L.We went here to try something new in Orewa. We took a risk, and I’m unhappy to say that it didn’t quite pay off. I’m gluten free and this bun tasted close to what you’d receive as aeroplane food. Kinda ruins the entire burger. The rest of the ingredients in that chicken burger weren’t standout either, but the chips are 10/10 and the chipotle aioli is really delicious! My friend who isn’t gluten free said her beef burger was pretty good. Super messy to eat, dripped everywhere for us both.
S.We ate here as a group of four, we tried the two different vegan burgers and the chips in the soy-naise and we all loved all of it! It was definitely worth the half hour wait, friendly staff fresh food and well prices for what you get! Will definitely be back :)
H.Definitely recommend checking out Boss burger in Orewa! One of the best I’ve had in Auckland and really really well priced! Burgers and beach, name a better combo 👌🏻 Will definitely be back!

R.Love the burgers here. Hubby loves the Whisky King and I enjoy the Bossman. Burgers are very tasty and made with love, perfect amount of sauce and fillings. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.
K.We are big time fans of gourmet burgers and always looking for good places . So glad to have these guys nearby! Their food is great- finger licking good!! Loved the fries and the chicken tender as well. Their Aioli dip is the cherry on the cake! Must have for burger lovers!!

The burgers tasted nice. I found the bossburger on the small side compared with for example similar burgers at burgerfuel. The Engine room veggie burger was nice, also size was good. Fries and kumura fries also nice.

Unfortunately we had quite a dry burger, the meat paddy was nice and thick but dry, there wasn't much sauce at all on the burger, merely a scraping on top and bottom making the dryness from a mouthful of buns unpleasant.
The sauce for the chips- you get to choose from a great range but the tiny pottle was only quarter full. Not enough for dipping half the chips.
On the plus side, fresh salads on the burger and really loved the chips, nice and crispy and not oily!

J.Great burger place, I had a Bossman with an Extra patty with Fries and the fries tasted excellent. Cripsy and not soggy with oil at all, a great combination with the Bossman. Everything about the burger tasted great and had a good amount for a gourmet burger. The only thing which it lacked I felt was how much sauce was on the burger but that is just a personal preference. I would confidently say this can easily compete against BurgerFuel in Orewa/Silverdale.
M.I am not usually a burger fan but after trying the classic beef burger with cheese, it was amazing. I went back again for a delicious juicy chicken burger with all the frills! The best burgers I have tasted for a very long time!!
C.Don’t travel to Orewa much, however had an appointment down there. Saw this place wasn’t sure at first but thought why not. Asked the guy what would he recommend. Ended up getting the classic boss burger with Cheese. Absolute gourmet burger even had to go back and tell the guy the guy his burgers are number 1 lol. Overall awesome burger would highly recommend to try it out, you won’t disappointed.
