As Halswell residents this is our favorite go to Fish and Chippie. Staff are welcoming and the crumbed fish pieces are HUGE. Good serving of chips, I always overeat.

Damn these guys are good. The scoops are enormous, easily twice the size of other fish and chip shops. The fish, chips and burgers were cooked well and tasted great.

Has been my local for years and they have reasonable quality products however am now exploring alternitives as their prices have increased yet again to a point i can no longer reduce my order / justify tbe expense. Very sad when you have to go outside your area to get a feed when a business prices themselves out of the market. $7 for a piece of fish that has to be crumbed rather than battered is just unacceptable. I would go back if their prices were lowered to a reasonable point.

Recently something has happened to the chips - they used to be golden and crunchy and now they’re overcooked and soft. Happy to return if the issue is fixed. Not sure if it’s a different chip, or something is wrong with the oil?
