I came here recently for a dinner out. I had been craving burgers and I was definitely not disappointed here. The burgers are pretty big and juicy. These are not your typical frozen patties that you get at fast food restaurants. I really enjoyed mine. I was also pleasantly surprised that I could order not only curly fries, but also a chocolate peanut butter milkshake. Needless to say I left very satisfied and full. Service was good and the waitress was working really hard when we came in. Next time I'm craving burgers this will be the first place I think of!

Yummy! I had the special burger with truffle whipped feta, crumbed mushroom, tomato jam and spinach and WOWZA! SO GOOD! We also got haloumi fries which were delish. My partner got the mcfly chicken burger and said it was tasty too. Thanks Burger Burger! Great lunch. 😁

Online order got Kiwi Classic, fish tacos, wedges, halloumi sticks n raspberry milkshake. Milkshake was good creamy and right amount of raspberries, the burger was also good not the best but good enough from the meat to the buns it was juicy and delicious. wedges was wedges not a fan of the truffle dip but it's okk. I think it was a wrong choice to get fish tacos in a burger place just a matter of personal taste. I did closed my eyes just to buy the halloumi sticks as I love halloumi it is pricy but underwhelming I was thinking more of a crunchy breading with a nice bite of halloumi just not my style. might try to order again but not something I would crave and look for.

Always prompt, always delicious, love their stunning vege options! A bit pricier than Burger Fuel, but the cost is definitely matched by the amazing flavour combos and generous servings. 100% worth it. Also super friendly and helpful staff at this branch - thank you!

Ordered online through their website. Came to pick up. Had to wait an extra 20 minutes. Only to go home to eat cold and soggy burgers and burnt broccoli. I spent over $100 for a very bad meal. Update: the manager communicated with me and have issued a refund. Appreciate your assistance.

My favorite burger place in Auckland. Always busy busy busy but service is always attentive and friendly. Personal favorite is the ol smokey burger or a big mat for overkill. Their patties are always on point, nicely charred on the outside but medium well on the inside (as requested). Their sides are 👌, curly fries always a staple side.

Beef patty was juicy and broccoli for side was pretty tasty. I was able to order my beef to be medium rare, which was a big plus. Staffs were very friendly and they had open kitchen so I enjoyed watching them making my burger :) They seem to have decent drinks menu too. I took one star off because some of items on the menu were not available. And fries was a bit too salty although I liked its crispiness.

Had the incredible burger tonight and it did not dissappoint! Was pretty skeptical as I have tried other imitation meat products before but this burger was amazing and tasted like the real deal. Super happy and can't wait for my next one thank you ☺

Just moved into the area so tried this for fist time tonight. It was good, I got the vegetarian option with the broccoli and haloumi chips as a side. Tasted but expensive and the burger could have used more sauce. The drink cost nearly $7 plus delivery and was less than average… broccoli was really yum.

Burger Burger is busy busy. And wow those are the best onion rings I've ever had too and NOTHING like typical onion rings; go try them although they are very salty. The burgers are proper huge but with the slightest topping additions they get very difficult to handle so we resorted to a fork and knife. Was simultaneously bland beef flavour and tastey at the same time. Build your own, but be wary of how very quickly your bill will rise for just 2 people. $1 for just pickles and $2 for pineapple.

Superb burgers as should be expected with great quality ingredients and meat that makes you a little more grateful. Burger Burger offers a great range and is sure to please everyone. Slightly cramped as a venue, it's no place for agrophobics, but makes for a cosy feel amidst the hustle and bustle of fast food. Easy alcohol options to compliment delicious food and sundaes. A burger is probably enough for one person - Burger Burger is also a great place to dine alone. Go here for slightly intense service, but quick food and a cool vibe. Enjoy the special, it's sure to please regardless of what it is.

Great food, great service, and a really fun place to hang out. The only thing for me was finding it, because they are situated in a food hall/ mall. The best way to find it is to use the entranced on Brown street then it’s just inside on your left. All though this place is busy it’s still a great place to meet up with friends.

Good little burger place. Not a lot of seating so I was very lucky to get a table for me, the hubby, little miss 5YO AND my 19 mth old son. The waitress offered some colouring pencils and a puzzle sheet to my daughter which was awesome. The food came out reasonably quickly... maybe 10 mins and was delicious 👍 we got a pork bao burger from the specials menu, the classic chicken burger, potato skins and popcorn chicken. The potato skins were especially nice. The thing that frustrated me was the fact that there were no simple ‘normal’ drinks available .... no regular coca-cola or orange juice etc... they only offer home made drinks. We tried three different ones, the honey cola, tangy orange and traditional lemonade and I HATED them all!!! I just wanted a good old coke! It’s great of them to offer some home made drinks but I just wish they also offered standard drinks too. Luckily we got a milkshake for dessert, also from the specials menu called ‘remarkable shake’ and this was a saving grace as it was beautiful. I recommend the food and shakes, but be weary of the soft drinks.

I've had multiple great experiences here. My favourite pick would be the delicious beef bunnuce with extra cheddar cheese and the char grilled broccoli which make for great low carb options. Staff are friendly most of the time and the place has a great atmosphere. Would avoid going during peak hours to get full enjoyment from your meal. ♥

Used to like the food, though the quality could vary from time to time. Was going to order again today but noticed the price went $18.24 from $15.20 for the same burger, and from $8 to $9.60 for the fries. It's 20%. I wish my salary had gone up 20% too but this isn't the case so no order from us

It was my husband and I's first time visiting BurgerBurger last night and we loved it! It was very busy for a holiday but the lady at the front was able to get us a table pretty quick! We tried the special Katsu chicken burger and found it very juicy and delicious. We were disappointed to find out that its not on the menu! Our server Madi was very attentive and had some great chat and jokes! She recommended the potato skins with extra aioli and she was not wrong! The potato skins were a 10/10. We will be back! The food was very quick and Madi was very accommodating to us and everyone around us.

Hadn't been since late last year as per usual the broccoli and potatoe skins were on point. The beef patty in the old smoky seemed thicker and not as juicy as usual. The cheeseburger beef patty was just right. Drinks were good. Service was excellent probably since we were the only ones there at 3pm :) Overall i always rate BB.

Have been to this location a few times. Must get the potato skins and curly fries. Burgers are pretty decent. My favourites are the double beef and cheese, and the mcfly. This location gets busy quickly. Try get seating inside if you can, it gets too cold outside in the Winter even with the heaters on. Service is a hit or miss, so one star off for that.

Went to Burger Burger for dinner with my girlfriend and we were very impressed with our meal! I got the potato skins and an ol smokey. The potato skins were coated in delicious truffle oil and I couldnt stop eating them 🤤 The burger had a delicious thick patty and the toppings mixed together perfectly. Highly recommend!

Went here for lunch a few Sats ago. Our servers, Alice and Maddi were super nice and onto it which really adds to th atmosphere and overall experience. The food is so good I've gone back twice in the last two weeks! Big juicy burgers for my dad and I, he loved his classic cheeseburger and my BBQ one was devine, espc the biiig hunk of perfectly caramelized onions. Mums vegan GF burger was the best she's had, great texture of the patty and yum bread. The charred broccoli and potato skins hit the spot too. I will be back again soon, no doubt!

Came here after church on Sunday night. Good place for small groups, will be even better with the summer coming. There are outdoor heaters though which is very nice. I ordered the McFly burger which was good -- I wouldn't say overly amazing as far as burgers I've tried go, but still delicious and the size is great. I wasn't hungry and split one with a friend and I was happy. The kumara fries with aioli were also very tasty. Staff were very attentive as well. Great experience!

The best burgers in Auckland! Always cooked perfectly - medium rare is the way to go and it’s actually cooked medium rare. Extra pickles are so good - and you get a decent amount. And yummy sauces. All round amazing!

Excellent! I had the regular veggie burger and they actually got it very very right. I added pickles and tomato, and made it vegan. I also didn't remember to tell the waitress no aoili or cheese on the onion rings, and when I asked for no dairy, she was very friendly, and even apologetic even though it was my mistake. Great service, we were well attended to even though it was packed busy. Kitchen was very clean and efficient! Will definitely be back!!!

I like how they ask how you’d like the meat cooked, the quality of ingredients is the main difference between this and other burger restaurants. Had a kiwi cocktail here but didn’t enjoy it too much. Probably my favourite sit down burger bar in Auckland. Great burgers and sides although because of the high quality ingredients they do cost more. Always busy so you may need to wait for a table if your in a group. Still worth it.

Burger Burger suffers from a lack of consistency across its locations, however the Ponsonby location has never failed to deliver fantastic burgers and sides, with fast service in a great (albiet cramped) environment. I have never been disappointed here.

Great service but the burger in my opinion wasn't great. Soggy bun, at least 3 or 4 gristly bits in the patty, overpowering barbecue and onion sauce, limp bacon... just not a very good burger. We also had the Cajun chicken salad which was excellent, and they have Sawmill beers on tap so pretty good otherwise. I was just really disappointed in the main event, the burger. Hopefully I just got unlucky, because this place is seems to be heaving every night and I doubt that'd be the case if they weren't doing things right most of the time.

We have a burger club, so be aware we are VERY strict on review . Well, I found it a little disappointing to be honest. The thick shake was very warm to begin with, and I asked for the patty to be medium but it looked more like medium rare. Fries and side sauce were great though and so was service. It’s a five-star burger place. Service was prompt and super friendly. Food was delicious and cooked exactly to spec. They did custom orders exactly as specified (based on our experience of burger joints it’s a rare skill). As burgers goes Burger Burger is my go to place in Auckland.

Loved the chargrilled brocoli and their peanut butter shake was the best we have ever had. I didn't finish my burger though, did not enjoy the chicken thigh meat and the type of bun, I usually love burgers so just not my favourite type here. Worth it just for the shake next time though!

Update: The team leader contacted me and apologized on behalf of the manager, he let me know that they will address the situation. He was really polite and showed a lot of interest in this matter. For this reason, I changed my rating from 1 star to 3. Thank you so much. Good food but the service was really bad, manager/waitress was rude since the beginning and later when we tried to complain she took it badly and answered inappropriately.

Friendly staff, food is delicious and the atmosphere is pretty good. I've removed two stars because somehow subbing the meat for a cheaper meat (chicken instead of beef) is an additional $6-8, which is an absolutely ludicrous price hike. I would understand a few extra dollars, but half the price of the burger is unreasonable and their justification is stupid, there is no way whoever is assembling the burger is getting any of that extra money, it'll just the company pocketing extra money.

Our cousin took us to 'Burger Burger' in Ponsoby or something, they were full so we went to the neighboring bar for drinks which were nice. When we got to Burger Burger the staff were really friendly. I ordered a lamb burger and we got sides of chips and a chocolate peanut shake. The lamb burger was SO GOOD and the shake was amazing, think it was like Lewis road creamery milk? Highly recommend this place; they were super fast too w their service

Awesome burgers but service no that great. There online system was down, so i called and wanted to order it. Guy at the phone said i have to come and order. I told him i have a meeting so wanted to save time.Anyways i went and ordered at the counter, he said should be ready in 5 min since it was not busy. Waited for 15 min and went to the counter to check, my order was ready was just kept at the counter. Not very happy guys.

This place does tasty food but Gluten free people beware...they don't have a gluten free burger option. Instead I had to have a Bunnice (kind of like a wrap but with lettuce instead of bread). It was actually very tasty and healthy...but to be honest I would have had a burger hands down.

It isn't that there's anything inherently wrong with Burger Burger, it's just that people seem to rave about it. I can't see a reason for the rave reviews. The burgers, and I have now tried a couple (Old smokey this last visit) are very greasy/oily. They are tasty enough but nothing to write home about. I had a raspberry milkshake to go with my burger on the last visit. The menu says milkshakes are made with a scoop of icecream, the shake that arrived was warm, raspberry flavoured milk. I don't imagine there was much icecream involved in its construction. In any case, the shake was also very ordinary, and not worth anywhere near $8! The place itself is great, cosy and cool. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Don't get me wrong, it's far from terrible. However, there are many better options for a high quality, delicious burger in Auckland. Hell, there are many options just in Ponsonby, I'd suggest one of those instead.

Service is great, food is excellent, and the decor is pretty cool. A good casual dining experience, but very popular, so tables can sometimes be hard to get. Nearby available parking is one of the only problems.

Burger Burger. The place with burgers so nice, they named it twice. But seriously, the burgers are well cooked - beef patties cooked to medium rare perfection. However, I don't believe this to be the best burger in Auckland, Andy's Burgers at SkyCity have are tough competition. They have a tasty selection of sides too - broccoli and potato skins are great! The burgers can be pretty messy to eat as they don't skimp on the sauces. Be warned that due to the small size of the restaurant, you will likely have to join the waiting list for a table.

Burger Burger is the place to go to settle a burger craving without pigging out on the 'dirty fast-food options'. Their menu is simple without overcomplicating what a burger is but leaves you with enough choices to customise the burger to your taste, it even lets you want to swap the bun for lettuce. The sides are well made and in a great size for sharing. Although the food is well made, it's not a mind blowing experience, and that is what I'd expect if I have to wait for quite a long while for a burger. Burgers should be a quick eat, but Burger Burger makes it a drawn out meal and makes you ponder if you should have gone elsewhere. Tip: The line is always quite long! Check ahead and make sure you're not in for a nasty wait!

This was my favourite burger in New Zealand. I visited Ferg Burger and the Fat Tui but this was the best vegetarian burger I found in New Zealand. Paired with the loaded fries (jalapenos, aged cheddar and chipotle mayo) it was incredible

Great burger place. The burgers are different than usual burger joints and are quite affordable compared to others like Burgerfuel. The place has a great feel to it and nice to eat there. Staff are polite and tidy.

Delicious burgers and sides, with some good beers available. It's a bit expensive (but normal for Ponsonby), and it's always really busy - we had to get put on a waitlist for dinner for two. So probably book ahead if you can rather than walk-up.

I love Burger Burger but the service at the Ponsonby restaurant is consistently bad. The last three times I've been here some thing has gone wrong - missed items, drinks taking 20mins to appear after we've finished eating, etc. I'd recommend the Newmarket or Takapuna branches if you're after a burger fix!
