V.I have been part if City fitness ever since it first opened, I have seen it's growth which has been great. The group classes are well thought with a really great team teaching, their commitment to their classes, cheerfulness and encouragement is really inspiring. I have experienced other clubs over the years but always come back and are enjoying the HITT classes immensely when I'm able to attend.
D.Superb gym. Good staff, lots of amenities and a very nice ambience.
T.This place is always clean and most of the staff are friendly! the classes are amazing a couple of the instructors are a bit hard out wish they would put the instructors on the app so you could choose more wisely.
M.Thoroughly disappointed. The gym is extremely easy to sign up to online but is an Everest-type feat to cancel. The gym itself is outdated. Fortunately it isn't the gym monopoly it once was; would look elsewhere.

I must add that one of huge advantages is being able simply swipe your tag at other CityFitness gyms.
This allows you to continue your fitness program with minimal to no disruption to your regular fitness schedule.
I have attended CityFitness branches in New Plymouth and Te Rapa, Hamilton and no additional cost at all.

C.Great gym and great staff. Fitness Classes are great and have a lot time options to join them. The best of the gym is that you can bring a friend with you with black card member. As well your family can use the black card with you in the staff hours. It is has affordable prices to join. Gym can get really busy at 6am. It has a car park but is hard to find park at 6am. Only 1 smith machine, I think is not enough for the size of the gym. Only one set of 3 and 5 kg dumbells.
M.Great Friendly Club. Very clean and get to use the massage chair after every workout. Perfect!
B.City Fitness in Palmerston North has a friendly atmosphere and great modern equipment. It is always expanding and adding extra room and equipment. There is plenty of parking which is essential. I am a regular for several years now. The trainer's are friendly and always happy to advice
M.Have been a member here for years and years. I stay at this gym primarily for its HUGE selection of gym equipment. It's also very large and open, good for someone like me who feels claustrophobic in smaller gyms. They desperatly need Aircon though. If they do have aircon you cant feel it. Would recommend this gym to anyone.
J.Great usual cityfitness customer service, but it's a very run down gym in terms of equipment and very poor gym goers hygiene which can't be blamed on the staff, but because of lazy gym people not many there will clean their station once finished. These issues is something the cityfitness management needs to address as this gym doesn't supply basic things that other cityfitness around New Zealand already supply. Think Palmy is getting the short straw, hopefully once the builders have finished the cityfitness near the airport these same mistakes won't be repeated.
R.Have been a member for a year in Palmerston North and am very happy with this gym. It is large and has many separate areas, and plenty of duplicate pieces of equipment, specific weight training machines and aerobic things. I use the stepper machines for warm up and then a benchpress type machine and then lots of stretches and calasthetics. I like that there is always plenty of room even when the place is really humming. I watch what the trainers are getting people to do and often copy them. The showers are always hot and the sauna is great. The only downer if not being let in if you forget your ID card, even if they know you.
B.I really like this gym. It is well set out and well ventilated. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Great aray of equipment to meet everyone's needs. Easy access at the edge of the cbd.

D.City fitness is a good gym that is reasonably priced. I have no complaints about it and it has been great for me.
R.To enjoy the full benefit of CityFitness become a Black card member, that is what I have & I thoroughly enjoy my workouts either in a class environment or working out under my own steam, the staff & fellow members I find are a great bunch of people .... orsum place 👍👍👍👍
