H.Although they forgot to put chicken salt on our chips, these are still the best chips we have found!
The gluten free Hamburger was also the best I have ever had, better than burger fuel etc, it was DELICIOUS.
L.Battered or crumbed fish. Gluten free batter options. Clean fried food. Hamburgers full and flavoursome. Better to phone order in if you don't want to wait around as they're often very busy

g.In my opinion fish stop is by far the best fish and chips out west. The fish is always super fresh, I usually get hoki and scallops and they are fantastic. they use a batter that is light and non-oily and the chips are always perfectly cooked. Really great value for the quality you get. I love this place, hands down my favorite fish and chips in Auckland.

G.Consistency can be a big issue with Fish Stop. I always order the same thing. Some days it's one of the best around, while other days it's quite poor. Unfortunately today it's ther later. Everything is very oily and doesn't taste fresh at all. Chips are soggy.

Crumbed Snapper was delicious, the batter on potato fritters some of the lightest, freshest and crispiest batter I've ever had, chips were tasty and the beef spring rolls also great. First time ordering from here but will definitely order again.

The fish is truly fresh and the staff are polite and well mannered. The prices are good for what you get too - this is probably as good if not better than the famous mongonui fish and chip shop up north. But with far more value for money.

B.Absolutely loved the meals, the crumbed fish and crumbled banana was my kid’s favorite. The oysters were just delicious and fresh, makes feel like swimming in the summer ocean. I would highly recommended to all, specially with such valuable price.

K.Definitely "The best out west". Beautiful fresh fish and chips, and you can choose whether you want want salt or not and what kind of salt. The prices are a bit higher here compared to other fish and chip shops but they are definitely higher in quality too. They also offer gluten free batter and some delicious burgers that cost around the same as a McDonald's burger but taste a thousand times better.
S.We had Crumbed schnappper Crumbed scallops Crumbed prawns Wedges Fish burger and Deep fried oysters. Was so so very impressed was so delicious. Most delightfully fresh seafood cooked very well. I reccomend to have what you can crumbed. Definatly on the more pricier side but well worth it in every way. Il definatly be coming here when the urge for fresh seafood arises again. Thanks guys.
t.Great place, great food and good chips although occasionally when we asked for chicken salt was not on the chips. Fish is great although recently upping there pricing is a bit pricy

Д.The food is nice but I think it is ridiculously overpriced. 1 tiny peace of snapper is 10 doll. Is it gold snapper or why?? Yes yummy but for 20 doll I m still hungry . And with their crazy pricing they don't even give lemons and free sauses . Damn it is Gleneden not Ponsonby! Yes snapper is expensive but other fish and chips takeaways sell it for 5.50 a piece. Great difference isn't it? I guess their snapper is not good as yours ofcourse
