S.I attended a live music event and should have been warned when the lead singer publicly put earplugs in his ears. The first act launched into their set playing at a volume that was simply too loud for the small venue. Sitting as far away from the band as possible; any chance to appreciate the skill and expertise of the musicians was lost as the music was extremely distorted. When the music started the small bar was packed with people; after 20 mins probably a 1/3 had left and within 15 or 20 minutes of the second act starting at least 2/3 of the original crowd had left and with them a huge chunk of turnover for the bar simply walked out the door because it wasn't an enjoyable experience.
P.The true West Coast experience of friendly staff and great pub fare. Enjoyed the fish n chips and the Works Burger looked great. Pleased to find some nice craft beers too. Panhead and Cassels in bottles. We'll go back.

P.Great Pub, they have a good selection of classic beers in swappa bottles and new craft beers. I had a panhead XPA with a wonderful kiwi burger (beets and pineapple) it was an awesome combo.
Also props to them for recycling the food scraps to the local chickens so that it doesn't end up in land fill.

normally wouldny stio in barrytown, but out son was ha ing a moment and it turned out to be a perfect wee spot to have something to eat and drink
