The Riverlands Roadhouse has cabins available for overnight stopping, shower and toilet facilities, hot and cold food, truckwash facilities, and a caltex diesel stop. Stop in for a look. Personally I love the way they make my steak cheese and mushroom toasted sandwich. It's cooked to perfection.
H. T.Great place to dump you waste for $2 plenty of space to turn around for large vehicles. Fuel and coffee available if you want it. Took a while to find the water but there is a tap on the right side of the driveway when you drive in. Thank you.

a. c.We stayed here with a caravan, power was available and all facilities were nice and clean which is great to see - nice to see an open plan kitchen that can be viewed by the punters, a big tick on the cleanliness. You have some really nice staff here who were very welcoming and an asset.

Q.Great place for the traveller, showers, toulets, Laundry available. Licensed premises. Truck/Camper parking available, cheap rates and helps keep a local business going. Truck wash facilities also onsite by the diesel stop- enquire at the cafe.

m. t.I almost dont want to review this place to keep this gem secret but it deserves more than 5 stars. The facilities are so clean, plenty of room to refuel your rig, change machine (notes to coins) for the hot showers, laundry and truck wash (assuming as haven't used that yet). I've only heard great things about the onsite cafe and accommodations.

J. R.Have just stayed here and wasn't very happy with the service. Found the on going problem with no hot water in the showers very tedious. When I asked about it as it was apparently something easily fixed even though temporary was spoken to atrociously by the so called manager and was thrown my $2 when I was I asked her about it. Never have I seen such bad customer service. It's unfortunate as the food was great and the cleaning of the facilities was A1. And other staff were great.

This is a great facility with a licensed cafe attached. The coin operated showers & laundry are really clean & good value.
The wifi is reliable and included in the $20 per night per power site for caravans & motorhomes.
The food available at the Cafe is of very generous proportions, well cooked & tasty.
Also of note is the new charging station for ebikes.
A mini golf course is also available.
So a great place to stop, have a break, have something to eat & stretch your legs.
P. R.Female Manager Gemma rude, foul mouthed, unhelpful & if it wasn't so late we would of left. Male person next morning was polite, friendly & very helpful. Place was super clean but not sound proof at all.

N. H.Spent 1 night, clean toilets, few parking spaces available, is a bit loud due to being next to a main road and of course being a truck stop. But overall not bad as an unexpected stop over.

D. M.What a little gem of a place. Definitely the best spot to lay your head before or after the Cook Strait crossing. The management is deserving of sainthood. The cafe is currently open from 6-2a.m. and planning to go 24/7. And Kayla in the cafe is a darling

B. B.On the way out of Blenheim on the seaward rd to Kaikoura is a very good truck stop which also caters for anyone else who comes in. There are toilets & showers plus motel like rooms, ive never stayed here, and the food is great. Take the big rig breakfast it arrives & you take a gulp as its very generous & will fill you up for the rest of the day. If you want fancy tucker this is the wrong place for you, a good meal is what is found here.
Ive been here for a meal many a time & the company is always good there is also room for campervans in a carpark that has connections for them.
