This little gem is amazing, Luke who is the sales consultant is so lovely to deal with easy going and a pretty cool dude. Really like his approach to his role and his attitude sealed the deal and joined them. Craig the owner is friendly approachable and easy to chat to as well and makes you feel welcomed to the club. Would recommend stopping by and having a look.

Awesome gym. Even though it's more busy during the peak hours of 5-7, there's still enough equipment so you won't need to wait around. Bathrooms are always clean and the staff is always very friendly. I wish they had more machines like hip abductors but i haven't found this machine in any of the flex fitness locations. There is always free parking too. Highly recommended!

My absolute favorite gym. It's clean, well equipped and attracts some fantastic members! Also there's parking around the back which helps out quite a bit. There's a little something for everyone here, there's great functional strength equipment as well as cardio, and a good amount of free weights gear. Truly the diamond in the rough gyms of Newmarket.

Stoked with this gym! Very friendly, enthusiastic staff and the club is ALWAYS clean and inviting. Not overcrowded and has the feel of "anyone welcome". Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

I just started at this gym and love the place. It's clean as a whistle. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The equipment seems to be all new and pristine. The gym is not as big or comprehensive as NextGen but it has everything a serious fitness freak wants. Lots of barbells, dumbbells and plenty of the machines you actually use. I've never had to wait for a piece of equipment like I did at NextGen. And the clientele seems to be very high quality. My personal trainer convinced me to start working out here after spending 18 months with him at NextGen. I'm very satisfied with the move. If you're serious about fitness, this is the place. Oh and there's always plenty of inside parking.

Flex fitness Newmarket is a great gym. The facilities are modern and clean. The staff are all friendly, accommodating and approachable. The members are also all respectful. There is always free floor space and equipment to use!

This gym is FANTASTIC and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It's so refreshing walking into a gym and being made to feel like I am being delivered five star service when I'm not a bronzed adonis or muscle bound gym junkie. I'm your average middle-aged bloke doing what's needed to look after myself and my health. I find the other reviews interesting as I have had the pleasure of meeting all the staff and there is no blonde woman working at the gym at all. I'm not sure if that reviewer has accidentally mistaken this gym for another in Newmarket. The five star service I received at the gym saw me sign up immediately after just one visit and leave my existing gym, where I was simply treated as a number and had to constantly put up with broken equipment and other gym goers who didn't treat the gym well. I have not found this at all and am thrilled with my decision to change gyms, even though I pay a little more. The extra few dollars a week are worth it. I'm also travelling a little further to get to Flex, but it's a great warm up (and cool down on the walk home) and the conditions make the extra walk worthwhile. The decor and fit out at Flex Fitness Newmarket, Auckland, is very tastefully done and looks fantastic. There is superb lighting and great sounds throughout the gym that get even my lazy bones motivated. While it might not be to everyone's taste, this gym has grabbed my attention; given me the shake up I needed to get motivated and stay motivated; and the staff have been nothing short of marvellous. Chatting to other people training there, I am certainly not alone in my love of this gym and I cannot recommend the gym nearly enough! It is, in my opinion, nothing short of FANTASTIC!

Discovered Flex Newmarket when my membership elsewhere was about to expire. I'd belonged at another gym on Lunn Ave where over my two years there no maintenance had been done, and the equipment was run down. The cracked pads on the machines made it torture to do some exercises. It's really turned my head around coming to a clean facility with brand new high end equipment, the cable machines are such a pleasure to use! I'm enjoying my workout routine a lot more than I have in a long time, and best of all, no waiting for equipment (at least for now). Place is immaculate and staff helpful. Please keep it up!

I dropped into the Carlton Gore Rd Flex Fitness because i am not happy with the oversubscription and generally grubby state of my current Newmarket gym. This place has got it right! Firstly i was greeted with an extremely friendly and helpful staff member, a quick tour of the impressive equipment area and private showers and i am converted. The icing on the cake was the secure carparking. Don't hestitate to check this Gym out!

This place is so friendly and encouraging! I love using the cardio machines and chatting with the workers behind the desk. I don't get a couple of these reviews, as there is no 'big lady' working there, and the staff are the some of the kindest, approachable people I know! :)
