This place is a little gem. With so many expensive restaurants around, this place is on-par with their level. The staff are friendly and energetic. I would like to order some more but I am so darn full. I won't come back anytime soon as I am on a diet but I will see you guys around on cheat days.

Friendly helpful crew, great burgers and the some of the best chocolate thickshakes you'll find! It's worth ordering online during peak times as they can get really busy.

This is, by a long margin, serves some of the best burgers that I have ever had in my life. The staff are very welcoming, the service is great and the burgers are absolutely bang on worth the money. Worth every penny. 5 stars.

Usually quite busy and one of the BF’s we’ll do the 20 minute drive to. Usually fresh and tasty. Have had some days where the food was meh, but more often than not it is yummy.

Always a great burger, consistently the best vegan burger in town. This one is convenient to the beach and movies next door. Make sure you ask for vegan aoli if your that way inclined, but it's an extra dollar which sux!

Really fresh burgers, Kumara fries had a very generous portion and the place was nice and clean

Very good burgerfuel location. They get it right down there. Burgers cooked and prepped really well. A young group of staff who are always really pleasant to deal with, the manager must have a knack for hiring nice young folks. Always a pleasure to get in there and get my dirty feed on. It is a very amazing eatery to go for Lunch and Dinner when I have a holiday at Takapuna every Summer.

Alzheimer disease, which has sadly affected some older people, But BurgerFuel weirdly has not affect my father...If only he could remember my name. Highly Recommended by the Big Guy Himself since 1995!

Went in at 10 30pm after work. I was lucky enough to be the last customer. Amazing staff that were on top of their game. They had to deal with drunk customers that were trying to order food even though they were closed and doing their best to clean and serve the final customers. Honestly the staff need a raise. Top notch, especially the girl with the maori tattoo on her forearm. Amazing food as always.

My cheese burger was juicy, cheesy and meting in my mouth. Wish there was more tomatoes though, but still it was worth it. The staff were so friendly and efficient! I loved how they gave out some try-out ice creams and potato fritters.

Conveniently located, lots of parking and just a short walk from Takapuna beach.

Extraordinarily awesome service from the lady with glasses at the counter. Very nice very helpful even gave us free burger vouchers for the long wait. Yes the wait was long but every staffs were doing their jobs correctly. Thumb up for the lady at the counter and the team!

They were out of Kumara fries which was a little disappointing, since I had heard a lot about it. But the burger was very juicy and tasty. Loved the bun, which seemed really fresh.

Burgers never felt better. The sides were so complimenting the burgers. Close to the beach as well.

Best burger in town? Yes more than likely. Great portions, fresh, tasty, cooked the way you like it, whats not to love. Fries are great and generally it is pretty quick. Prefer the tomato sauce over the aioli but you cant win them all. Premium burger which is well worth the visit and revist and revisit...

Reliable burgers from one of NZ's best chains. Patties that actually taste like beef rather than 'meat product'. Delicious all around, if not exactly cheap. Friendly staff, friendly atmosphere - you can see why it's a successful outfit. Solid recommendation.

Food was good, the place was clean. But you need to tighten up your team. When we got there there was one other couple already waiting for their food. The girl on the till took our order and checked our request for no onion on the burger, but didn't check whether I wanted the real chicken nuggets combo or the real chicken nuggets by themselves. Nothing really happened for a few minutes and then the other girl who was out the back on her phone came out and started cooking the first couple's burgers. And a new couple's order for fries. Question: why wasn't she already cooking the first couple's burgers? Why did she only come out into the kitchen when there was a second order? We got our food anyway. But there was onion on the burger, and I got the real chicken nuggets and not the combo. I didn't realise there were two options, my fault I suppose. The girls weren't paying attention and just seemed slack. The food was great though.

We will definitely come again. We just dropped in by chance and we discovered a great place to eat. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very polite and when we asked one of the team ( we believe his name was Peter ) gave us good advice what we should order. It was quite busy the time we visited but we still did not have to wait too long. Perfect job they did. We can recommend this location and it‘s team, they do a great job.

Always good burgers at burger fuel. Went for a 2 for 1 deal last week, man it was busy. They ended up running out of ingredients and stuff haha. The wait was huge, i ordered online and seemed to get slightly ahead but was still huge wait. I thought the staff did pretty good and explained and offered to wait or refund etc The area manager also followed up on those who didnt get there orders which was great. Chip and kumera chips nearly always great.

Quality burgers and the seating is comfortable. Even during busy lunch period service was good

The burgers we were served was soggy and dripping. Even though they provid large tissues we had to use couple of them just contain the flow. I have been to other burger fuel centers and also to this one earlier with much better burgers. We love burger fuel and think it's one of the best burgers out there.

Burger Fuel Takapuna is my local. The staff are always friendly, and the vegan options are awesome. They also do amazing soy thickshakes - only problem is that they sometimes run out of soy, but thankfully they doesn't happen often!

New hemp burger was really good. Seriously good.

Very friend staff, great energy. It takes around 7 minutes for your order to be ready. Quality of the meat and chicken is great. Good place to go to if you fancy a good piece of meat. Only bad thing is the smell stays in your clothes and hair, but it's warm inside.

Great food, good service, but they NEVER pick up their phone. I've tried to call many times to order because its faster on the phone than online, and usually I am already in the car with my family, so they ask me to ring on the way there. We have been coming for about 9 years on and off. They used to be very good with their phone, but since online ordering came in, I don't know why they bother with a phone at all! However everything else is great!

Best burgers in Takapuna, all honest fresh flavours, patties perfectly cooked and a good variety, including vegetarian and sizes. Staff are friendly and helpful even when really busy. Excellent teamwork guys!

🍔 is good same standard but the fries seems been cooked for a while, counter services is low because the girl respond with knocking her head and conversations is short like YES. We see dining in the girl forgot to bring us a coca cola and my chocolate shake still got a big chunk of ice cream on the bottom.

Boss as burgers!! Service was a bit slow but they were low on staff and busy, and staff were still lovley and welcoming! Deffo recomend

Was quoted 6mins on Bio Fuel. Order arrived in 5. Perfectly done juicy, hot burger. Well worth the scoot over from work during lunch. Props to the guy who handled the order.

I can see why this place was a hit 10 years or so when they opened but burger joints are getting better these days, or at least my expectations are. It's probably great after a few drinks but otherwise I wouldn't recommend.

I like the meat patties at Burgerfuel but the fries are minimal and there was way too much aoli used. Online ordering was excellent however an option to hold certain ingredients (aoli) would be appreciated

Great customer service, very well made, tasty burgers and fries are always fresh. I come here during Saturday dinner rush and they do so well. Been to a few other store but they were dissappinting but takapuna burgerfuel is always spot on!

The food is delicious and they used to serve my favorite burger the Flame Thrower. But it's quite a bummer because they changed the menu and removed my favorite itm from the menu. And thats why i give them a 4.

A bit if a wait for food today, around 4.30pm on a Sunday. Staff Abit under the pump.. didn't seem like there was a manager in charge here. Food didn't disappoint.
