Honestly the taste is not too bad per se, but why is everything so cold, especially the burger? The bun is cold, so is the chicken, everything feels like being cooked hours ago and just sits there to chill! I understand it’s fast food and i might not get a freshly cooked batch every time, I don’t mind having precooked food from keep warm containers, but does it need to be cold? This is really disappointing and disturbing.

Pros - hot chips, tasty burger, family friendly, happy staff. Cons - salty chips, menu signage at counter hard to read because of the lights glaring, also drove past the restaurant because the building sign blends into the building, pls make it red and stand out! Meat patties a tad under cooked but otherwise delicious, w improvements could easily be 5 stars

Doesn't look like the picture. Food is made after the order so it comes to you hot AAA+ for that one Wendy's. Always clean. I have been a few times now. Friendly staff not pushy. They wait until you are ready. Nice chilled place. Food pretty good too. Good value meals and some up there in prices.

It was ok. Not easy to find a parking spot. Food was fine but the order wasn't correct. Staff were going through the motions. I know it isn't the best place on earth but customers will still remember being treated nicely when it happens.

I'm surprised I haven't been here in 10+ years and didn't expect much. Service was friendly and helpful. Place was clean including bathroom. And the food was good I chose a chicken burger which they made keto friendly by wrapping it in lettuce. Now I know they can do keto options I will have no hesitation in returning.

In search of the best thick shake in Christchurch. The score is 4 out of 5 for Wendys.. Good size, cold, true to flavour with good up front taste. A bit too thick (you need a spoon) and a really sweet after taste lose the Wendy's shake a point. Otherwise a solid offering. No banana flavour which is a crime against milkshakes.

Good place for a quick bite to eat and drink and our burgers were okay but could have been cooked a little longer but this is a fast food place. The tables were cleaned while we were there, should have been done before we sat down. Staff nice enough but overall impression could have interacted a bit more.

I've edited my original review. The burgers were great as usual, and uber eats delivered them hot. Only problem was my order for my family was missing three sides. Uber refunded me... but shouldn't it be Wendy's responsibility? Recommended anyway.

We went to taste spicy and halal food where there is no pork. It was average in taste. We relished sweet potato finger chips. Vegetarian one was average but kids told me that chicken burger was good enough. Small and nice place those who live burgers

I enjoy going here with my friends, it is very clean and has a good atmosphere. The hamburgers they have are different from most fast food chains which can make it difficulty to decide what to get. The ice cream is very good. Would definitely recommend going here.

Just wanted a quick cheap meal. Visited Wendy's and enjoyed a very tasty meal. Had onion rings, baconator fries, spicy chick burger and avocado chick burger between 2 of us. Could not fault any of the service or food. Restaurant clean and welcoming. We have not eaten at a Wendy's for over 20 years and we hardly ever have takeaways or fast food so was a surprisingly enjoyable treat.

Really well situated in the middle of the CBD. Seating and kitchen was very clean. Good service that was really quick. I loved the portion sizes, was really hungry so the large meal really hit the spot. Couldn't believe the size of the drink.

Food is excellent. However I mainly go to Wendy's for their milkshakes. I've ordered their "Frosty Shake" at this establishment twice now and been given the "Frosty" instead... Both times they were happy to give me what I actually ordered w/o having to pay the difference, but it still makes me feel bad/wastes my time.

Wendy's doesn't disappoint, recieving your food within a few minutes of ordering, but the price is to high. With how much you are paying it is better to go to burger fuel instead and just wait a little longer.

My big negative is they close too early. 8pm is too early!!!! Why can't you close at 9-10pm like other take away places. They have tasty food if you get to them when they are open.

I thought it was Pippy Longstockings adorning the wall at first glance. Upon entering and placing my order of The Baconator, I soon found out Wendy is all about the excellent burgers and not about keeping your feet warm at all!

Love Wendy's, and they fill my keep cup instead of using plastic cups n straws, always good value for money!
