J.I actually visited a ProActive Physiotherapist following recent surgery.
The gym activities are well spaced given need to be during Covid 19 restrictions.
Clean and tidy and pleasant staff.
M.The friendliest gym you'll ever work out at. Great facilities and great selection of classes, which one of my friends described as "truly mammoth".
The gym has really upped its game during Covid to make it a safe workout space in these uncertain times.

C.My favorite gym in the hutt. I have been training in Les mills for over 5 years now. Love the equipments they have, very big gym, friendly stuff, amazing classes. Price is reasonable for how often I use the gym. I don't recommend to go during peak hour 5-6pm but the rest of the time I never have to wait for the equipment.
D.A great fantastic place with an awesome atmosphere, friendly staff and members, ready and waiting to help out.
I was a big lady, under confident, low self esteem, scared of being judged, scared of people looking etc...all that vanished within 2 weeks of attending this gym and once I saw the weight coming off with the help and guidence
from a wonderful P.T, I felt like a new woman...Sadly once membership ended and I left the gym all that weight has come back 10 fold so am now looking to go back.
Overall, great location (need one here in Upper Hutt), fantastic facilities, warm welcoming atmosphere and they have a designated area (upstairs) JUST for women, knowing that helped boost my confidence. The showers are amazing also.

s.Amazing classes. Heaps of free weights and gym equipment. Can get quite busy during peak hours but thats with every gym. Well worth the price tag. Would definately reccomend atleast a free trial if available.
R.Just wow, it's like fitness heaven on earth. After getting frustrated how busy City Fitness was, I started looking around. Tried different gyms, went for Les Mills as it's amazing. I'm mainly doing strength training including squats & dead lifts, and with 10 squat racks and 2 dead lift areas there's always a free rack available.
Group lessons are great too, and the staff is super friendly!
If you're serious about fitness, don't look further and sign up at Les Mills.
T.I really enjoy the group fitness classes at Les Mills and there are plenty to choose from at various times throughout the day. I particularly like Terry's Body Combat classes, and Bevan and Sue's Body Balance classes. The atmosphere at the gym is great, and I find the instructors really motivating.
P.Being a non-gym user my whole life I was apprehensive about what it would be like and if I would feel judged. I was totally blown away by how friendly and welcoming everyone is at the gym regardless of my fitness level. I'm coming up on a year of seeing a personal trainer there and shockingly am enjoying going to the gym. Thanks Les Mills for being such a welcoming space to workout.
M.Highly recommended gym. Good facilities. Programs for all tastes. Yoga to extreme, even a chilled cinema room for an intense session on the treadmill. I found it odd that the grit strength workout area is completely carpeted and no mats provided. Not sure how they keep that carpet hygienic. No steps are provided for the workouts. Perhaps I am spoilt. Wash rooms are clean and spacious with lockers. Bring your own locks. Free day passes are available online for residents to try it out. Guests can borrow a lock at the front desk. Oh and women have their own gym area with no men allowed.
T.So welcoming! The energy is amazing everytime you walk in and there is no judgement. People are too busy to worry about others which is great!! Makes working out less stressful!
N.Les Mills in wellington rules i give it 5 stars but if you come to.Auckland forgot it. They are very unprofessional and will stop you from exercising hard . They cancled my membership for training to hard that was good as i found a gym where i could train hard . They did not like me running from machine to machine . Not wipping up my sweet ( some times i would forget ) droping weights ( not really droping putting down a hevy deadlift ) and grunting ( some times i will make noise when lifting hevy ) all these things are natrual and are fine in Wellington but do it in Auckland and you will be worned and if you dont listen you will be warned again . And then kicked out . If you dont fit the Auckland box you be kicked out. Wellington box is much bigger .

S.Went to this gym for a year, found it as a great alternative to the 2 town ones being alot quieter over all. Showers and changing rooms are tidy. Sauna is better then the town one being bigger and quieter. Every so often machines are out of order but having more then 1 of the same type help so theirs usually the other one free. Car park can get filled up after work, got into an argument with a guy about it one day...

H.Classes are amazing, instructors are always well prepared and make every class a challenge. The members are not a very friendly compared to other gyms...if you missed a class you wouldn't be missed.
N.Of all the Les Mills I have been to in the country this was the least 'modern' and a little cramped however everything was functional and that's what really matters. Lots of parking available. There are 2 mezzanine floors, 1 is the womens gym and 1 with the boxing area. The womens gym was a little disappointing, it didnt have a squat/dead rack (it did have a smith machine) and limited free weights however there are heaps of racks in the mixed gym area which was large but also home to the cardio and group training areas which was a little distracting. The group fitness room looked big but I didnt go in there.
F.Not cheap. Great facilities and good equipment. Has sauna. Sauna is the deal maker for me. They are rare in LH.
H.While traveling through Wellington for work I was lucky enough to be close to the Local Les Mills Gym.
I hadnt been to a Les Mills for about 15 years so I thought it was going to be quite wankey. Instead it was actually one of the best gyms I visited in New Zealand.
There was a great amount of space and a brilliant cardio studio with controlled climate.
If I was to live near by and not in Brisbane I would have definitely joined.
R.Clean, good staff when you need a pointer. Air conditioning- yay! Big open spaces and you don’t feel cramped like in a converted office

T.It's OK. Nice equipment but the personal trainers are mostly awful and have no idea how to use rowing machines. Many are disinterested and let clients abuse machines

A.Jenny King is an awesome PT. She's like a physiotherapist and trainer wrapping into one. Great for injury recovery and mobility issues.
M.Clean and nice. A huge downside for me (beside the music) is the fan at max speed pointed right towards you while exercising upstairs. It kills me.
