Real good vibes, friendly people who make you feel at home from day 1 😊
Good mix of muay thai and general fitness training for those wanting to improve on both!

By far the best gym I've ever been. It can be intimidating at first, but as soon as class starts you will be ~forced~ to interact with others and introduce yourself, since the warm up is all done with games (such as the "pizza" game, when dozens of adults become giggly 5 years old). While the process of finding a partner to hold pads for you is nerve-wrecking everywhere, at MTC more experienced people will usually offer to team up with newcomers, making things a lot easier. The whole atmosphere is very friendly and fun: you will definitely hear the Kru's laugh all through class! Tips for anxious people: Go to your first class with a friend, so you already have someone to pratice with.

Very friendly environment with great teachers.......great place to meet others.

Good gym, coach friendly and the people are enthusiastic. Feel like the cleanliness is lacking, left the mats with black soles. Otherwise, can not fault.

If you're looking for a place to train Muay Thai in Christchurch, this is the place to be. And for more reasons than I can possibly list here.
- Proper Muay Thai. Elbows, knees, clinches, lots of focus on form and technique, not just a boxercise class.
- Coaches who really know their stuff, whether you're just a beginner learning the ropes or a fighter preparing for battle.
- Great, friendly atmosphere. Plenty of young and old and boys and girls training.
- No pressure to spar or fight.
- Many people end up sparring because it's controlled and fun. The coaches keep a close eye, the advanced guys know how to keep their ego in check, no one ends up with unnecessary brain damage.
Long story short, everyone's there to have fun and get better. Not to judge or hurt or embarrass anyone. It's a great little fun gym that teaches real Muay Thai and does it well.
