Food and liquids a must if you there for a while. They don't gave a cafe... New World is across the road with lots of food options.

A.Not very big, lighting a bit dark, small but friendly place, was kinda pushed to try and pay for aqua aerobics which was good but I'd rather just pay the discounted fare to use normal pools seems to have problems or closures etc quite a bit.. need a gym here too I think...

S.A fabulous kid's birthday party venue, for kids of all ages. On a hot summer's day, when you're in the shade & the kids are running from slides to pools and back again, the adults can relax at one of the outside BBQ tables. There are quite a few shaded areas of you're early. If you book a birthday party group, you get a $6.80 rate for each child (under 15) for unlimited slides and access to the pools - and the birthday kid is free. You can bring all your own food & drinks, it's brilliant! A great place for cooler weather too, you can go inside & have all your fun there. The slides & pools are inside.
J.Took 3 grand children here, so busy.. Very impressed with the lifeguards, they didn't put up with any misbehavior. Making the visit very pleasant
l.Nice clean facility. Liked that there were a number of life guards supervising the kids, but also asking parents/caregivers to stay within arms length of their under 5's.
Couldn't hear the lady at the counter theough the thick glass. So she was getting frustrated with customers and vice versa.
I'd like to suggest that you have a set time for bombing. Then you wouldn't have to keep telling the kids not to do 'Manu'.
M.Awesome choice of pools inside and fun water play outside to cool yourself down on a hot day.
The family changing shower toilet room makes it a lot easier to dress my baby and I.
J.Although it says the waterslides are open year round they are only open on the weekend. Disappointing for visitors to the area. Other facilities OK but probably not worth the trip if you are used to modern swimming facilities.
K.Always a good time. Perfect for younger kids. You need to be aware that outdoor area only available in summer but can use bbq which is great. Slide is cool also

R.We had an okay time, but based on a 4+ rating here we expected more. Not much fun inside for younger kids, water was cold, and the slides are managed very weird as only 4 people are allowed to go up at the same time. Better to just queue at the top like in other pools.
It was not warm enough to go outside, but outside area looks very nice.
Maybe go here when it's a hot day.

N.Great place for a birthday party, as there are two indoor slides, an outdoor splash pad and pools for young and old. There are also some spa/heated pools for relaxing in, as well as a playground. Good place if it is raining also. Very reasonably priced too. Friendly and helpful employees too.
N.Great fun, sometimes the eyes burn from opening in the water, so wear goggles or keep em closed. Couple of low and medium speed slides are fun for children too, and very safe with loads of guards watching :)
V.Kids had a great time at the pools, was too cold and wet to go outside but they were content with the slides, two pools and the spa.
Great showers and clean facilities.
M.Awesome place for the family to have a swim and Birthday party. Not so expensive for a family of 6 plus unless you pay xtra for the slide. Jared the life guard is so friendly and awesome with children. Lots of activities to do there for the kids. There is also a lovely outdoor park and water features. Wish we had one in Hatings
T.I only started taking my daughter swimming for lessons. Teacher is very lovely knows what she is doing A+. Only thing is not giving the pool 5 stars rating It always closed down and needs to be repaired. Prices are good. Staff are pretty friendly. Love the aqua team nice older ladies eexcellent group
B.Slides, indoor pools and outdoor splash pad. My kids love going there. I'm not a fan but that is only because I don't like indoor pools.... chemicals give me a headache. Great for families. It is a shame they don't have an outdoor pool anymore.
D.Great place to take the kids especially during the school holidays. Twin water zoom tube slides, 2 x 25M indoor pools plus kiddie . Outdoor water splash area with lots if space for picnics and games outdoors, lovely in summer, bit chilly in winter though!

F.Good waterslides, but weird rules surrounding their use... sliders have to wait at the bottom of the stairs for lifeguard to let them through up to four people at a time. You can only go up once the previous group have all exited the slide area. Sliders can ride the slides in up to groups of four simultaneously which seems more of a hazard than actually managing frequency of sliders on the slides itself. Concrete surrounding pools near the queue for the slide was extremely slippery, very dangerous. Service from front desk was great, very good staffer.

S.This place has been a staple in many lives including mine. Awesome place from a swim, exercise classes, swimming classes, birthdays and everything in between. Perfect for friends and family.
T.Plenty of pools to choose from and great water slides. Kids have a lot of fun. Cheap entry. I don't like the chlorine, but that's unavoidable in a public pool. Good place to take the kids rain or shine.
A.Best swim instructors (Thank you Jill). More vigilant life guards than you can shake a stick at. Only outweighed by the volumes of fun that this foundation provides.

J.This is a great aquatic centre. Lovely warm water and the hydroslides kept my kids happy for hours. Nice waterpark for little kids during the summer and a separate laned swimming pool for the serious swimmer. Well worth the visit.
E.Cool pools good for kids and adults. They let you go on the slides with your preschoolers which is a bonus when you four year old is a bit of a chicken.
K.Clean facilities, open early for a great start to the day. Awesome team. Friendly people. Heaps of activities available. Able to book events there too. I attend regularly for therapeutic exercise. Great showers.

A.The pools are pretty cold, we have been for a few birthdays now and the kids don't stay in for long as they are coming out shivering and blue. Shouldn't the temp be a bit warmer?? Not too impressed.
N.Napier aquatic centre offers a wide range of great facilities. Pools include two learners pools, and two 25 metre pools. There are 2 hydroslides and 2 spas (an adult and a child spa). Napier aquatic centre offers swimming lessons ran by knowledge instructors and offers a holiday programme, boot camp, and aqua fitness. The pools are guarded by lifeguards too.
n.The pools wer great and the kids had lots of fun.. the baby pool was a little cold
S.I thoroughly enjoyed going to the Napier aquatic centre at Onekawa, has got everything I need there and it's very close to where I live, it's convenient for a lot of schools nearby who use the facilities for their activities, example, this morning as I was leaving at 8:20, there were school kids piling in for their activities, moving the pool away will disadvantaged a lot of people.

V.This place not only tells you about sea life, it tells you about history and how the Napier earthquake happened. But not only that, there were many competitions in store for the kids and I enjoyed it a lot. Took many silly photos and would most likely go there again, swimming with the sharks😉

M.Great pool for lap swimming in the weekends but not during the week after work as all the lanes are usually in use. I prefer this pool to all others in HB.
