We went for an afternoon splash at the splash pad. It was free to go in and let the kids run around outside. There were a few tables under shade available. Both nephews (1 and 5yo) really enjoyed it. The swimming facilities inside also look new and nice but we just went to the splash pad.

We went here specifically for the kids splash pool. What a great idea it was! Although it was a little overwhelming for my two year old at first with the water features spurting around, she quickly got used to it. The water was the perfect temperature and the lifeguards were great at keeping an eye on everyone. I did think there were a few older kids who were probably a bit too playful for the young ones. But all in all it was a great experience and a good price for two adults supervising and the child into the pools for $6.50

It's generally busy but I find it ok, it has 2 big pools 1 lane pool and 1 leisure pool, it also has an indoor children's water play area , a kids splash pad outside and a spa, sauna and a steam room aswell. Also a indoor fitness centre and Cafe, and I think there was a smaller pool indoors for children's swimming lessons, enjoyed this place, just need cleaners for the toilets regularly during busy times

It has been reopen after AKL lockdown since Dec 6Th but the google didn’t update yet.. all facilities open with capacity limitation ( 6 ppl for Sauna N Spa , 3 for Steam) ~

If you have a membership to the gym you have access to the entire facility, this is a great place to come workout at all levels of fitness. It is a very safe place to bring children as their are many lifeguards keeping the pools safe at all times. Only letdown is the car parking can be a nightmare at the beat of times.

Be prepared to wait 10 minutes in line for a family change room with a 4 month old baby, only for every door to open and single people stroll on out, not batting an eyelid at their selfish behaviour. They claim lack of understanding and no English despite multiple signs with pictures showing family’s only. They should be ashamed of themselves. I’m sick of this happening, will be finding a new pool. Management need to make some kind of plan for families- why not access a swipe or key like they do for the disabled toilets when paying your entrance fee? Friendly staff. I just can’t deal with the people staring through the steamy sauna window watching everyone play in the pool. It’s overcrowded in there, and uncomfortable having so many people steaming themselves silly then wandering into the pool next to all the children. It should be seperate. Good price for supervising adult and spectator- better than other pools around town so that’s a bonus.

Staff is fantastic - I like that they always greet me with a smile whether it is at 6am or during a super busy period. Chantell is an awesome manager. Gym membership is great value for money - it includes pool/spa access and a good variety of classes. Instructors are amazing but classes get full super fast, which is a bit frustrating.

Alright pool, swimmers are very slow and sometimes make it hard to train. Had some lady try teach her children how to dive in the fast lane. Life guards are good, they move on slow people out of the fast lanes. Spa very hot too!

Good indoor swimming facilities which also house a swimgym for swim lessons, a lap pool, a family pool, and kids pool (heated), spa pool and a sauna. Good changing and shower facilities but starting to look a bit tired. Place can also be really pack on peak days and hours.

Wide variety of fitness classes to choose from. Only wish the room for the group fitness classes is bigger. Class numbers are maxed out at 25 participants but the room can only accommodate less than that, depending on the type of class.

This splash pad outside the Lloyd Elsemore Pool and Leisure Center is very much new and a neat place for kids...they would be hard to resist coming here again and again all summer-along. There are nice walks around this place and a little pond...ducks live there too. Walks connect this place to nearby neighborhoods and shopping area. A historic villa is also nearby.

Website says 715am opening time on sat sunday was told at desk pool&spa area doesnt open until 900am bit disappointed traveled a fair way to check out the services for the first time turned up at 8 have to wait an hour! On the positive side spa pool is really hot too hot for me but i enjoyed it. Steam room and sauna a bit too small but ok. Very busy place on saturday. Seems too small for the amount of people that go through there. Few diferent smell but nothing out of ordinary. Not too bad could probly be 4 stars just for the pool spa sauna steam room. Cafe is good.

Unfortunately someone went toilet in the main pool so we were unable to swim there, but the staff opened a few lanes in the lane pool so we could take a dip. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. Great prices too as you only pay for the adult - council initiative I think.

Great little aquatic centre with great facilities. Splash zone outside for children with paddle inside also. Modern full equipped gym facilities with, pools, spa, sauna and steam room and Physio attached to bulding complex also. Nice and friendly attentive staff with lifeguards constantly patrolling pools. All in all a fun, friendly and safe place to visit for all members of the family.

Review for the Gym facilities: Very nice small gym, the other lifters were very friendly and didn't mind helping with technique, the instructors are also very cool, but seemed to be only helping a small group of people a lot of the time. The changing room showers are respectable. But be warned the amount of students after school!

One time there for was a poo in the kids pool and they closed it off. That was exciting. Went to big pool. Staff friendly. looked equipped to save a life. But u can never really tell.

Best gym I’ve been to. Although the range of equipment isn’t as vast compared to gyms such as lesmills, the prices here are way more affordable and worth it. Staff are friendly and the social environment here is great, feel like we’re a family :) I also love the group fitness classes especially body combat, the instructors are amazing

Pretty awesome place. But I wish they would go over the floors with an industrial floor scrubber once a week or month...Or at all. The floors are scungy and slippery. Even if you charged a wee bit more for entry to pay for the scrubber, no one would mind.

Went to the toddler swimming pool. It is ideal for first timers. Great place to bring the children. Lovely friendly staff also.

Love the splash pool. It is for free if you go only go to the splash pool, or one dollar for each care giver if you want to use the indoor pool too. You can use swimming pool facilities and there is a cafe inside with reasonable prices and well supplied. The splash are have shaded areas with pic nuc tables. Fully fenced

Earlier this week my partner and I went to Lloyd Elsmore for the first time. We were greeted by a welcoming receptionist who was super helpful! The pool facilities were clean and well kept. I definitely recommend.

I am a man in is fifties and my wife is in the same age group. We decide to join the gym as a couple activity and have not been disappointed. The staff and instructors are adentive and there to help. I have already lost 10 kg and we are having a lot of fun doing it. Also included is the use of sauna Spa and steam room. All the gym equipment is well maintained.

Comparing the old facilities to the current ones, the place does get five stars. I swam in the lap pool and the pool was pristine. No plasters or hair to be seen. The changing rooms were clean and not too busy.

Facility in general is clean & good. Unfortunately lap Pool is not good for Lap Swimmers, Constant Issues with Lane Slugs, Starfish, Kids, Cameras & video, Blocking Lanes... Its so hard to do 20 Laps with the constant interruptions & no Lane Control by Lifeguards I've had to go somewhere else, Lifeguards and Management not Interested and have a really bad attitude towards Customers using the facility.

Can be crowded, heavily chlorined water. Long queue on family dressing rooms. Had so many "no jumping" signs around the learners pool, but many ppl and most life guards don't care. A smaller play pool for 4 and under, but many big kids in there too. In short for families better come off peak times.
