Everytime I've gone into Laser Strike I've had an amazing time. If you sign up to there email system you get a free double game on your birthday! A genuine fun activity for you and your friends, but also fun on your own if you don't mind playing with strangers. Has a fun, little arcade area and has a room you can book out for chilling out before your game. Friendly service with a lot of help if this is your first time visiting, would 100% recommend coming here for any day out you have planned!

The year 7/8 teaching staff at Merrin Primary took 80 students to Laser Strike late last year (2020). We all had a fantastic time. It's a great space, easily accommodates large groups, and - the best part - the staff were very helpful and generous. Highly recommend.

Haven't been to Laser Strike since I was a young child, it is still just as fun as I remember. With different game types available it is sure to be a good time with lots of laughs.

Some of the best fun I'd had in months. My calves were sore for days (do NOT wear docs and run around in 30 degree heat, in a small Lazer tag arena)

Great fun. We went for a work function. It was a blast! (Sorry couldn't resist the pun). Make sure you figure out which of the gun settings suits your style ... blaster for up close & phaser for long range (if memory serves me right). Shoot the screens for temporary rapid fire or additional shield. Watch out for gateways ... if you walk through one when it's red it will cost you a life.

Great for children's party. The ease of the party room and not having to clean up (out of habit we did some clean up). Book in advance recommended. Coffee place nearby next to the gym. They have reheating facilities but didn't use them. Respond quickly online. Been around for years but still good fun.

Amazing place to go to for birthday parties

This place is good for a birthday party or a special event. But will need to book ahead if you want to use one of the rooms. There are only two rooms available for hire. It is located on the top floor; above Harvey Norman and next to the fitness gym. There are two ways to get there; via the lift/ elevator or the internal stairwell. Friendly staff. The laser strike game is very fun....feels like in movie, TRON. Hiding in the dark space and shoot the opposing team.... However, the downside to is the actual game time is kinda short (15 minutes) as time really flies when having fun!!!!. I wish the arena is bigger, perhaps the size of a football field! Fitting all 32 people in the arena feels like a packed sardine fish. The place feels a bit dated, and updating the interior arena and the waiting/ foyer will definitely help! Would I go back? Yes. But must be playing with a group of friends, rather than strangers.

Such a wonderful place for all ages to have fun, also the party room is very cool, the staff were very helpfull and friendly. Highly recommend going we definitely will be back

Went here for an event organised others at work. Was more fun than I remembered from previous times! The staff were enthusiastic and very helpful. Value for money was good too. The only thing was sometimes the equipment stopped working properly midgame and we had to swap for new which reset the score.

Awesome party. Gary and the team where awesome when I had to host a party of 11yo boys by myself. Lots of help and smiles to make it easy on a slightly stressed dad. Nothing was a problem for them.

My daughter had a fun time. But as I'd never been before I found the instructions didn't really explain what was happening. Also really hard to hear over all the noise in the foyer and kids.

Alot of fun with the family. Daughter only 3 so pretty much swam in the vest, bloody hilarious actually. The staff member was great actually letting her have a go even though it was apparent that she didn't stand a chance lol 😂 and made it easier by disabling the hand sensor so we could help her . I would imagine that it would be great fun if you had a bigger group or some aussie relatives that need to be taken down a peg or two. Mum won, with dad a close second 7 year old son 3rd and 3 year old daughter 4th. Great way to burn off some energy. Biggest problem was actually locating it in the Harvey Norman building, could do with some better signage. If you park in the north west corner of the building and head up either by lift or the stairs and head in towards the gym but just veer slightly to the left and you are there😁

We held a birthday party at Laser Strike, all of the staff were welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, would highly recommend this place to all!

Amazing have been twice now for our son's birthday as second time was on request seems to be a hit with the children and the adults, most fun we've had in a long time in Christchurch bonus it's cheap

Amazing place for a kids party. Two rooms or one large room. BYO food & drink. Basic kitchen facilities available. Oh and the laser strike area is great fun, even for parents!

I have never had a bad time here, in fact I didnt better this time round against my colleagues instead of my friends. Staff are friendly, games are reasonably priced and timed, and there are heaps of game modes.

A ton of fun! The arena is HUGE! Absolutely not just for kids. Had a couple really wild games with all adults, everyone was super into it. The unlimited games deal on Friday night is a fantastic deal, was such a good workout we couldn't do more than 3 though!
