No, we are not golfers!! We went to the Cafe for lunch. Wow, what a great meal we had of fish and chips with salad and trimmings. The home cooked doughnuts were to die for. Never tasted better in a long time. Excellent service. Highly recommended since being taken over by a new owner. The menu has a great choice. All fresh and mouthwatering. Milkshakes topped off the meals on a hot humid day. Thank you.

Very very nice course!! The scenery and setting is so good and the course itself is fun with a few really challenging holes too. Quite exposed and open course with not much shade so would definitely recommend hiring a kart at $25 each. Also it's reasonably siceptible to wind and the brush that surrounds the fairways is really dense and very easy to loose balls in...haha maybe I just suck but I lost a lot more balls here than I have at other courses (I'll blame the wind tho)😄

Really worth a visit to the cafe! Food is amazing and well priced and good portions. Service is top notch and the view of the golf course is amazing!

Should be better within 12 months. They have money to water the fairways and improve the green surrounds. Great links golf.

Awesome scenic view and good cafe. However I have to give a low score for this course as a serious golfer. It was sad to see this beautiful course in a such poor condition. 2/3 of fairway is uneven and sandy bare ground. A good tee shot turns into a disappointing trouble shot. The greens are kept well although the speed is rather slow side. I don't know how they going to fix this condition but I'm hoping to see the course restore back to what it used to be.

Had a great meal on Thursday night. Lovely ocean views while dinning.

Very nice scenery and good lay out for all kind of level. Have practise range. Nice lady at the pro shop make sure everthing was OK. Only complaine is Cafe kitchen close too early (2PM)

Fabulous food, great service. Do not play golf but only come to eat from the wonderful menu. Donuts to die for!!!

Stayed overnight in motorhome and played a game if golf.Everyone helpful and friendly.Great little cafe in club house..awesome variety of food and real coffee!!

Great course and great value for money. Beautiful views and the surfaces are great to play off. Greens roll nice and bunkers are very soft. Definitely need to stop and play here if you are passing. And to top it off the locals are great and always there to help ypu out!

Beautiful golf course with incredible views!! The cafe food was home cooked and delicious and it's open to the public. The seafood chowder was so yummy!!

Staff great.. Cafe has great selection. Perfect for the South roving holiday maker. Local golfer (ex nz amateur champion) said if you break a 100 here you will do it anywhere in nz. He was right I got 96..and a few days later at Martinborough got the exact same score. The views from veranda at clubhouse fandleastic.

The Waipu Gold Club is New Zealand's most understated golf course. It a links course and just about every hole has a fantastic view. Great for all levels of golf. Give it a go.

Excellent views to enjoy a coffee

Our garden club went there for lunch. It was pre-ordered sandwiches, savouries etc, so I cannot comment on what a hot meal would have been like. The food was okay, but nothing special. Nice views, but it was not nice weather, so we stayed indoors.

Superb links golf overlooking Bream Bay. A delightful Country course at the 'Right' price that also includes excellent catering with great espresso service to boot. A friendly atmosphere pervades from a Clubhouse deck providing splendid views of fairways sloping down to the broad Uretiti beaches.

Just went in for a meal with that amazing view, was greeted by a small group who informed us they had stopped doing meals but the group were super friendly and welcoming.

they chopped the trees down??😯.needs serious attn inside and out beco's it has the most spectacular views over Bream bay😃. Could be another Kauri Cliffs or Te Aria Pt with a little inovation & imagination not neccesasarily money. club house was closed after playing 9 holes on holiday wkend!!! lacking alot of foresight in terms of lifting thier game.pretty average course in my humble opinion😉.

Challenging course, if you are up for it is a real fun course to play.

Nice fishing at the beach

Waipu Golf Club is home to a generally well-regarded golf course, which includes several attractive holes and features. This links-style layout will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges. Worth visiting if you are in the area.

Mature responsible motorhomerd stayed overnight in carpark. Cost was $20 for the night 😲😯😲 Most golf clubs we've stayed at previously was $10 offering power and showers.

The Tee Cafe is a great place to stop and have a coffee and bite to eat on your way up or back. The view of the Waipu Coast is outstanding.

What an awesome suprise. Food was great. Price was fair, view was awesome. You could take your dog but must be on a lead at all times as it it a golf course.

Tee Cafe is lovely. Great and genuine GF. Lovely staff well worth stopping especially if you are Coeliac. Beautiful view.

Winter golf is great when its dry under foot and this course stays dry. Very fast greens, stunning views, not to be missed.
