Good deal and enough for two.
D.There's a first time for everything. Heading back to Auckland, we dropped into Mangakino for a bite to eat and found this place. Friendly, helpful staff. I asked one of the locals if the food was ok and they said it was good. And it was! So if you need a pit stop, this place is pretty reasonable. Regards
N.Food was good, needed more salt and potato fritters were small. The service wasn't the greatest as lady was quite grumpy and made it seem like she didn't really want to take our order.
L.I'm a hiker, and have resupplied in Mangakino the two times I have walked the Waikato River Trail. It's been a huge boost to my morale both times I have visited Rosies. The gentleman with the mustache has outstanding customer service! Thank you for your encouraging words, friendly disposition, and surprise extra pieces of chicken! Delicious! Thank you on behalf of all the hikers you obviously take special care of. Keep up the good work :)
