Reviews of Jai Thai Boxing Gym

10/5! Trainers are awesome and a very welcoming and friendly vibe here. If you’re considering giving Thai boxing a go consider no more and give it a go! You won’t regret training at Jai!!

Jai Thai is a fantastic Muay Thai gym! I was looking for a close knit, supportive team that would push me to the best of my abilities and I found that here. They cater for all levels: I was a beginner and could attend most classes, they just scaled it back for my level and spent time teaching me technique — however I saw plenty of advanced fighters enjoying the vibe there too. Would highly recommend you check Jai Thai out if you are a beginner or advanced Muay Thai boxer looking for your next gym home.

The place is very clean, friendly and respectful. I've been going for 3 months now as a 17 year old and I'm loving it, I've progressed a lot since I started going for the first time and I'm loving it. I Definitely recommend this place for learning martial arts

Way more than just gym! Great vibe, awesome instructors, once you start Muay Thai there, you won't get enough of it :)

I cant say good enough things about Jai. My first comment would be that it is a gym with a great sense of community and friendliness- the trainers are especially welcoming to new members and there is no better place to start learning.
But on the other hand, the trainers are all top level fighters and are handpicked from their gyms in Thailand. Chosen for their ability to teach- they are inspiring, fun characters that will give you very technical instruction that you wont get elsewhere.
The facilities are modern and everything you expect from a central city gym. No cold showers and bare concrete floors here- you have to travel to Thailand for that experience.
Thanks Jai for the great memories and getting my Muay Thai journey begun.

Absolutely love this gym! I started here as a complete newbie and attended 3/4 times a week for over a year, I just couldn't get enough! I was so sad when I left as Jai had become part of my living experience in Wellington. The teachers were so kind yet professional, they would motivate and push you to your potential, and help to reveal the strength and endurance you didn't think your body would have. As well as making a few jokes here and there during class, and not forgetting their beautiful singing, and genuine passion for Muay Thai. I also made some great friends here as the majority are pretty much like-minded people, definitely emanated a family feel atmosphere (once you pushed past the beginning intimidating stage which doesn't last for very long). Wishing Jai all the best and thank you for an amazing experience!

I've trained here many times (every time I visit the family in NZ), and this is the best muaythai training you can get in Wellington or Auckland. Super authentic! The trainers are Thai champion fighters and are patient and fun. They're welcoming to practitioners of any level: from the absolute beginner who want to get fit the fun way, to fighters.

If you are searching for an authentic Muay Thai gym in Auckland, this is the best place to go! Trainers are patient, very professional and most of all friendly. There is also a wide range of different schedule you can choose and they're extremely flexible.

Have been training there for a year last year and really had an amazing time. The coaches and mates there a great. Started there without any experience in Muay Thai and left loving that sport. Will always remember this place as the place where I started and learned toove this sport!
They also provide good training material if you don't have anything yet.

Wimbledon Jai is an amazing fighter and even greater trainer! I have not been in a Muay Thai class or any sort of MMA training in more than 10 years but Jai really made me feel comfortable joining his Fighters Sparring Class – Advanced (requires trainers approval). I expect plenty of sweat, grit and the need for perseverance and I sure got it!! Jai helped me with my technique so I was getting the most out of every kick, punch, and elbow I through without hurting my self. I've worked with over a dozen MMA trainers and I highly recommend Tai Boxing Gym for self defense, fitness, weight loss or even become an official Muay Thai fighter champ. The current students in the class where knowledgable, fit, friendly, skilled and even sexy! Last but not least, the staff are friendly and professional.
