Located in the main street of Kaikohe township, this Fish shop sells first class fish and chips as well as wet fish and fresh seafood when available. I love their flounder!! They also have smoked fish when available. Although small in size, their menu and selection is large. Many of the locals phone in their orders and pickup and pay on collection. Others place their order over the counter and wait in their cars - due to Covid-19 restrictions. 2 great systems that work. The staff are efficient, friendly and hard-working. I highly recommend a visit to this little Fish shop when you visit Kaikohe township.

Had an awesome feed of fish and chips and chowder at this place, mean kai, good prices and the staff were lovely and accommodating, excellent customer service, friendly team and i particularly liked the fish murals on the front of the building. we definitely be back here for another feed. Best place for a feed in Kaikohe

I absolutely love this place, the food is always amazing and the staff friendly, i have been coming here since i was a little girl and i wont go anywhere else, especially love the burgers and garlic chips and the fish especially the snapper is yummy AZ!! I get the scallops and oysters for my koro and he loves them. Keep up the good mahi whanau. Youz get five starz from me

Best fish and chips anywhere in NZ, I've been all over this country and this place can't be beat awesome highly recommend 👍

Yeah it's got hearty combos and Percy's wife provides Xcellent and friendly service, plus they have sandwiches, pies, cakes and a wide range of beverage. Can dine in even, highly recommend it.

A wonderful big menu of burgers, deep fried stuff (fish and chips, including paua fritters) and a decent range of wet fish available.... that you take fresh, or prepared to your specifications. Thomas's was incredibly busy (backed up queue of about 8 for the entire time we were there), yet each customer was still quietly and efficiently in a pleasant and friendly way, and still left in good time. Tasty cooked well kai. Tables available for on the spot dining. Easy walk to adjacent and nearby shops and community facilities.

Percy and Sheree source there fish snapper, mullet from the east coast from the bay of Islands to the open sea fresh to sell fry for fish and chips which my partner and I travel Tetii east to Percy and Sheree Thomas takeaway to have breakfastunch and dinner when we travel business it's always 50 per cent for the meals is here.

Love the Snapper and chips and all of their burgers taste great, if I had to choose one burger as my favorite it would have to be the fishburger. Percy and Sheree are always welcoming and friendly.

Thomas' Fish Shop a.k.a Percy's has had the best fiah and chips in Kaikohe. The only place you can get decent fresh fish and seafood for sale. I've been going there since I was at Kindy and have loved it to this day (over 30yrs now). I love that they have continued to use their own made chips instead of frozen chips. Definitely stop in!

Excellent service, amazingly cooked Hoki battered fish, Hamburgers are so delicious and the prices are avoidable. Thankyou you to Percy, Cherie and staff for your service, freshness of the fish and kai-moana :O)

The combo lists pricing seemed rather steep, however I ordered the $17.50 combo 3 fish 3 sausages 2 battered crab sticks $5 chips On returning home and opening the package I was delighted the fish pieces were quite big and the sausages were big as we're the crab sticks, also the chips were a generous serving and cooked to exactly how I like them with some extra crispy bits very nice

The Best Fish and Chips in Kaikohe so far and for a long time. Really the only place you can buy fresh fish or Seafood. =)

Customers service excellent always have a smile very polite food is cooked to perfection and reasonable prices my husband love their homemade chips and the rest so 5 star for us
