P.Quite a bit of fun (for kids mostly). Good place to bring the kiddies to drain their endless energy. The cafés hardly ever open, but I wouldn't go there for the coffee. Good amount of staff around to keep watch, though their response time could be better. They have some ridiculous rules re kids and the slides though, kids have to be eight or above or they have to be accompanied every time with an adult. Seems less like safety and more like getting another ticket out of the mum and dad. Overall, pretty good.
a.A nice place to hangout with family. Cost $6 to enter for adults and $3 for kids which only gives access to the pools and spa. But besides the "pools" and spa there are few activities you and your kids can do (for additional 12$/head for full day).
Make sure to bring your own snacks and drinks and you can easily spend whole day there.
P.Soon much fun, forget the kids, I went down both the vertical drop water slide and the toilet flush water slide over and over again, jumped the big platform, high enough for me, inside there is a canteen and heated pools, great spot for an excursion.

T.Family Changing Rooms are very good. Need one or two more disabled ones. Problems with warm water in showers lately but hope they are getting fixed. Good selection of pools.

K.My favorite place to swim in Palmy. It's got a sauna, steam room, spa pool, 50m outdoor pool, 25 m indoor pool, diving pool, indoor playing pool, outdoor slides, and indoor slides. It's quite a complete swimming facility. Toilets are okay, although the urinals in the male toilet sometimes is clogged, which is disgusting. The showers are ok, although if all four showers are used, the water pressure gets really low that you need to lurch forward towards the wall to get shower.

T.My kids have lessons here, most of the instructors are great! Especially Bryon he's the amazing! Pools are normally superclean changing rooms sometimes not so much. I wish the cafe would be either open or closed with regular hours cos it's never open when we are in there so I'd recommend getting your coffee before you go 😊

S.Great place for a family day out, from toddlers through to big kids in their 40s. Good lifesaver supervision, food available but also saw people bringing in their own food. Indoors and outdoors with a great range of aquatic things to do, and quite affordable. My kids thought the slides, especially the "toilet bowl" slide and "speed" slide are better than splash planet. Diving pool with high platform was definitely the draw card though. Great day, highly recommend
L.I see some slight improvements but☝️my first time back in a while... the whanau room showers were cold, and man ...we been having some cold days lately. So that wasn't too good. I asked at reception..the lady apologized, said for now to use the female changing rooms. Would of been nice if they had a sign up warning us. I asked a lady a week later who came out of the whanau changing rooms...she said it's been like that for a while..I thought she said 18... Either weeks or months.. probably weeks. And was gonna put in a complaint. I like the ground covering around the pools. I have slipped, just walking near the sauna rooms before years ago, so that's great. And the boat play by the baby pool..👍cool addition. I did worry bout the kids at the bottom of the hydro slide mucking around. And the guard on the other side by the baby pool... Anything happened they'd need to swim across or run all the way around the active pool to get to them. What's the big screen for? It needs a clean...has mold and insects stuck to it. A great addition for the changing rooms would be to add a tog spinner. Like in Tauranga. Put your togs in, close the lid, push the button...and it spins your togs out so you can use em again tomorrow. And I saw...they will charge you for bringing in your own food... during times their cafe is open. That's stinks.. I don't agree with that one... If folks are not buying from the cafe...it's not the people's fault... The prices are probably ridiculously expensive. So you shoot yourself in the foot and punish the customer for it. Or ...ya just being greedy for money? And the pool outside..is it usual practice to leave it like that stagnating green?Wouldn't it be best to clean it out? I did notice you don't have the cleaning chart up for the changing rooms anymore, maybe its moved or you've removed it. For me.. it showed me you like to keep those rooms clean.
C.Go for a swim! Good outdoor area with lots of grass and tree shade.
E.It's a large network of pools, including a spa, a "lazy river", and waterwalking capabilities. It has a seat to lower handicapped people into the pool, and large change rooms, including one for families. Hot showers are available for before and after the swim, and the staff keep the areas clean. There is a shop for swimming equipment and a café. Each time I have been there, I have seen people of all ages, including families, enjoying the water. A highly recommended venue.
C.Good experience. Warm weather made it the perfect summer spot. Expect large crowds and long lines to the slides. Lucky you can bring your own food in.
Slides were close at least twice while we were there (between 11am and 5pm) and the kids player playground was closed/re-opened 3 times while we were there.
Bad system for the water inflatables on the big and fast slides. Never enough for the people wanting to slide down. Need improvements there.

D.Usually good but really disappointed with a learner swimming instructor who nearly drowned my granddaughter!! A really scary experience with a teacher who didnt have a clue! She seemed a little sloe tbh
E.Really good place to swim!! And pricing is pretty good!! However!!! Your indoor pool needs to be a small bit deeper and you need more lanes?? It’s really hard to practice swimming when half your lanes are taken up by either private lessons in the morning or by school lesson in the afternoon. There’s no place for the public to swim from 8 - 9 in the morning or 3 - 6 in the afternoon. I really enjoy going to the lido but it gets a small bit inconvenient going at times when there are lanes available/when it’s quite. Over all great place and amazing service but personally you need more lanes 😁

I.Absolutely awesome aquatic centre! Didn't put 5 stars because of the nonsense of the queuing system for the indoor waterslides. It's a bit severe for such a great place but come on guys, the waiting at the bottom of the stairs is inefficient, confusing and potentially unsafe.

S.Great place to take the kids swimming, they have an amazing outdoor swimming area for summer time, huge park like area outside with beautiful trees for shade & places to sit for a picnic lunch. They always have something on offer for kids & plenty of different pools both inside & outside for swimming. And the water slides are a great time for the kids!
b.Great pools clean and staff very visible. Changing rooms clean and enough stalls to get changed. Pools not too hot temp just right. Will definitely be back prices very reasonable.

A.Absolutley loved this place. Next to victoria esplanade. Park. You can bring ur picnic or bbq. Outdoor slides and diving and lane pool which are heated as well as indoor pool and slides. Must go often kind of place. Kids had a blast

G.I go there because I am a member of the gym. I also belong to be LEGENDS GROUP of people who are over 50 years old. They can look for different exercises everyday. Just give the Gym instructors a ring to book into a class, or join the gym.
J.My daughter is in Lotties class and WOW has she improved … highly recommend swim magic as they do a lot for kids and their swim skills
v.It's a kidtastic place my grandkids love it especially the outside water features their is also a spa just to totally chillacks not to mention all the slides for all the big kids and a great place for bar bs birthdays plenty of fun for all ENJOY
S.Fantastic place! My son learning swimming here, teacher Rebeca is really very patient and very experienced in teaching boys. The most happy time for my son is every week come to Lido to swim. Also the price is very reasonable, the Manager is also a very nice lady. Anyway I strongly recommend this pool, the best one in Palmy.
T.The pools are too cold but the facilities are otherwise great. The boy goes for swimming lessons there and he's doing great and now it's going into summer it doesn't matter about the temperature but in winter honestly they should pump it up a couple more degrees at least.

T.A great place to take the kids for some fun in the water. Indoor and outdoor pools. Several hydroslides, and a fun water activity/play area. Life guards on duty. They have separate male and female changing areas, as well as a number of smaller Family changing rooms. There is a cafe as well. They also do an "after school care" program.
D.It's a great place for all the family to come and have a great time. I have seen all ages having fun, young children learning to swim and enjoy being in the water; whilst all ages can enjoy exercise classes, have a great time in the hot pool or sauna. Plus there is the gym available for those who are wanting to tone up.

i.rode all the slides and jumped off all the diving boards. the slides all surprised. fast,fun. some were pitch dark. you never knew what was coming.
A.It's such a good deal going there, $4.00 for a child and then they can swim for hours Ava no extra price except for hidra slides, which are totally worth it.
j.Had a great 3 hours there. Used the Steam room, Sauna, spa and pools. Did me well after a hard 8 hour night drive.

G.Thanks for the great deal for our Scouts and leaders from the Regional camp on Saturday. A perfect way to finish our day out on activities in Palmerston North. ..and ensured they arrived back in camp tired but clean after showers ....and all smelling the same 😆

I.Good facilities, bit dirty in the inside food court, asked staff for broom to sweep etc. The lady came and sorted it quickly.
Life guard on wasnt too observant, watched a couple kids nearly drown.
D.Nice swimming pool with alot of slides, especially outside for in the summer. Also has a 25 meter pool. However, people are allowed to keep their shoes on inside the centre. I find this not really hygienic as everyone else is walking barefoot.
D.I dont know what a "lido" is but its not a fish. Turns out this isnt an aquarium. Was hoping to see a big fish eat a little fish. Still though pools are nice and wet which is what you want really. Could use less gravity. Also a bar would be nice. Also if you find a que for some stairs, dont join the cue. you either end up jumping off something, or sliding down something very fast and reviewing the contents of your trousers afterwards. Has a cafe and walls.

A.Closed during session for cleaning due to 'code brown'. On reopening pool, there were very few life guards on, none watching lower pool.
S.Great facility but when I was there they kept giving us time frames of a pool to re-open due to a code brown but it kept getting pushed out later and later. It would have been better to have just said not sure but we are doing our best to get it re-opened.

D.Lido comes into its own in the summer, when the 50m outdoor pool is open. Indoors, the 25m pool is shallow, suffers from considerable flow push in some lanes, and is usually quite cold (which can be suitable depending on how hard a session you have planned). Staff are always extremely helpful. Indoors, I prefer Freyberg - but outdoors there's nowhere better (in Palmy!).

S.What an incredible venue. The beautiful shady trees are lovely. We visited from Sydney and my kids (aged 12 and 9) absolutely loved it.

C.Love my classes but would really love a tog spinner as many of us go straight to work from the Lido and have wet togs and towels in the car all day. Also some of the changing rooms have been out of action for quite a while now.
D.Very cheap for students (3$) and the best choice of u wanna swim! However, customers can only enjoy 2-3 lanes as most lanes are for private.

B.Great selection of different pools at different temperatures and depths for all ages. The hydroslide is awesome and the outdoor pools are great for school swimming events.
K.The Lido is a must for people travelling through Palmerston North and residents alike, the pools and hydroslides are fun and invigorating.
Albeit one issue is that in comparative prices to other Hydroslide parks across the country , the Lido can be quite pricey if you want to ride on the hydroslides.
P.As a gym member l love the friendly enviroment from staff as well as other members. Facility has a lot to offer for all ages.
