Don't know why it's taken me so long to visit Little High, but oh my goodness, I'll be back. Huge delicious burgers (Big Jim is amazing!!) And if you've debated getting the cauliflower.... my advice, DO IT!! Easily one of the most delicious things I've had. We'll be back!

After last going to Bacon Bros a few months ago, I was a little worried about a return. After all, my last visit recorded the experience as the best burger and beer experience of my life. Would this live up to the hype? In short: Yes. Bacon bros food and beer matching is sublime with the staff friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. They know their stuff and deliver promptly. Even in this food court setting you could have been excused for feeling like you were in a restaurant. Top stuff, keep it up. Invite me to the opening in Wellington!

I haven't a good experience with Bacon Brothers and this is my second visit (3 years apart from each other) and the issues remained the same. It took them 24 minutes to prepare a burger. Little High was probably at 50% capacity. My three year old soon was so frustrated with the wait that we had order in the restaurant next door. The lady taking orders wasn't very nice either. Should've told customer that orders would take long. Come +20min to prepare a burger? That's crazy. Burger was average to be honest. I probably had a bad experience myself.

Have normally had alright experiences with bacon bros, but recently when I’ve ordered through Uber eats and the bread is never the same as in the pictures, it’s very disappointing when the burger looks absolutely nothing like how it’s advertised EDIT I was contacted by the business that day and was offered free replacement, Even delivered it to my home. The catering of our daughters wedding on the 21 January 2022 out at leeston memorial hall in Canterbury was amazing. The bacon brothers staff were awesome and so friendly. Everything ran smoothly and the staff were amazing with all the 109 guests. I can’t say enough about how great they were! The food was amazing and everyone loved it. The Nibbles served first and then burgers at the reception worked so well. Naming the burgers ourselves added to the fun of the wedding. Kate was great to work with organising the catering and Nothing was an issue at all. I will highly recommend bacon brothers to everyone for their events ! Sorry I don’t have any photos yet. I actually ate here some time ago. However it's been preying in my mind ever since, so I thought I'd write a review. We visited here is on a hot afternoon. I ordered a Bryan The Fireman (jackfruit, mushroom pineapple, lettuce, tomato & avocado). I really enjoyed the burger and ate it without thinking about it too much. Quite honestly the naming conventions are a bit confusing so one has to read the menu really carefully. And for someone who's generally confused without adding an extra layer of confusion... We'll come back to that. So I got back home to Auckland and I was thinking what a great burger I'd had so I googled the menu. Boy was I surprised to discover that I'd scoffed down a vegan burger. So what can one say about a place that can produce a vegan burger that can fool a meat eater like me? The only thing possible of course... I know where I'm going next time I get back to Christchurch.

Welcome to the Fergburger of Christchurch! Distinctively different tastes but both are epitome of good burgers. I am based out of town and traveled 3 hours just to try them. Regret, I did not! First off, the 6 of us all had different burgers. The mountain burger that you see is aptly named The Man Mountain, and I swear it is freaking ginormous and definitely can be shared if you're not a big eater. Definitely your daily intake of protein and we were all gobsmacked by the delightfully greasy, overflowing ingredients. I personally ordered Shane, which tbh, was a little disappointing in size when compared to The Man Mountain. The patty wasn't the juiciest maybe because it was a thicker-than-usual patty. However, having hashbrown in it was a winner for me. The chorizo added a burst of flavour to the burger, which complimented very well. The whole burger wasn't as easy to consume by the mouthful as I expected, as the sauces were overflowing and was a bit annoying towards the end. That's a good annoyance for sure, rather than not having enough of it. I wanted to order the battered onion rings and I regretted so much not doing it. However, we ordered the Bacon Bros Fried Chicken as a side to share and it was so juicy! The batter was really good. Despite having a queue, the turnover rate was high and we received our burgers in less than 10 minutes. I'm glad I found an extremely good burger joint in CHC! Can't wait to try Shaka Bros next and see how consistent their burgers are.

What can I say except for “Massive burgers that are ever so tasty! Phenomenal flavours and a huge variety to choose from including gluten free options and the staff were super aware of food allergies. It’s a busy place so order your burger and grab a drink and enjoy the outdoor seating and atmosphere while you wait.

Great burger inany locations also in Saturday farmers market. The handy sizes are easy for hand held walking style. Good selection between meat and vegetarian options. Friendly staff, very busy always and queue most of the time. I'm not a burger fan but won't mind having their burgers once in a while.

We recently dined at Bacon Bros in the Little High Eatery food arcade on Tuam and High Street. This is a neat little burger shack, dishing our very tasty burgers. Opening hours are 8am to late each day. Basically, you'll find a burger shack of sorts. Queue up, order your burger and drinks, take a pager and go find a place to sit in the Little High Eatery indoor or outdoor seating area. Once your pager flashes, pick up your order and get ready to enjoy. During our visit, we tried their Shane beef burger and a Mike the Milkman chicken burger. In short, both were generous size and tasty burgers, making use of fresh and tasty toppings and nice soft buns. Served with seasoned fries, these were just very good burgers. We'll gladly return for another round of burgers at Bacon Bros the next time we are in Christchurch.

Good burgers with vegan options. We ordered the "Andy the electrician" burger, and swapped the bacon by coconut bacon. It was fabulous and fresh. The beer battered onion rings were delicious. I would definitely recommend. The location is very nice as well out of the busy hours. It's a relaxing environment with character and background music.

Really great burgers! Loved the crusty bun and the bacon. The staff was friendly and unlike what the other comments said, food was served rather quickly, we only had to wait about 5 minutes, but it was not too crowded so take it with a grain of salt. Nonetheless the burger was one of the best I’ve had in my travels.

Ate the Man Mountain on Saturday and loved it so much I went back on sunday and stepped up to the challenge of eating the massive "Sir Ed". Both burgers are quality and definately filled me up. One of the greatest restaurant burgers I've ever had in my life. I had the man mountain, which was meat on top of meat on top of meat. The flavor was spectacular, well cooked beef, well cooked chicken and amazing bacon. Hand cut fries on the side were seasoned perfectly. And the BBQ sauce with the fries was great. I had the Jazz and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. And it came with jazz hands! 😆 My husband's sandwich came with a free joke. Amazing selection of sandwiches - bacon, burgers, chicken, and even veg and vegan options. Kids menu has one thing: a burger, but my son loved it. Wish we could have tried the cauliflower side but it was sold out. The broccoli was excellent though. Fries were also delicious. Extensive beer selection. When we arrived we were told there would be a 25 minutes wait for our food but it only took about 15. Located in a food hall so plenty of searing and other food options for any in your party who want to eat something else.

Get the cauliflower. No seriously get it, it’s the dog’s danglies. Fries also seriously tasty. This place is in a trendy food court called the Little High Eatery. It’s clean, tidy, modern. There’s free water and the toilets are numerous, private and clean. Bacon Brothers burgers are excellent. Not overly greasy, the bread is soft and light but holds together. Big selection of soft drinks and beers including some on tap. Staff were friendly and made ordering a fun process. Food cooked in an open kitchen, came out quickly. They give you those pager things and you can choose to sit anywhere inside or outside. Tables were being cleared quickly so plenty of options. Tables had serviette dispensers on them which is handy. I would become a right fat barsteward if I lived in Christchurch.

My partner and I did the barbecue masterclass last Saturday and it exceeded our expectations. Troy and his team were friendly and extremely knowledgeable throughout the four hour experience. Troy and his team made the experience as interactive as it could be with 30 people participating. We got all the inside tips and tricks on how they cook brisket, steak, chicken tenders, nibbles and sausages and we did not go hungry. Great range of beer and the All Blacks headliners from the 1990s were an awesome touch.

Great concept, fantastic staff, love the quirky environment. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. This place is a smidge above Burger Fuel. Plus, their beer selection is pretty great. Side note: If you put canned pineapple on a Hawaiian burger, and you're not a fish and chip shop, you should be ashamed. Seriously, whack some fresh pineapple on the grill, or in the oven.

We used Bacon Brothers and their van to cater our wedding, and their service was fantastic. Leading up to the event we had excellent communication from Olivia, the events coordinator, and she made sure she had a good understanding of the plan for the day. On the day, the team used their own vehicle and equipment to prepare all of the burgers and sides and served them mostly as we had asked. There was a bit of a delay for some of the burgers but nothing that interrupted the evening (probably because of our complicated service plan and large group size). I would definitely recommend the professional team for catering events, as we had great service, great value for money, and excellent food.

Bacon Brothers really do the best burgers! Definitely more pricey than other burger joints but they have a wide variety of flavours, some pretty unique! There are also a good number of vegetarian/vegan options too which is really good! 10/10 would recommend grabbing a burger from them if you head to Little High, they're one of the better shops in there!

The burgers are so good, I'm wishing we had one of these places in the states. Maybe they do but I just don't know about it. Either way, a trendy and fun place, pretty reasonably priced, only downside is they got my friend order wrong, but that can be easily remedied. I got the Ben from accounting and it had pineapple and the bacon was delicious and I love love LOVE the bun. Also really fun that they put your fries/onion rings on cutting boards.

Amazing Burgers and Amazing customer service. If you want to order any of their sides on Uber eats then you need to get in earlier the better as they sell out almost every night! Their burgers are delicious, can't say enough good things about them. If you order online be prepared for a little bit of a wait because they are that busy but trust me the wait is worth it. I'm a regular customer whenever I need a quick easy dinner these are the guys to go to, in store or online. LOVE!

Bacon Bros attended a Pitmasters comp in Nelson October 17th - I was lucky to try their burger style. Toby (owner / my cook) made a simple and very tasty burger - salt / pepper / cheese sauce. This was exactly what I wanted, and represents the foundation of a nutritious breakfast - no stupid over-stuffing of buns, just great meat cooked right. The other pleasure was that Toby was 'present' for me, the customer - while very busy, he was able to run his table and also talk about his BB business. I ended up getting the man mountain, and yes it was a mountain! I was excited to visit this place following the reviews. I didn't mind the 30 minute wait that was told by the cashier, but those 30 minutes ended up being 1 hour! I thought that'd better be worth it...but it wasn't. The patty was ok and so were the fries, don't get me wrong, but the bread was pretty average and it needed more flavour. I wouldn't wait that long if I were you, there are many nice restaurants around. I'm writing this while eating another hamburger in a different restaurant. 5 minutes wait, higher satisfaction!

This place was a little difficult to find, because it is located inside a building that is shared by a bunch of other restaurants. Once inside you'll find a host of other delicious eateries, much like a hipster gourmet food court. I ordered the Big Jim and it included fried chicken, bacon, avocado, and a yummy aioli (a NZ favorite which is a more delicious version of American ranch dressing). I had to remove the fried chicken because I couldn't bite into the burger due to its size, but it was fantastic! I got the fried cauliflower as a side and it was absolutely delectable. They were drizzled with maple syrup which was a salty/sweet combination that made my taste buds flutter with excitement. The guy at the counter was super cool, and gave my husband a discount for having a rad beard. Also, something I thought was extra special was that anything on the menu can be made vegan!

These burgers are fantastic, best in Christchurch. The guys serving are always cheery and helpful and it makes such a difference than usual burger staff you meet and talk to. There is a good selection of burgers, some with beef or chicken and others with no burger but others instead such as the breakfast burger. Piece of advice, if you can keep your burger in the wrapper. It saves a bit of mess. The chips are large but sometimes overdone but still tasty. It's usually busy so be prepared for a wait.
