I got a really nice burger for my lunch , it was the beef bacon burger with onion rings. The lady who made it done a really good job and it looked too good to eat ... friendly staff & I would highly recommend this place. The thick shake was really good as well.

Absolutely brilliant place to grab a bite to eat. Thoroughly helpful and friendly staff. If you haven't been to burgerfuel before, you'll be pleasantly surprised by their menu. If you have been before, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food. Genuinely zero complaints.

they have quite a wide variety of flavours, including some pretty unique burgers! the portion is a pretty good size too, but kinda pricey at $10 till almost $20 for a burger (excluding the fries), but it is pretty good! they also have a pretty decent membership programme where you can get some good deals on burgers / free stuff

First time for me to eat at a BF as am coeliac so I was being very cautious with this. The gourmet chicken burger as pictured was marvelous and served by a chirpy crew. My tummy was also pretty happy without any upsets, which is great coz am annoyingly sensitive to traces of gluten.

As always great burgers. Ordered on the app and my burger was ready on time.

Man I loved my burger from here. It was the ducks nuts! The lovely woman who served us was outstanding, Jenna i believe her name was. Man she was the best! Me and my sister order a couple of burgers and me (one of them vegans) wanted to change some things in the V-twin burger to make it better (i mean vegan) she was most accommodating. Even when I selected a coke then wanted to double back and get a Phoenix cole after the payment she sorted me out. What a star! So to summarize. -Mean burger -Jenna is a beast at customer service -sorted the awkward vegan out Go in and experience the ride that is fantastic service! You won't regret it

Service isn't great but the burgers are great. Most takeaway but you can eat in if you like. If the staff can be bothered to wash plates you get it well presented. The staff at Spitfire square branch are much better. You will need to wait for your burgers and you can order online but will still have to wait. There are good choices on the menu including some interesting sides, shakes and fries. Wheelchair accessible ramp and entrance.

Great burgers, just had a small issue with our order when it arrived to our table, it was missing a milk shake as we ordered two and the server clearly heard us discussing what flavor shake we wanted and then we told her our flavors. We asked the guys that brought our food over about the 2nd shake and he says there was only one shake in the order, so we were confused as the b#tch behind the till clearly heard us telling her which flavors we wanted and we paid for everything beforehand, but then had to pay for another shake because they kept saying there was only one shake with the order! Disappointing indeed, the guy/waiter really didn't let us forget to pay for the 3rd shake as he kept mentioning to pay for the 3rd shake over and over again annoyingly! Also burgers are always a bit pricey too.

I am a burgerfuel VIP and as it was my birthday I presented my birthday email, only too be told where is your ID? Which I didn't bring as I had my email. Eventually they let me have my burger. Didn't feel much of a VIP. Not impressed Burgerfuel Papanui

Good gluten free options available. Felt it was a but noisy with the music being up too loud but then again it is aimed for a different generation to me. Couldn't have a quiet conversation. The younger people at the restaurant loved it.

We like the Burger Fuel taste, A+ staff, and the place is always spotless. BUT why is the music so loud? Even the teens in our family can't stand it. The only people who need music this loud are deaf people in their 90s.

food was good, the soy thickshake was amazing but I wasn't overly impressed to see the chips that had been on the side for at least the 10 minutes I was there added to some other chips that had just come out of the fryer, tossed a few times and served to me. Fresh would have been nicer, half were cold!

Have been here lots over the last year, have never had a bad experience. staff always friendly and the food always good. A notorious problem with fast food is order accuracy yet ive never had an issue with that here, would def recommend

Feels a little nicer than other BurgerFuel restaurants, food is served on real plates. Small thing, but it's nice. Much like the others, a little expensive due to the lack of combos (expect to pay at least $20 for a burger+chips+drink) but the food is of a decent standard and well made.

Called in to try the new plant based burger as I had heard so much world wide about the development in this alternative to meat. I was amazed at the taste and texture. Had I not known I would not have guessed for a moment that it was not meat.

Took a friend or for the first time since her husband died. She really wanted a hamburger. It was so yummy!

Service was a bit lax but the food was amazing. Would easily go back.

Will give 5 stars if you have better promo. But your burger is delicious.

I love the Burgers! A suggestion! Create a "Wet Wipes" station for people to sanitize their hands after eating. Not everyone likes to go to the toilet to wash their hands after eating juicy burgers. 🤗

Hom nom nom! I've only recently discovered Burger Fuel burgers and I'm somewhat addicted. Super appreciative of the gluten free bun option (and especially that they ask if it's an allergy or just a preference - if allergy they take extra care to cook separately). Great selection, funky location, awesome staff.

Mixed results from this burger fuel takeaway. Quite often running late, maybe the phone app needs to adjust it's times to suit because we've always had to wait. Plenty of mistakes made frequently, like sauces added that there is an allergy to, adding things we don't want. . just no love for the work the staff do which only suggests management need to make adjustments. Quite often missing doofas and napkins in the takeaway bag. Been ordering less from here as a direct result.

This review applies to Burgerfuel Papanui. I am coeliac and their biofuel burger with gf bun and added cheese is perfect. The fries are good too, not cooked separately but I've not yet had a reaction. Husband had the American muscle burger. Very filling burgers.

Got half of our order wrong. Things left out of burgers which were requsted things in that were requested to be left out. Burgers in bits when opened so very messy to eat. Not in a hurry to go back. Tasted ok though.

First try for the vegetarian option and honestly the beef farmers shouldnt worry too much. Fries on the side were so salty I couldnt eat them.

Burgers are a little dry but very nice could do with more sauce but other than that great place my partner loves it there

They have the best burgers and the best kumara fries. It's rather expensive ( 13-15$ for a burger) but it's worth it because they use high quality ingredients.

I know it's popular but I don't get the appeal. Everything seems overpriced and a little bland. However their meals are very filling, really filling.

Expensive Compared to other Burger Outlets, but a Step Up. Slighty overpriced in some products, but if you like Quality, worth a Visit

Burger fuel is great. This one is a bit small, and they never serve water so make sure you bring a drink bottle.
