loved it! super friendly service and a wide selection on the menu which is cool. the chips were nice and golden and crispy and totally yummy. wifey had a good whitebait patty with a tonne of tasty coast whitebait....which was rather yummy. and they still use old fashioned newspaper to wrap which is a real blast from the past! a strong recommendation

The fish n chip is fresh and the potatoes wedges is crispy on the outside soft inside. The potion is big too . The boss is also friendly will definitely recommend anyone coming here to try it out . We bought our fish n chips mixed sausages . Oh forgot to mentioned ordered Bluff oysters too . Sweet ... yum

Damn good fish and chips. Very tasty fish with home made chips that is creamy! The owner was really friendly, giving us some history and current happenings about Greymouth. Definitely worth the short drive to the takeaway!

I came here with high expectations, perhaps too high? The staff are nice, the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The fish is pretty much standard, the chips are a little different but nothing amazing. I guess there's nothing else really in Greymouth.

I'm not a BIG fish n Chip fan, can take or leave them however , we picked up F n C from Cobden takeaways while on holiday after they were recommended to us from a family member. THEY WERE THE BEST FISH N CHIPS I've ever had. I had squid rings, fish and chips. The chips are home made, so fresh and crispy. Generous portions too. Going to have to pay them another visit before heading home, that's for sure.

Fabulous! Best fish n chips I’ve had in ages. Homemade chips- big and crisp on outside and fluffy and airy on inside. Really great prices as well! Buy them and drive 4 minutes to tip and surf club and eat watching the ocean and waves. Perfecto!

Called in based on good reviews while visiting Greymouth, ordered the standard fish 'n chips with a battered sausage, potato fritter and thought I'd try a squid ring. Only fish on menu was elephant fish, never experienced that type before but willing to try. Chips were hot, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, lots of crunchy bits, hubby said battered sausage like the ones in the olden days, fritter nice and thin and squid ring great, found fish quite meaty, bit dry, might be the type, needed a lemon wedge as it was quite oily in the mouth afterwards.

So happy to find a shop that does Gluten Free Fish & Chips. Loved the homemade chips, also generous size portions of fish. First time that my Wife has had Fish and Chips Gluten Free, she enjoyed it. The Owner and shop Assistant were very helpful and told us how everything was prepared and made sure that the saucers we purchased were G/F. We found that the food was well priced. Thanks Guys

Great gluten and dairy free range of fish and chip options. Home cut wedge chips and home made batter. Honestly the BEST GF fish and chips I have EVER had! Cooked in same fryer so may not be suitable for high end coeliacs, but I was fine.
