k.Really excellent shower facility for anyone on the road. You can use the family shower, which is roomy and private. Changing room showers also excellent. Remote operated so no pushing a button every 30secs! Spa pools are also great, reasonably priced and very hot, price includes entry to sauna. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

B.What clean facilities. Just a warning the pools aren't really heated. Probably around 20 degrees +-, still worth a visit if you fancy a swim.

G.Best pool in the reigon with 3 extra separate pool the hydro for people with disability, the training pool for kids learning to swim and the spray pool for kids playing around. The main pool is 50 meters but is often split up into 25 meters
T.Kind of hit and miss with the diving boards and platforms being available to the public. When they are open the kids have a blast. The rest of the pools are amazing also. Would be good to see timetables it open times online. To be able to plan around.

S.Kids pool area was recently refurbished at end of 2019. Don't expect wave pool or water slides but during weekend they have inflatable obstacles raft. Cafe is okay with a variety of hot and cold food with good coffee.
N.I seemed to be very popular place. Nice shower option for campers with only 3$ warm shower. Spa/sauna/pools and spot for kids too. Shower seems to be nicer for women than men tho.
A.We do weekly infant swimming lessons in the hydrotherapy pool and it is fantastic. Nice and warm for the little ones. The pool has a number of family changing rooms with showers and change tables which make life a lot easier. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The cafe inside the pool is also really lovely however some of the food is a bit over priced.
D.This is the go to pool when we want to take the toddlers "swimming". It us quite a travel for us and we pass a couple of closer pools on the way but it is well worth it.
The pool has a baby section, a really big toddler bit and some deeper pools with some inflatables. We mostly occupy the toddler bit which is like a very wet splash pad.
There is plenty of other stuff going on at this facility including a cafe where you can finish up with a coffee and a scone.
Best of all - free to swim like all of the council run pools. Amazing.
A.Great facilities for babies and toddlers. They and their parent are free entry for the junior facilities. Nice big family changing rooms with nappy disposal, nappy changing table and shower. Easy way to spend a couple of hours! Parking can be a little challenging at peak hours.
R.Had a lovely time with my two kids. Needed to get a swim nappy for my daughter and the lady at the counter was very helpful. Great place to while away some time, the spray pool is fantastic.
Looking forward to our next visit!

B.Great for younger school kids, with inflatables at certain times. Deeper pools only available for lane swimming most of the time, as they're used for booked activities. We have our regular swimming lessons here. Staff friendly and helpful. Could do with more cubby holes though as people always use up seats for gear. Some changing rooms need maintenance.
D.I love the facilities here and the staff are all lovely too.
M.We’ve been here a couple of times just for a shower. Early in the morning we enjoyed a big cabin with a toilet, a shower and a basin just for ourselves. In the afternoon we used bigger rooms with little shower cabins and big changing rooms. Since we are traveling during the winter season we are thankful for the plugs in the bathroom to use our hairdryer!
J.Great place to take kids for a play in the dedicated kiddies pools, for exercise/training or just to relax in the spa and sauna area. Also has an on-site cafe. The family changing rooms are great when you have wet kids and adults that all need drying and changing as well!
H.Probably the best swimming pool in Wellington, awesome swimming lessons amazing pool depths especially the 5 meter pool which is so deep!! Also the huge diving boards with the 2 meter and 1.2 meter pool, also the epic kid pools like the 1 meter pool and the spray pool. But yeah, I would 100% recommend going to the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre for a fun swimming day!
M.Good value for money. $8 for an adult will get you access to pool, sauna and spa. Good size changing rooms as well. Would give a 5 star if diving boards were open in the evening.
T.The pools are good. But unfortunately the main Male Change room and Toilets is really bad. The showers have no doors, and not only the urinal is about a meter away, there's a huge mirror right in front, so if you shower there feels unsanitary and with zero privacy.
A.Awesome facilities for all to appreciate, clean, tidy and staff are always welcoming. Coffee shops not too bad either with decent seating while you watch the kids.
A.Friendly staff and wonderful pool! It would be nice if lap swimming was extended into the diving pool area more often as swimming with that depth below is always a treat. The Sauna could do with more frequent stone spraying also and if the WCC could one day find the money for an ice cold plunge pool in the hot zone then all of my dreams (and other people's, as this plunge pool fantasising has been the topic of Sauna conversations I've both been a part of and heard) would come true and not enough stars could be bestowed on this already excellent Aquatic Center.

If you play around and get wet you can able to take a shower for 3$ and clean going back to home and not smell in a public transport.

A.Great place to take children of all ages. Variety of separate pools from pre-toddler up to adults. Even has a programme training pool. Each pool has different activities available with some having blow up boats, slides and rings. Plus lane swimming and diving platforms. Has lockers and separate changing rooms for families. Also has a cafe with plenty of seating.

F.Hiya, I use the hydrotherapy pool in the early mornings and find the pool, pool area and change and shower facilities always spotless. Equipment is always conveniently poolside plus a holder for my walking stick placed right beside the steps for when I get out. It can get a little crowded at times but that's o.k everyone is always considerate of others and make way. I thoroughly enjoy exercising here and am grateful for the cheaper rates for my low income. Thankyou for this wonderful facility.
A.Love the hydrotherapy pool and good size changing rooms. Pity that the price is high but that's to do with council. If entry price was lower I'd certainly use it more.
S.A great community asset. Not perfect: the showers are a bit rubbish, for example, but pretty good. The hot pools, hydrotherapy pool, and children's holiday activities are things I particularly appreciate.

L.Great pool with nice staff. It is a pool that caters for everyone and has good facilities. A lot of activities available here at certain times e.g diving, water polo etc. Best pool in Wellington for sure!!! 👍

M.Horrendous 8.40 this morning went to the aquatic center reception didnt tell a lifequard to open the pools so im wandrring around with 2 kiddies wondering where the lifeguards are ? It was so confusing al we wanted to do was wait and keept geting a young girl saying we are busy setting up something else.i ask for the manager waste time also.recetion should hav notified staff.so an awful experience fingers crossed they wake up in get ther act together will b making a formal complaint

R.The water was wetter than I expected for this time of the year. The pool seemed to get wider as the night went on. Thanks for the communal showers which meant I was not alone at the end of the night. Top marks for keeping communal showers in this time a nude phobia.
