B.This has been such a great place to stay! We had a campervan so we were on a powered site for 3 nights. Qe were originally booked in for 1 but the holiday park, staff and visitors are so lovely we stayed 2 extra nights. Everyone is so friendly and approachable, we had some great conversations with guests around the park. A guest even took us into town and pointed us in the direction of good walks and showed us a safe place to park the camper while we explored Whangarei.
Very dog friendly too, will be back for sure!!
D.This camp is an older camp and needs a makeover.. The family cabin we stayed in was comfortable and clean. There is a playground and the shared kitchen facilities which were spotless. The bathroom is outdated and in need of a revamp (the bathroom was tidy and spotless).
j.A wee bit dated on first sight but the friendly manageress and 'nothing's a problem' attitude meant we really liked it here. Clean & excellent water pressure on the showers. Walking distance to The Town Basin. Big plans to renovate & improve so watch this space.
R.Park is well located close to town. Facilities are in need of an upgrade but they and the grounds are immaculate and clean.
Managers were helpful and friendly .
We had our toy poodle dog that was welcome
and they promote masks and distancing but welcome vaxed and unvaxed clients. Time to get on with life.
We had a great week biking golfing and a visit to Hundertwasser Gallery.

v.Office was closed but pulled up in one of the many unpowered sites available. Very quiet stay, good showers and lounge room. Cooking facilities top notch if your that way inclined. I'm all refreshed and ready for the road. Will be back.
c.Beautiful park, centrally located, peaceful and quiet.
Bubbling brook behind the camp provides relaxing sounds.
Fiona and John are amazing. Camp mama and daddy. And with Natasha in support they work very very hard.
Kitchens are clean as are the laundry and bathroom facilities.
The residents are friendly and hospitable.
A safe place to stay, with no trouble or drama.
Lots of space but also very close to town.
Reasonably priced.
You'll be well looked after here.

Older style, but full to the eye teeth with charm and character!
Long term residence are happy & friendly and all take pride in keeping this a great place to come to.

M.We have stayed before and during the lockdown. In the beginning, we were staying in the car, so had to use the shared kitchen and facilities, which were always clean and ready to use. After that we moved into two floors apartment with own kitchen, own bathroom. And it was really comfortable. They have a grill, which you can use everyday for free if you want, which we liked the most. Managers are absolutely friendly and helpful, Fiona was always here for us, and it was always really cool to talk with them. We felt here like home. The camp is located in a quiet part of the town, not far from shops and it take like 5-10 minutes to go to the city centre.
