L.I was a beginner and was really impressed with the staff that guide you through how to climb and belay. The person I went with weights 25kgs more than me and I was still able to belay him due to the equipment they use. Felt very safe with the instructions given. There are numbers for each climb so you can hunt out the ones that are in your skill/comfort range.
P.Staff really helpful. Good way for kids to burn some energy and build confidence. Variable options for climbing. We'll set up. Totally recommend and will be back.
L.My son loved his Clip and Climb experience. It was sold out online being the school holidays on a rainy day. A great place for your child to burn some energy and grow confidence while having fun.

H.A great place to take the children. Disappointed in some of the staff they stood around talking instead of watching to see what children needed help. We would have to go and ask them for the help.
U.A wonderful climbing facility that, to this novice, appears to cater for all abilities. The staff are encouraging and knowledgable, the climbs are challenging, and above all it feels safe and well managed. Only grizzle is the parking on weekdays is appalling.
W.The kids had a great time, the instructors were good with the kids, they gave very clear instructions even for the smallest children.

D.Been a couple of times. I like the new key/lock system it's heaps easier than the old way. Kids love it there, took my 5 year old and after a few climbs she got confident and had a great time.
S.This is a great facility. From friendly and helpful staff to a wide range of climbing walls. Kids and adults will have tons of fun here. Only downside was the 1 hour session was not long enough for us to explore all the walls we wanted to.

T.Brilliant way to spend a rainy afternoon. Loads of different and creative walls to climb.
T.Friendly staff and clear systems make a new gym seem very familiar. The only downside is that they don't have any walls easier than a 13, which means that beginners might find it a little hard to start. The rental gear is well maintained, and the wall with natural features is super fun once you get the hang of it!
J.First time bouldering experience for me. I liked YMCA Adventure Centre, I only spent an hour or so bouldering before I decided to go eat and then there was a competition going on so unless you were in it the bouldering was closed of for them. Which was fine for me since after only one hour my arms were destroyed anyway. The facilities seemed real nice and it also seemed to be a good place to bring large groups of kids for catering birthday parties.
H.I go there every Friday for Geckos for climbing club. I would reccomend bringing a climbing buddy with you, or a parent to belay you on climbs. There is also a bouldering cave for you to make climbs for yourself with tape.
K.It is really good place for kids to get very rare experience. And the price is very reasonable. For the pre-schooler is $12 and other kids are $17. But there is one hour turnaround rule so you need to check the each start time. And no car parking place so you need to find the street car parking place. But it is really exciting place for the kids.
F.Great facilities and great team. For me it's the best indoor place for fun in chch. The lighting system is not perfect at some area, it's a bit hard to tell the color sometimes. Still worth the 5 stars!
L.Big shoutout to Dave! My friend and I were visiting Christchurch and decided to go rock climbing. He was very patient and taught us all the necessary skills needed in detail. The staff were absolutely lovely and made sure we were comfortable. Best customer service I've seen in a while, I highly recommend this place!
C.Great indoor climbing wall, lots of routes and a wide range of grades. It can get super busy but given the number of routes you don't usually have to wait around much.
R.I rang in advance to ask about age suitability and was told children as young as two had done it. So I didn't hesitate to take three four-year olds. Two of them climbed about ten minutes and one didn't even try. Complete waste of money to take preschoolers. But the school aged kids had tremendous fun.

J.Lots of climbs, some top rope only, mostly sport climbs all graded and with routes that change fairly often. Bouldering gym also (recently redone). Cafe. Gear shop/hire. Onto it staff. All good

z.The only indoor place for indoor rock climbing on a rope in Christchurch. Nice wall but often crowded. Bit expensive too. Staff are nice but not overly helpful. They will let you know if they don't like how your doing something but other wise don't really chat or offer advice

- pretty decent number of routes in a variety of styles
- sweet roof section
- staff are nice enough if you give them lollies
- the music isn't always awful
Cons:
- routes are reset once every 14 years and the holds are cleaned with a garden hose
- the taps in toilet are way too powerful and they always spray all over my crotch so it looks like I've had an accident
- it's the taps, honestly

M.I have been doing rock climbing here for almost two years and it is a great place, the staff and friendly and helpful and the climbs are changed often so you never know quite what you will face.
