Just had lunch here. Very impressed with the quality and size of the New York Cheese Burger I ordered. The burger patties were juicy and really well seasoned and the loaded fries I had on the side were also delicious. I feel that prices were very reasonable. They also have a beautiful garden area out the back to sit and eat. I will definately be back!

Probably the best burgers in Auckland?! Been past it a million times and ended up trying it finally and what a treat it was! Burger was tasty and done just right and the bung fresh… Will certainly be making regular stops from now on!

We couldn’t believe how many good reviews this place had… so we had to go and try! Indeed we did! Such a nice environment as well as the taste of the food. Prices are reasonable compared with what you get! Burgers are more than filling and chips are fresh too. We will definitely come back!

Yum!! Tbh I didnt really expect much and there pictures don't do there burgers justice. But they are huge, way bigger then expected and so full of flavour and ingredients. Had the El scorchio, N.Y.C.B and seriously satay loaded fries. Everything was yum. I really enjoyed the El scorchio, the level of spice was perfect and the amount of prawns was great too. Deffinitly want to go back and try more flavours.

Went there for the very first time today my experience from the call for my order to picking it up and eating was absolutely amazing. This is one of the best burger places in Auckland, and that’s an understatement. The burger I tried, the doc was beautifully made with care. Depending on your burger you get, there is a different bun used. The buns on my burger were very crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside which made the burger that much better. The ingredients themselves were very fresh and very simple but very effective and amazing. They are very affordable considering the huge size of their burgers. The quality of the food and customer service is a definite 11/10. I would definitely recommend going here!

From memory, both my date and I enjoyed our respective burgers. But what stood out to me personally was that by the time we walked back to her car and sat down and opened the package, we could no longer tell which burger was which. And my date worried about my injured right hip, which made walking back prohibitive, so she decided to call them. I was very impressed they remembered our exact order, even though I fumbled over the name of my date's burger, and explained to us exactly how to tell the two burgers apart. 5/5 goods and 5/5 service.

Decided to give it a go after hearing a mate going on about it. Must say, was a great decision. This place is a gem in Onehunga. The burgers are amazing. Love how the menu is displayed. Tried the lamb burger which was delicious and definitely one of the best ones around. The outdoor seating area at the back is really cool and funky. Would love to go back at night for a different feel.

Always come here for a good burger, prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are really good. Get the El Scorcho one of the best burgers I have eaten super delicious and filling!

First time here lastnyt with my whanau and was not disappointed a lil wait but was worth it, all the burgers we ordered were enjoyed but those Polenta Frys n gravy omg sooo good😋😋😋 Hubby even gave a personal mihi to the staff💯💪

One of the best burgers I've ever had. Highly recommend the Mediterranean inspired "La Toscana". Excellent atmosphere in their back garden on a sunny Tuesday afternoon! Do yourself a favor and visit!

Very tasty and decently sized burgers from this store. Very filling and many different flavors to suit differing tastes. A bit bigger than Burgerfuel burgers with similar quality. Small seated eating area inside with a nice clean interior and photo menu wall to help you decide. Diverse range of drinks avalible including ones I had not seen before. Well worth several visits. Update: still good, upwards of 20 min of wait but worth it

Im not a local but heard about this place thru the grapevine a while ago and finally decided to make the 25min drive to try it for myself to see what all the hype was about. So 6 of us went and ordered all different burgers (they all looked delish & similar to Wisconsins), unfortunately 2 of us had to change our option as they ran out of beef patties (guess this shows their popularity ... and also we went in the evening) but they did reduce the price to account for it. Secondly, we ordered when we got there and was told it would be ready in about an hour! Unless you like waiting - learn from my rookie mistake and pre-order before you leave home ...especially during their busy dinner times. We all tried different burgers and everyone loved it & said they would definitely return & reorder. I ordered the chicken cranburger which was good but i was just a tiny bit disappointed I didnt have much cranberry or brie (compared to the Wisconsin CCC burger that I love). In saying that, I am still keen to return to try the others on the menu, & hopefully lockdown will be over so that we can sit & enjoy our meals onsite.

Great local gourmet burgers, everytime. The main menu is pretty extensive with beef, chicken, pork, fish and veggie there are also limited time offers changing up the menu. Relaxed honest local amd very good at keeping their Facebook page up to date with what's happening.

Excellent burgers and Tater Tots... So many good options to choose from that my wife and I had to get two burgers cut in half so we could each try both (El Scorcho and Go Nuts). Both burgers were great, though El Scorcho could have been spicier for my tastes. There are at least 8 other burgers I want to try so will definitely be back.

Wide range of burgers, tried toscana pretty nice Smokey flavoured burger. Need a bit more sauce. ambience is really relaxing.

This is our second visit and not as good as first visit, buns were stale, and for what we paid do you not have proper tomato. We had the ends in 2 burgers out of 4., very dry and tasteless tonight, room for improvement. Some of those combinations just don't work. Have seen other raving reviews and maybe some people need to check their taste buds. Cheers

Pricey for a burger but really yum. Empanadas were a tad small. Love the outdoor setting out back. Better in summer no doubt because it was cold when we went. Ok. One gripe. Please, please, please greet your customers as they enter the premises. Acknowledge them. Acknowledge the fact that they took the time to visit your premises. There are tons of options for food on a Saturday afternoon and they chose to come to yours. (Personally I drove from Takanini to Onehunga for a burger there). Just say hi. Try not hide behind the screen.

A gem. Not was she was expecting, was my wife's comment as we pulled up outside. Halfway through the meal, she declared that the Portobello (r)was the best burger she's ever had. I couldn't pay her any attention as I had to concentrate to enjoy the flavour burst in my Lamb of God (l). Mr 17 was uncharacteristically quiet. With good reason, he had a stacked Sweet Matilda to get through as well as fries loaded with cheesy beef and gravy. Ms 13 happily chomping on a cheesebuger and chicken tenders. The only downside - it'll be a long time before we get to try the rest of the menu. Please, please please open a store further south.

Sweet lil burger joint with that home cooked deliciousness. Awesome courtyard in the back especially at night. The chipotle double and loaded fries with beef and gravy are a must. The burgers were a decent large size too!

5 stars is for customer service. Came here really to acknowledge staff. Although the shop was very busy when I came tonight, and I could see staff rushing around, the lady behind the counter was still very polite and showed great customer service! Huge props to her! An absolute legend!

First time here, this place is so good!!! Classic don’t judge a book by its cover. From the outside you could be forgiven to be sceptical but once you enter you know you have made the right decision. All the photos of the burgers are on show. Some of the staple offerings and many more fantastic creations. Greeted by a friendly staff with burgers freshly made to order. This place is a true Auckland under ground burger joint. I liken it to the swashbucklers of the burger world with very similar decor. Over all 9/10. Give this place a go you will not be disappointed.

Burgers, in Auckland/NZ, are usually under seasoned. Not here. They've nailed it. The NYCB I had yesterday was beyond good. Huge too. Give this place a spin, it deserves your support.

Our first time visit here and we had a great time. We ordered a vegetarian burger (only one option) and a kiwiana burger. Both burgers were good, really fresh and that brought out the flavours. The atmosphere was really good and they have a beautiful garden for you to sit in. If I had to critique just one thing then that was the veggie burger didnt have a contrast in taste. It was all just a bit sweet - maybe some red onions instead of caramelized onions with a tangy relish would make perfect.

Absolutely the best burgers i have tried

I drove from Karaka to try the burger's just because the reviews were all positive. Well let me tell you I was not disappointed at all! I had the Mad Mak and it was insane, it made a Big Mac look like a kids burger. My friend had the Chicken Cranburger and loved it. The loaded fries are freaking epic too! Friendly service and a awesome area to eat out the back. Get in your car and go now!

So we have been trying to eat at this restaurant for months, but every time we would be in the area it would be closed. We finally got there on a day they were open and the hamburgers here are so good and did not disappoint. Most are not your typical toppings, but they work so nicely. Small space, but it works so well for the restaurant. Oh and can't forget the fries plain or the specialty ones you really can't go wrong.

Fantastic array of delicious and innovative burgers, cooked while you wait. Also very good pies, there is limited seating, so at lunchtime be prepared to take away. A very high standard of food for this semi industrial area. The menus is pretty much limited to burgers an pies with only a limited amount of cabinet food, and a few cakes. All in all a great lunch bar if you have time to wait for your food to be prepared for you

Being a traveling salesman, I eat burgers, lots of burgers, like 1+ a day. So I've tried a few. Nothing comes even close to these guys. Chose the NYCB (New York Cheese Burger). Perfect double beef patties, melted cheddar cheese, fried egg, onion rings, bacon, pickles, iceberg lettuce, dressing, plus I added mushroom. As far as the taste buds go, this rates a perfect 10. Not only the best burger, but the best combination of texture, flavour, and juicy, to create the most succulent sensation your buds could ever experience Then the wedges. Even they were unbeatable. Although I cannot comfortably sit down now due to capacity overload, I'm an absolute raving fan! Will be adding this joint onto the agenda every time I'm in Auckland!

Yep burgers are great But I love the wedges. They are value for money,crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a tasty coating and tonnes of them! Well enough for two but i wont share they are soooooo good.

What a genuinely awesome burger bar. Great burgers, but what really amazed me was getting 50 cents off my burger (without asking!) when I asked for no egg. Who has that kind of integrity in business these days!? Seriously amazing. I'll be back for that fact alone.

Fri 11th Oct 2019..Ordered 4 burgers. Portobello, Blue Moon, Mad Max,Fig'ure of cheese & some loaded fries.Asked if I could have iceberg with the Fig'ure of cheese instead of rocket.No problem. Approx. $66..told 1/2 hour wait..no problem.discovered charged 80c to swap from rocket to iceberg & not advised. a little miffed as spent $66 ..eventually took it on the chin as looking forward to burgers as I am from Christchurch & heard how devine they are. Got back to sons house as he lives just down the road to devour my Fig'ure of cheese burger to find no lettuce at all..miffed again..The burgers were however absolutely delicious which made up for the faux pas..would have otherwise given 5 stars

Great burgers!! They are a bit pricey, but the size makes up fo it. As much as your tummy says "get the loaded fries and polenta chips" there is no way you could finish them and a burger.

OMG I can't believe that someone might have given them less than 5 stars. This place makes me cry, I think about them all the time. Its just beyond words, my body has a placenta like bond with this business, it calls for their nutrients. Eating two burgers from here is now a honorable goal for me to work towards.

Premium burgers in the last place you'd expect to find them, just an average looking store in the middle of the 'burbs. The trickiest bit is deciding which one to try! Amaze your taste buds here. On road parking usually ok.

First time here... burger was bang on ... five dollar combo advertised included fries and 600 ml soft drink... chips were extra small and overcooked and no 600ml drink only a can...
