Mark has created an inclusive environment. people of all shapes and fitness ability attend the group sessions. The trainers help realign you if your are doing an exercise incorrectly and these tweaks can make all the difference to your muscles and of course, risk of injury. Suburban fitness is also more affordable than other group fitness classes out there. 10/10 recommend!

Every day there is a new circuit of exercises, every class the instr spots u & checks ur form, a safe place - no mirrors, no selfies. If u r a newby, restarting exercise or if u need a new buzz Surburban could be ur new buzz and they don't care how young or old you are. 2 x full ensuites avail to shower & change in. If u want to change ur shape, do interesting exercise classes for a reasonable price then this is the place for you. Lockdowns - we kept up our classes via Zoom in our own homes - it was real cool 😎 and kept me sane!

Can’t say enough good things about this gym. Started as a beginner in fitness and now have been going for a number of years. I recommend this gym to anyone and everyone!

I have only been a member for 2 weeks, but the authentic interest and support in my health / fitness journey from Mark and the trainers and my class companions is amazing! I feel really supported during this hard un-fit phase of returning back to exercise, and this gym has support and encouragement in spades! I love the circuit classes because of the variety. Yes, I hurt in muscles I had forgotten I have, but I just want to go back for more because I feel like I am becoming part of a gym family. And it's kid / lifestyle friendly and what better than to demonstrate to our families that we are focused on health and fitness? That's gotta be a good thing - right!? If you are returning to fitness and need that support, I recommend Suburban gym.

I’ve finally found a gym where I genuinely want to go all the time and never want to miss out on a class. Mark is an amazing gym coach and always puts time and effort into each person that goes there. I’ve never done the same routine twice so it makes going there always different and non-repetitive. I would recommend him and Surburban Fitness to everyone!

Mark is a fantastic personal trainer. He is friendly, motivating and incredibly knowledgeable. Mark mixes up the sessions with both cardio and weights to keep it fun and interesting. I would highly recommend both Mark and Suburban Fitness.

Hi everyone, so ive been doing personal training with Mark for about a year now at Suburban Fitness, I step into his studio/gym in Feb 2020 with little on what I wanted achieve in the way of getting fit again. So he started me off with the basics to gage my fitness level and from there we work on making me stronger and fitter, until.....one day, boom! we went straight into the fun stuff of targeting muscle groups with weights, circuits and everyone favourite cardio! (not mine😅😂)
While I’ve been on this amazing journey, I have achieved some really great milestones with Mark! He is super encouraging, wants to make sure I'm doing the techniques correctly to avoid hurting myself, very focused on my development and allows me to go at my own pace, but still challenges me to give extra. Training with Mark has been a life changing experience and rewarding! He is fantastic to work with, so here is my personal rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + 95 more! I highly recommend Mark and Suburban Fitness! (Mark, was this too much?! It was, wasn't it 🤣😂) he’s awesome everyone!

Mark, Josh and Dean do a great job of getting to know the clients, pushing us when needed and still remaining very encouraging. Sessions are fast paced and allow you to get a great work out in relatively short amount of time. Highly recommend

A friendly bunch of like minded people working alongside side each other at their personal level . I joined intending to grab a ten 10 trip to do boxing on Saturdays and I'm still there months later on a weekly membership attending a variety of fun fitness classes

I have now been with suburban fitness for almost a year and a half and has made such a difference in my life. It has improved my fitness, flexibility, strength, energy and boosted my confidence within myself. Not to mention, has improved my karate so now I can give the boys a run for their money. Working out with Mark isn't just a fad, it's a lifestyle! If you want change and better quality in life, jump in and give it a go!! You won't regret it.

I have been with Suburban Fitness for about a year now and I love it! It's such a great community of people to train with from all fitness levels and I personally feel that it has been a safe environment for me to be able to workout in.
Mark, Dan and Tania are the only instructors I've had so far and I've had great support from them doing what they can to help out as much as they can and even as far as assisting in seeking further help.
We have an app that helps me to stay connected with everyone, this has been a great motivator for when I can't make a session or haven't attended in a while, receiving notifications keep me mindful of my efforts. I guess you could say it helps you to stay connected when you're not connecting on your mental tough days/weeks.
Regardless of my personal/financial situation Suburban Fitness is a community I always aim to get back to when I bounce back. I can't wait to try out their new lunch time sessions and Pilates classes when I get back from course!! I highly recommend you stop by at either the Lower/Upper Hutt location and give it a go!

Awesome place to exercise! I’ve never felt comfortable at a typical gym, but Suburban Fitness is a super friendly environment and very welcoming.

For years I joined gyms and never ended up sticking with them. Then I found surbuban fitness which is a lifestyle not a fitness craze I have now attending suburban fitness at least 3 times a week for almost 3 years. As a result I am fitter, stronger, have more engery and self confidence. Mark and the surbirban fitness family are so supportive and encouraging, you look forward to the next session.

I Joined Suburban Fitness about 10 months ago now, and have lost 15kg. Looking back to before, who would of thought I would be going to Bootcamp 3–4 times a week as I have never really considered exercising something I really enjoy doing. But, because of the unwavering support of Mark and the incredible group of people at Suburban Fitness, I now know how to control what I eat, actually enjoy waking up at 5.30am to go to Bootcamp, and have gone down 4 dress sizes. I feel much more confident with the body I am in, much healthier and have discovered how much I am truely capable of. Come and join us at Suburban! You will NEVER look back
