House of training and far north crossfit are what every fitness and training outfit should be: highly trained and qualified coaches who are attentive, passionate about their work and genuinely interested in what you are doing and your safety, health and well being. The workouts can all be personalised and fitted to your ability and fitness and there is always a really friendly, inclusive whanau atmosphere. My strength, flexibility and posture have improved out of sight in the last 4 years I have been with this awesome crew, and most important of all is that I have met so many inspiring people and made lots of new mates.

Checked into FarNorth CrossFit after a few verbal recommendations. The timing may have been off putting for long term commitment as the impacts of Covid19 occurred only 2 months after joining. However the family owned and run business with over 10 years CrossFit affiliation and many more years of fitness industry experience shined through these difficult times by providing ongoing at home workouts and connection to other members, creating fun and health accountability when it was probably needed the most. This was all a free service which highlights where their passion and care for a fitness community lies. After lockdown regulations were lifted, diligence in hygiene has continued. The coaches show a wealth of experience to support the individuals needs in group class settings and if not utilising personal coaching, if on the floor they are very approachable and provide quality guidance. It's quite a rare and special thing to have all this experience under one fitness roof; Registered CrossFit coaches, Olympic weightlifting coach, gymnastics and body sculpting backgrounds. Outside of the various workout classes, the building is also host to nutrition support, osteopath and chiropractor services. The quality of what is offered can really only be proven through the people that walk through the doors. Since coming to this place, I have witnessed and been part of a culture that is inclusive, supportive, caring and of course competitive yet fun. If you are a child or retired, an athlete or not, there certainly seems to be a place for you here.

I have trained at many gyms in my life and many different types of training and House Of Training has been the most enjoyable and rewarding place I have ever trained at! The coaches are friendly, experienced and genuine. The members are friendly, supportive and respectful and the environment is very wholesome. I hit so many personal bests training with this team and its a family friendly environment too. C
