, and if you're walking it, it's quite a trek.

A very very enchanting location.
We didn’t even play- we stayed in our campervan on the grounds- the club has kindly decided to allow NZMCA members use of their carpark.
