Went here on a Tuesday, the man here is just so lovely! The fish was really nice, soft and tasted fresh. Nothing was greasy and it was lightly salted, although I did forget to ask for salt. Only downside was the chips, they were quite dry and starchy, I think if they had better quality chips it would be perfect. The choc donut was really good too, overall, a nice place run by a nice person.

Wedges were really good. Fish was ok, bit small. The Giant Burger was very good! Double meat, bacon, fried egg, pineapple. Spot on. Good value

Used to be my first pick,but lately they burn the chips and fish smells off and meat patties too much herbs.not enough meat?but we love the hot chips when they not burnt!

My battered sole was nice. My pineapple ring had a thin crispy batter that wasn't doughy like most places. The chips were hot and salty but only some of them were crisp.

Was cruising by on the new ebike, and felt like a hot dog and a fish on the way to a mates place to get OTP, didn't dissapoint. Worth 5 stars as the memories of the tasty fish and hotdog got better as the night wore on and the bottle of gin got gradually emptier, was slightly dissapointed that it wasn't open at 2 am on my return trip... but that's why we have 24 hour McDonald's up the road....

Delicious and affordable food! The owners are absolutely awesome, they're always welcoming, friendly and patient with me when I can't decide what to get. There is a variety to choose from and one thing I appreciate is that it's wheelchair accessible, so they've really thought about their customers which is great! They have a good seating area with magazines and side street parking. There's a dairy next door too. Awesome Fish and Chip shop!

Awesome!!!! The scoops of chips are great value for a good amount. Reminds me of the chips we got back in the eighties/nineties. YUM! I won't be going anywhere else to get a great scoop of chips. They make toasties also which i have tried and they are nice as well. Try if your close by. You'll be glad you did 👍 😊

Scrumptiously flavoursome vietnamese food which is cooked well and served by happy people. I rate this place as a must go for good food. They know myself and family are frequent customers...so much so that when I phoned to see if they were open they asked... "Is that Vickie?" and know my favourite meal. I love this place and its food and people!

Its ok. On several occassions I had reason to believe I was not provided with the variety of fish ordered, but rather given a much cheaper variety. On two occassions the Bluff oysters ordered were substituted with inferior pacific rock oysters. (very different tasting) After having used this shop for the past 6 years I will no longer return there.
