The cheaper of the two vegetarian burgers is nicer (no HOT spice / whatever) and have enjoyed this menu item at several different outlets. But definitely give the kumara chips a miss. On both occasions I ordered, a week apart, they were soggy and at over $6 are very poor value.

I love the setup of the restaurant and the decor. The food was succulent, flavoursome and hearty! The portion sizes are huge so your in for a good feed. The pricing is higher than most burger joints but it is so worth it - a flavour sensation. The menu suits all! From gluten free, dairy free and a great selection of delicious vege/vegan options. Come on down and give it a try. You will not regret.

Food is great, service is average, this would be due to understaffed maybe? 2 staff members having to deal with walk ins and in line. Very busy, management sort it out! unfair to those that are trying to serve. Very hot venue to sit in no air con for such a busy area and small area. Tables were needing a wipe down after each diner.....hence again not enough staff. We are still in level 1 for covid. Management sort it out!

I love burger fuel, but it is mighty expensive. Service is usually good, but the staff turnover rate of this store is high so YMMV. Food is delicious. If you were a fan of the shakes, be aware that they have shrunk in size but their price remains the same. Also the shakes are sweeter now.

Burger Fuel is awesome. Got a free burger for my birthday and the staff were nice enough to write a Happy Birthday on the packaging despite it being completely free. The food is always good at this outlet and it's usually reasonably quick.

Burger Fuel does a great range of generously sized gourmet burgers and sides etc. Convenient location in 5 Cross Roads, parking on street or around the corner or around the back. You can pre order using their app

Always high quality burgers served by always amazingly friendly staff. Free parking (usually) outside the door with more just around the corner. Inside / outside seating. One of our go-to fast food destinations when we're in the mood.

Came in to grab dinner after the Zuru Night Glow show nearby and experienced a friendly and professional service. Great food and really nice staff but place is way too hot. Badly needs aircon. And The last time I had so many flies accompany me for my dinner was when I was eating on the streets of south east Asia. A really turn off. Would be 5* bar the flies. Also floor is really slippy. Needs a good scrub.

So im a lil bias as i order from burgerfuel five cross roads every week. Its actually much easier to order online and pickup on a busy friday or saturday night as the wait can get up to 40mins but hands down this is the best burgerfuel in town.

Amazing burgers and the best things is that one can also order Halal burgers. Burnout and bio fuel are a must try. and also chicken fenders are so juice and fresh. I tried fenders from other outlets as well but This particular branch serves the best fenders.

Amazing burgers. Good portions. But it can be a little heavy on the pocket. For example, if you want to same amount of food as you get in a big mac combo. It can set you back around $20 for a combo. Also, please order your food online before you even leave your house to collect the food. The wait times can be long. 15 minutes to wait for your food is expected. But, the taste of the food makes it up for it. Try CN cheese. if you want something light try the hambergini. If french fries are too boring for you, try their kumara chips (yummy) . 5 cross roads outlet is short on parking. Trying parking BEHIND the shops or do a cheeky and park in McDonald's car park. Although, Mcd doesn't like that. Top tip : buy your beverages from a dairy or McDonald's across the road lol as they have unlimited refills. Lack of car parks, and long wait times mean i will give it 4/5 stars.

Used to be great, but prices have continued to go up and their range has gotten worse, notably, they went from roughly 8 flavors of maltshake to 3 and have removed a couple of their great vegetarian options, used to be an easy 5 star, but not at the moment

Great Burgers, however there is no water suplied for drinking. Bay of Plenty stores have a jug of iced water on the counter which is helpful for people that don't want to purchase flavoured drinks.
