I cant say enough how great my local fish n chip shop is. Always friendly , always fresh, good size portions [highly recommend the new crumbed fish yum!] . Always busy ,which says a lot!. Ask any local outside while waiting and they will say the same. Support your local [if they are good] especially through these hard times. I know it is hard running a small family business with rising costs and rents and yet trying to keep prices down to keep customers happy.

First time there. Chips nice and dry, fish one of the nicest tasting I've had in ages. The hamburger was a little bland, but then I had requested no mayo. All in all, 9 out of 10. Nice clean premises

Value for money on fresh FISH & CHIPS. ONE DRAW BACK THEY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR COOKING OIL ON A REGULAR BASIS. HENCE SOMETIMES YOU GET FRESH FISH COOKED IN STALE OIL. 80% OF THE TIME IT'S GOOD.

This is my regular, they are a good takeaway and have package price meals that are reasonable. I I've their fish and fried mussels. Not much parking outside as can be popular (has dairy's x 2), lotto oulet and bakery. Good food variety at these shops.

Me and my partner got fish of the day (hoki) & chips for last night dinner. The batter was light and fish was cooked well however there were some batter bits that was not cooked through, i tasted the raw batter inside & but was the right crispy for me. Some chips were soft outside and mushy, all chips weren't evenly cooked. Maybe a few more minutes in the frier would have done the trick. Needs a bit more salt in the chips and in the fish batter. Overall i would go back but i will specifically have to ask them to make sure my fish & chip is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

When I order the food I want. It seem to me that they miss out one of food that I order. The taste of the food from cooking in frying is not good as it too drying.

You can't' beat New Zealand Fish and Chips. Visited here at least four times when I visited home in August/September 2016. Large Fish and great tasting Chips. And I remember the old cement bicycle stands out the front are still there.

I love the fish from this shop as the owners take pride in selling fresh large fillets of Snapper Terakihi which are very well priced for a large piece of Snapler(my favorite)
